Avoid this place!!! The staff is inattentive and RACIST!! The crazy women who I guess OWNS the bar started yelling at my family and another couple to leave the board area. She was clearly drunk and said she had call the police and we had to go? All we were doing is enjoining the view along with a couple of people who were fishing. Then I noticed that both my family and the other couple were people of color and it came to my attention that we were the only people who were being spoken to in a nasty way. Who does this lady think she is? And why does she think it's okay to speak and yell at people this way? Also, not to mention that way before all of this happened I approached the bar to buy a drink and did not receive service. There are other beautiful places is Carolina beach to visit. DO NOT waste your time and money here. NOT worth it. read more

Normally I love this place... but they claimed to close at 7, and after tipping over 50% each round, they said they were closed and not serving alcohol. I watched them serve their friends beer after the fact. I asked. What's up? I thought you weren't serving alcohol? And she said, oh yeah I guess I can give beer.... as a local that's been coming here since I was of age - boo on you for catering to tourists and not your regulars. We are the ones who are here when the days aren't sunny and warm. Keep in mind, you claim to be happy to be open, and then treat your regulars like dirt. People are selectively spending their cash these days.... a little customer service would go a long way. read more
