Such a nice surprise to find this amazing restaurant in Antlers!! This is a hidden gem and if you are ever in SE Oklahoma, go by for a delicious meal. The bread and food are amazing. The salads with the entrees are kinda puny but the entree and bread and fabulous service makes up for it!! We had the Roma Special and Brinkley special....so flavorful!! In town visiting relatives and they recommended to eat here. No disappointment here, full plates of delicious food. I had the pasta sampler wasn't sure what was what but everything was awesome. This was so delicious!!! You walk in and you are slapped with amazing smells. The complementary garlic butter bread was amazing I was told. I got the Brinkley Special and oh my goodness it was delicious! I kept saying how good it was and tried to get others to try it. They were so accomidating for my good allergies/sensitivities. Our waitress was so friendly. Everyone's food looked good. The salad that came with my entree was nothing special, but hey it was green and came with a tomato slice. First time eating here, just moved to the area. Got 1 XL pizza, pepperoni& mushrooms. They overcharged me saying it was a "specialty" pizza which is 4 toppings or more....... I say, this is my first time I just want to confirm the correct price. The manager, confirms that I was overcharged and obviously feeling some type of way, says something along the lines of "I'll take it off your next order" HATE THAT. There won't be a next order. There's other chain restaurants than I can frequent instead of giving my money to this small business--- which I normally prefer. This place in an exception to that rule. Friendly staff and clean environment. The large meatball was cold and didn't really taste like real meat. The pasta tasted authentic but everything was covered in the same sauce. I thought the plates could have been prettier. Overall it was good and kid friendly. read more

I asked for the wine menu and they don't have any. The salad is simply a lettuce with one slice of tomato. I did truly like the blue cheese dressing. Quite frankly my salad was slathered in dressing. OH, MY GOODNESS! Locals, please please keep this incredible restaurant in business! My husband and I just happened upon this jewel. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the Chicken Florentine-yuuuuuummmmmy! My husband had the Roma Special and he love loved it! The garlic rolls were soft, buttery goodness-we haven't had any this good in quite a long time. The waitress was so sweet. She was knowledgeable, but more importantly, she really cared about our contentment. She went out of her way to accommodate our requests. Now, if all that isn't enough for you, we just mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary and she brought us some cheesecake!!! And, of course, it was amazing, also! I hope Roma makes it for many years. We will be back, for sure, when we are in the area! read more

We went to Roma's last night because one of the wonderful members of our church gave us a gift certificate. We enjoyed our time there, however, I have mixed reviews about their food. First, our waitress was very, very nice and that always makes your dining experience more pleasant. Second, when I ordered a second plate of food because I didn't like my first plate, someone from the restaurant politely came out to check on the shrimp and the plate. These things are definite pluses and helped to make our dining experience a positive one. We both enjoyed the rolls and my husband really enjoyed the olive oil, garlic, and basil dipping sauce. He would give that a 4 and thought it tasted good. I did not really like it this time, but did enjoy the rolls themselves. My first played was the Shrimp Alvita no and although the shrimp tasted very good and I thought they were a substantial size, I just did not like the sauce at all. I thought it was very bland and the combination of food used to make it weren't flavorful together. Since we had some money on our gift certificate left over, I ordered the Chicken Parmigiana like my husband did. It was a large... Amount, with two pieces of chicken , spaghetti pasta covered in cheese and marinara sauce and there was no way I could eat it all. My favorite part was the pasta covered in cheese with the marinara sauce, but I brought most of it home for my husband to dine on later. I'm not really a breaded chicken girl, but I thought it was all right, I certainly Liked it much... Better than the Shrimp Alvino. My husband said he would give his a 3 1/2 and he thought it was good. I don't think it's the favorite one he's ever had, but he surely enjoyed it and will enjoy dining on what we brought home. The plates were definitely plentiful and good size portions. I did like their homemade house dressing, but I was not too impressed with their salad. As you can see, it's relatively simple and I love when there's little extras and the house salad has a little more sides added to it. We did enjoy our time. It was way... Better than the Italian food we ate in McAlester, Oklahoma about 10 days before that. I would say there would be a possibility that we would go back here, but would in a NEV ER go back to the one in McAlester. read more

I can't believe how good Roma's food is, especially for a small-town Italian restaurant! When family comes to visit, they make sure we know that we must have at least one meal at Roma. We have never had a problem with service, but people need to remember that this isn't a fast food restaurant. Portions are more than ample (I always end up taking some home for later), and prices are good considering the quality and portion size. It's not a fancy place, but the dining area is clean and pleasing to the eye. Most of all, however, I recommend the food. I have never had anything there that I didn't love. read more

What a delightful find in Hugo. We we're driving back to Edmond and decided to explore Hugo and fortunately ran across Roma Italian. We were greeted with a warm welcoming smile as soon as we entered. Our server was quite knowledgeable and helpful. Once we ordered a plate of delicious hot garlic buns arrived promptly followed by our salads. The main courses arrived shortly and proved to be excellent. I wish we lived closer to this wonderful restaurant. read more

Found this place on Yelp after finding out the restaurant we had planned to eat out was closed on Sunday. The best find ever, never thought I would find such authentic Italian cuisine in Hugo, OK. We live 3 hours away, but we will be back. They did tell us they are opening a second location in Ada, OK which is only 45 minutes from us. But if your ever in Hugo, or passing through, this is worth it, great prices, large portions, great friendly staff! read more

It was okay at best. There were three of us and they were not very busy but the service was pretty slow. The food was average and I want a few things to add to my order to spice it up some and kept looking around for the waitress. Finally the owner saw me and came over, he was very polite and helpful and brought me what I requested. If you like good, flavorful, spicy Italian this isn't it, but it wasn't bad. I travel for work and visit many Italian restaurants. I ordered the Brinkley special recommended by the waiter. It was a chicken dish with spaghetti noodles seasoned with olive oil and other seasonings. The chicken was prepared very well was not dry, very juicy and very flavorful. The homemade dinner rolls are very delicious with a sprinkling of garlic Yum. My only beef with the restaurant is the is that the tables and booths are very used and dated. My table had several open cracks and peeling shellac. But overall it's a well priced restaurant. I recommend everyone to go to this restaurant it's worth the price. read more
