My husband is a bourbon and cigar kind of guy. I don't like either and honestly I was dreading this. WAS I EVER WRONG!! The atmosphere was wonderful. They have wine, coffee drinks and probably anything else to drink that you could think of. There were quite a few people there and the majority were smoking cigars. I thought it would smell terrible and be very smoky. Again, I was wrong! The only cigar I could smell even a tiny bit was my husband's and that because I was sitting right next to him. The young man behind the bar was attentive and the best kind of bartender. No hovering, but knew if you needed anything. He was very knowledgeable about the types of alcohol and he and my husband chatted about them. This is a lovely place and I'm sure will become a favorite. read more

This place is a Bourbon extravaganza, which a decently stocked humidor. If you go in thinking it's a normal bar, you'll be sadly disappointed, but if you go in looking for whiskey (or whisky!) in all of its glorious forms, you will be delighted. Bourbon, sour mash, Irish whiskey, Scotch Whisky, multiple American craft whiskey labels, all of it in its wonderful brown joyfulness. Cigars are a bit pricy, but you can smoke them in there, and they have a good ventilation system to keep you from smelling like a chimney. read more

For a resort area, there really are very few choices where you can both smoke a cigar and enjoy your favorite cocktail. Bourbon and Burnz is the best, and I've been several times while at the beach. Intimate, comfortable setting. While the humidor is not huge, it is very well curated, and the staff has been knowledgeable about the stocks each time. Wife and I went on Tuesday (Ladies Night- 50% off all wines). We shared a nice bottle of red and I tried a couple of their many(!) bourbons. They have dozens that range from $5 to $350 for 2oz pours. We also had the meat and cheese plate and wings. For dessert we shared a bourbon pecan pie slice All of it was first rate, as good as any place on PI. The service was attentive, without being intrusive, and knowledgeable. We aren't cigar smokers. But there were a couple guys smoking cigars inside. Their filtration system is great; only the slightest hint of sweet cigar smell. I would recommend this place for the food and bourbon selection. The nightly specials and cigars (if you smoke) are an added bonus. read more

Hadn't been to Pawley's in two years and was pleased to see this new place. The first time we went, I wanted to watch the Cub game but they didn't have the MLB package. We left without sampling any of the bourbons, but based on a quick look at the whiskey menu, I definitely wanted to come back. Ended up coming back the next night by myself and sampled several bourbons and ryes and enjoyed a nice cigar as well. They have an excellent selection of whiskeys at reasonable prices. The Elijah Craig 18 yr was excellent and priced very well at $14 for a 2 oz. pour. They have a few humidor cabinets with a fairly small selection of cigars, but they do stock some excellent puros. I tried a nice AVO XO robusto which was an excellent smoke. The decor and feel of the bar was quite comfortable and the ventilation system was excellent. In addition to the bourbons and ryes I sampled, they also have scotches, Irish and Canadian whiskeys and other American whiskeys. The selection of these seem to be as extensive as bourbons. They stock other spirits, wine and beer as well. They also have a food menu, which seemed to be somewhat limited, although I only took a quick glance at it. I was there for the booze! If you enjoy a nice whiskey and a stog, this place is a must! read more

This place is terrible. I went in and there are two people sitting at the bar and no one else in the place. The funny thing is one of them is the bartender. I have my own cigar so she tells me it $3 to smoke it there. I look to see if I want to buy one and they are so over priced it would have been better to pay the $3. I would think I sometimes it's better to eat the $3 to increase your customers by 50% then turn people away. I would have drank and had food. Unless you have money to burn don't go. read more

What a great night! Came down from NY to visit my parents and found out about this whiskey/cigar bar and couldn't stay away. Their selection is excellent including many hard to find brands like Pappy Van Winkle (they had every year). They also had some of the experiment Buffalo Trace bourbons including the Single Oak Project. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Terri, our bartender, was very friendly and knowledgable. As previous posters have stated, the filtration system is great and the bar does not overwhelm with cigar smoke. This will surely be a go-to spot every time I come back to visit! read more

There is a huge selection of bourbons to try and all offer a 2 ounce pour. Not really a cigar smoker so can't really comment on that other than to say it is a cigar bar as well. The smoke won't bother you if you are a no smoker. They offer snacks as well but I have not tried them yet. Great addition to the area! read more
