My daughters fast pitch team had an event here. While I have driven by this park for many years, I never gave it a second look. This place has something for all age groups. They have a laser tag area, rock climbing and even gem stone mining for the littles. But the main reason everyone comes here is the elevated obstacle course in air. Everyone starts out with about 30 minutes of instruction on how to navigate the course safely. This mainly due to the fact that you have two tethers and only one can be up clipped at a time. Once you are up in the obstacle course you will find green(easy), blue(intermediate) and black(oh heck no). The option for you to personalize your adventure is always in your control. The staff watches very attentively over their guests. I did see them in action a couple times sprint out to check on a potential issue, that did not materialize, but they were there. The coming down from the upper levels is the best part, zip lines. There are multiple zip lines and multiple places to exit the course. This is a fun places for the kids and adults to play and experience. The pricing was very reasonable for the time we had on the course. read more

This experience far exceeded all of my expectations! I booked the rope course and zip line for my friend and me to do together, and honestly, I had no idea what I was getting us into. But from the moment we pulled into the parking lot, I knew we were in for a wild and memorable ride. The staff was incredibly friendly, informative, patient, and just all-around amazing. My kids (8 and 11) struggled a bit in the beginning, but Savannah was amazing and helped them get super comfortable and provided the guidance they needed. Purchased the Adventure Pass for three of us to celebrate the teen's birthday. She loves ziplines, mini golf, and axe throwing so we thought this would be a great way to do everything in one place. The mini golf "course" is just set up in between the ropes course and axe cages, unsheltered with mulch spilling onto the "green." So much that you would have to spend too much time cleaning each hole before playing and we did not want to spend our limited time on that. The ropes course was challenging and although safety protocol was explained and we did a trial run on ground, there was not enough explanation on the rope drop (at the end of each of the 2 zipline runs). On the first drop, I kept asking for assistance as there was a large gap between knots and I had trouble grasping the top one when dropping. The employees yelled to just grab it. So i did. Ended up slicing my finger and hand so much it bled through the glove and I didn't realize at the time I also had fractured my finger. They gave me a new glove and I went back to my family to finish the second zipline. On the second one, at the end/drop, the rope got tangled with the (i forget the name, the key that starts with a T) key's rope and I suddenly got stuck halfway down. This jerked my shoulder/arm and no one came to help so I sat there stuck for quite a while. Thankfully someone else and my partner ran over to untangle it and I was able to lower myself to the ground. We made sure to stick around for the person behind me and made sure the same thing didn't happen to her. She was a little freaked out after seeing what happened to me. After the zipline we moved on to axe throwing but the target we had was like mush and after a few throws, we gave up. Explanation on how to throw was also not what we have learned at other axe throwing places so we didn't feel too comfortable or confident in that space. I opted to get the GoPro camera ($20) to record our birthday adventure but unfortunately, since the start/stop button is positioned on top, my partner accidentally turned it off when he hit his head on a pvc tube, and when he had to reposition his helmet he also accidentally hit the stop button. There's no guard or "cap" on the button so you need to be very careful not to touch it! Thankfully the teen noticed the record light was off and the counter had stopped. We managed to get maybe 10 minutes of footage in the end. This place has a lot of potential but it seemed like the staff was just running through the motions and the area isn't maintained as well as it should be. For $320 spent I would at least like a clean mini golf course :) Here's hoping improvements are made because it is nice to have something like this closer to us than having to drive down almost to Oregon. read more

Underwhelming. Site oversells it. It is just a large lot (like a small fair with rides only) and all activities are within a small area. It is more for younger kids in grade school or middle school. We took a teenager who felt the same. Please know I am being kind when I say these things and giving an accurate description: The mini-golf is like mini mini-golf for grade schoolers The climbing wall is literally straight up so if it is the first time you have done it, it is perfect. If you have any experience as a rock climber, it is too basic and will not be of interest. Again, great for grade schoolers and middle schoolers (with no experience) - Axe throwing looked decent - Laser tag was literally just another designated area with big blocks almost evenly distributed in every direction (not varied) and looked really boring. There was nothing enticing about it. Again, for younger kids, probably great - Ropes course was really the ONLY thing (well that and axe throwing) that would be fun or of interest for a teen or adult. The challenges it had were similar to one I have done before that was soooo much fun and the right amount of challenge. So unless you have a young child or only want to do the ropes course (and maybe axe throwing), skip it. I wish the site was more straight forward about it being more geared toward younger kids. read more

I took my family on a family date to the outdoor location near Mukilteo, and we all had a blast. We did the mini golf course, and there are so many challenges. It didn't look like it from just looking, but we were all pleased. The difficulties were harder as we went on. My kids can't wait to go back to try the other activities available. Fun, fun, fun! I'm so glad we went. We started off playing mini golf, and some holes were challenging while others let you try to get a hole-in-one. All the golfing materials were clean and well organized. There's ax throwing cages, and laser tag, but we didn't choose to do those activities. There's also a climbing wall, but it wasn't available during our visit. The real reason to visit is the ropes course and zip line. It's quite intimidating for this old lady. We watched the safety instruction video, and staff was very helpful getting us geared up. The lessons about how to use the clips was tailored to us individually so that staff was certain that we would be safe. Short story...I couldn't do it. Got to the first landing and had to wait for another climber. I made the mistake of looking down and the head games began. I went back down and I was graciously offered a refund. My granddaughter got stuck so staff went up and helped her go all the way to the zip lines. I got lots of great pictures. High trek does offer 1 and 3 day camps for kids during the summer, and we will take advantage of that. We had so much fun that I can heartily recommend you visit. read more

Unsure if you can fill out a paper one or use their own computers to do it so you may need to be somewhat tech savvy- meaning, someone like my mom would prob need to be walked through what a QR CODE is, and how to scan it. The staff here are definitely on point. All are helpful, cheerful and take their jobs seriously. When someone gets stuck on the zip line, staff will literally sprint to closest corresponding stick on a rope to help the stuck guest out. Someone is always watching, which is comforting. I was unsure about how safe this activity would be for little ones, but their safety system is pretty secure. One carabiner is locked in at all times. Lovely. Took our kiddos and their friends here for 2 hours of rope course fun and Zipline. The structure is bigger than the one we tried in Redmond before. There are 3 levels of courses on the structure, the lower level is the easiest and it gets harder as you go further up. The kiddos manages to go through most of them without any problem, the open loops one on the 3rd level was most challenging for all of them. There are some very creative courses with rock climbing included. The kids were able to run through everything and did multiple Ziplines round in 2 hours. They had a blast! read more

We picked this as a team building event for our small staff. Very few of us had ever done something like this, so we weren't sure what to expect. The location was easy to find, and a 20 minute Uber ride from the Edmonds / Kingston ferry dock. The instructor was SUPER nice. He was used to working with children, which made him very fun. He had great energy! We played games for the first hour or so under a tent while it POURED on another group doing the ropes course. We got all geared up and went over some safety procedures. I didn't know anything about clips or harnesses, but it was easy to learn and our guide made it comfortable to ask questions. We were lucky that the weather cleared out and it wasn't a down-pour when we went on the course. In this busy world, it is hard to take time out of our lives to enjoy each others company. I am so glad we did this event in the first place, and am thrilled that High Trek Adventure made it even more memorable for us. We all left feeling like we 'bonded' over the experience. We all had a great time. It is something we will consider for our next corporate outing. Good for all skill levels - and I will TOTALLY bring my little brothers here sometime to kill a few hours. Do NOT believe this location's website where they claim to be requiring masks. Once you're on the course they are NOT required and they're not enforcing any kind of distancing. We made a reservation and paid $100 to bring 2 kids only to arrive for and have a gaggle of unmasked, unvaccinated kids all over mine, getting in their faces and in one case coughing all over everyone. On a small platform you can't get away from someone like that, and the staff did not care. I even went into the office to ask about what their website says, and they said they just haven't gotten around to changing it - as if that's a difficult task in 2021. Completely inexcusable when they POST a policy specifically requiring them then don't follow through. If they had been honest we wouldn't have come, but then that's probably why they're lying - that way they get your money and you leave. Dishonest hacks. read more

As a rock climber, this is definitely my element, and despite the pouring rain and the wind during my first visit, and a bit of a rope tangle snafu at the end that required me to climb back up onto a platform on a single strand of rope (after the person in front of me got confused on how to exit), it was super fun. The challenge course makes me want to come back again on a sunnier day, although I imagine after a couple of runs the novelty might wear off. Would definitely suggest this ropes course for people looking for a fun, challenging way to spend a few hours. With the climbing gym opening up next door, this area might soon be the nexus for adventure games. Review for the high ropes course: Man this place is FUN! Of course, I love this kind of thing, so it depends on how comfortable you are with heights and your level of body strength depending on what level you choose. Let me back up... 1. Arrive with your waivers filled out online! I believe most of the employees are high school kids or local college kids, so keep that in mind. They are all nice though and helpful when you need it. COVID measures were being followed, and well organized. 2. You watch a safety video and then get suited in your harness, helmet and gloves. 3. You watch the instructor and then try clipping on/off yourself, learning how the clips lock and unlock to move from "element" to "element". There are 4 levels of difficulty so perfect for young kids to adults. They have employees there that were going up with kids if they need assistance. 4. Basically you go up on your own and explore the different challenges, and then can go on three zip-lines that connect back to the end of the course. Some of the "black" (most difficult) elements were quite challenging--they aren't kidding about upper body strength--but I like a challenge! Just keep that in mind, know yourself and how far you can push yourself. We were a group of adults, so we didn't need any assistance. That being said, I would COME EARLY in the morning (if you have a similar group, or with HS aged kids and up). For two reasons; 1) It got really busy towards the end of our session and you end up having to wait for slow kids to get across--and the zip-line gets backed up because there are kids who don't really know how to do it (and mom sent them across without any help on the other side...) 2) It gets pretty warm-to-hot during the day. Bring your own water, they have water, but during COVID, you should drink your own anyways. They take your group picture before you get on the course, which is a nice take-home. It's definitely not a "cheap" experience, but you know that going in. Just try and maximize your time as much as possible. We booked two hours (your time doesn't start until you are physically on the high ropes course structure), which I would say is more than enough time in the morning, but like I said, it got busy, so two hours is probably better in the afternoon since you will be waiting. The setup and instructions are really clear and the system they have feels very safe, particularly with kids though they might need some help here and there. The explanation and hands on assistance was great for a first time roper. The lock and unlock clips so you can take your own path was cool, challenging and scary (in a good way). No for the star loss... 10 people and we all were charged different prices. Why? I registered days in advance and heard you received a percentage off. Nope oh well must have miss heard. Our group paid anywhere from 35-45 per person. That's odd business practices. If you paid the high end for 4 people you got charged$40 bucks more than another group of 4 paying the low price. Had no clue this existed until a FB ad told me of it and we were looking to get out due to COVID. Were pleasantly surprised at all the safety measures they had in place, for you on the course and COVID. Our youngest who is 11 froze on a rope and started crying. A worker nearby who was doing the training came over and saved the day by guiding her back to the platform. This was a fun time and I really enjoyed watching my oldest head right up to the top of the course and daredevil her way through. We ended with putt putt which I don't recommend as the area can get windy and there's no real frills to it, but takes no stars away from the course and zipline experience which were a blast. read more

I've been to all the local challenge courses and was very excited to see this one appear at a location closer to me. I think its really fun to challenge both your strength and fear of heights simultaneously, and spend a couple hours doing some active exercise. This is harder than it looks if you have never done it and does require a lot of body strength, especially on the upper levels. Its also a great activity do with a friend or group of friends as a bonding experience. I was super excited to get a groupon and save some money on the cost as well. My 2 hour session was on a beautiful sunny evening and very enjoyable. Reservation making was simple enough. I wanted to go on a weekday after work to avoid the crowds. This worked out great except there is not a changing area and I really wanted to wear more athletic clothes rather than my everyday work clothes. There was a large honey bucket on site, but a future changing area would be helpful. Getting set up was easy, as I had filled out the waiver online. Staff were onsite to provide gear and instructions on how to use everything. I am always thankful for the practice class before hand even though I have done this a million times, it always helps me feel more safe and secure. This set up was unusual to me as you are hooked into the structure from start to finish. There are 60 different elements, so a little something for everyone with things becoming more difficult and scarier as you go higher. Its easier to start near the bottom to gain some confidence, but I always forget that I should do the harder things early on when I have more strength. There are also 3 small zipline towers that are on separate platforms. Staff were on the ground rather than in the structure to offer assistance, but nearby at all times in case you needed them. I am sure I will go back many times over the years and look forward to the day when I can complete all the obstacles with ease. read more

Pretty fun experience!!! My husband and I have been looking for a new date night activity and we came across High Trek! It was really fun and really exhilarating. The zip lines are really high up and the obstacles were really interesting! We had a fantastic time!!! Totally would recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity that's a little different to do in Seattle!!! :) The instructors were really great as well. Pretty funny and chill. But you could tell, take safety very seriously! I think we both scheduled for an hour and a half. We got through most of the obstacles and zip lined twice! We might have been able to get the entire obstacle course done, but unfortunately, at the beginning I was a little too scared so that sort of ate into our time. LOL. I'm like so terrified of heights. Great family activity! We've done one of these each summer for the past 5-6 years in Romania and couldn't wait to try this thsr was opened here. It's challenging enough that some people will not be able to do all the elements, but easily doable end-to-end If you are in good physical shape. My 15 years all had no problems completing all elements. His assessment: Too easy. Yey enjoyable enough. My 11 years all enjoyed it as well and did most of the elements (he passes the black ones because he was a bit short for them). Other pluses: the securing locks is very safe: one of the locks is locked all the time. I felt totally comfortable letting the kids do everything they wanted on their own. The course is new. Everything looks great. The staff was very nice. It wasn't crowded at all (I expect this will change in the future as people discover it). The only thing I'd like to see improved: expansion. Perhaps add some (even) more challenging elements to keep you coming back. This is absolutely great for a first timer! Such a fun and adventurous obstacle course and jungle gym! I've never been to anything like this in Seattle. Although it wasn't my first time zip lining, it was my first time in a setting like this with the huge rope course. The staff were awesome in helping everyone gear up and explain instructions on how to wear and use the equipment. They make sure you understand how to use your equipment before you head onto the course. There are multiple different colored levels that you can choose from to go on in the obstacle course. Yellow being the easiest for children, blue and green being medium level, and black being the most challenging. I chose green and blue and would have to say that they are also pretty difficult at times, especially as you get to the top third level. This activity will really test your strength and balance. It was definitely very scary as you get higher, and in order to access the zip lines you have to get to the third level up top. There are 3 zip lines but I wish they had more! I think I got done with the whole course within an hour, but I took my time with each course. The good part is that you can go on the course again once you finish. You will definitely get the hang of things once you finish your first course. This is a great activity for groups or parties and to stay active! Hoping to visit again sometime in the future but it is pretty far up north from where I'm from. read more

I had such a fun time with my 11 yr old son doing those course. We spent an hour and a half on it and were able to do about 75% of the obstacles and run through the zip lines twice. There is a good variety of obstacles ranging from easy to difficult. The staff is very friendly and helpful in explaining how the process works and is available if you need help. Loved this place, such a fun experience! This was my first ropes course so I'm not sure how it compares to other places, but just by itself it was great. Pros: - very nice staff (the manager Shannon was helpful when we called in as well as on the day we came) - there is a nice mix of easy and difficult segments (the whole course is essentially a three-story grid made up of 3x5ish segments, you have to clip in to each segment to cross) - you can take any route through the course, which makes it feel more adventure-y - the zip lines weren't scary! (all three zip lines and connected in a row to the top of the ropes course, so you can choose to do them at any time or not at all) - the intro safety course was helpful but short and sweet Cons: - bring your own water! (they have a cooler but the cups to drink are teeny tiny) - there can be a wait for each segment (we went on a slow day so the clogs were a nice breather but I imagine it might get a little chaotic with more people) read more

Even with unexpected rain, our kids had a great time. My kids ages 11-15 enjoyed the rope course and did the zip lines 3x in 1.5 hours. I think the 2 hour option is plenty of time to do everything. My daughter is 54" and was just a shade tall enough to do all the clips herself (on tiptoes). An inch shorter and she would have had a really tough time reaching the clips, esp to undo them. I just noticed the website said participants have to be able to reach 70" unassisted. Nobody measured or tested my daughter and I'm sure she cannot reach 70". Luckily, she just soldiered on, doing the best she could and was able to do 90% on her own (twice a staff had to come help her unclip b/c she could not reach). After the orientation staff are very hands off which worked out fine for us. read more

So, we've all been looking for something to do after months of lockdown. High Trek has been advertising a lot that they're a safe option, and reading their description online I felt it was worth the risk. The ropes course itself is AWESOME. If I was only reviewing that I'd say 5 stars. BUT the staff aren't wearing masks. Our instructor helping get equipment on walked right up to my daughter and started adjusting her harness, unmasked, three inches from her face. When I realized what was happening I was too taken aback to even say anything, which I regret. After that I repeatedly had to tell my kids to step back from unmasked staff members. Given that wearing a mask when you can't help be within 6' of others is now required by the State, this was disappointing. I did see some employees in masks, but a couple consistenly not. So even though we had a great time on the course, we will not be coming back. read more

This place was awesome! We purchased an hour and a half session on the course, but I'd recommend a two hour session if you want to complete all of the obstacles. When we first saw the course, we figured we'd be done in 30 minutes, but we were surprised at how much bigger the course felt once we were on it. There are three tiers - the easiest obstacles are on the bottom tier, and the most challenging are on the top. I wish I'd made my way to the top tier sooner because those were the only obstacles that were difficult for me. I was actually surprised by the lack of supervision on the course itself. Personally, I enjoyed the freedom, but I have experience with ropes/mountaineering. I wonder about people who aren't as experienced. They do give you a quick lesson on managing your safety lines before you enter the course, but just make sure you're always clipped in if you go. All in all, a super fun experience! read more
