Prices are a little bit up there but you kind of expect it being a resort inside the JW. Service was great and we got a bar seat during lunch. We had a couple of beers and calamari for an appetizer. A little greasy but still pretty good. I liked that they added the banana peppers, extra little kick. Our lunch was fantastic. The pickle fried chicken sandwich comes with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and fries. The lighter breading on the chicken was very good. My husband got the philly cheesesteak dip. The drinks were pricey, our waitress was extremely slow and inattentive on a slow night, and there was hair all over my chicken wings. I threw up shortly after leaving there and felt sick to my stomach for hours. Today, I looked at my leftovers in the natural light (It's very dark in the restaurant.) and discovered hair all over my chicken wings. I also posted pictures of the hairy chicken wings. This place had a single reservation available when we looked on a Wednesday night to book for Friday night. Great place to watch a game! Tons of TVS, and if you get the right seat, you have your own personal TV. The HUGE screen along the wall is pretty cool... except when it's light out, it's hard to see. Their prices are steeper than other sports bars, but the quality is worth it. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars!!!! So pissed off with this place! Came to watch the 2nd round of the MLB playoffs. First time here and my LAST! We walked in and only 1 tv showing the Dodger/Cubs game. The rest of the TV's all showing the Texas Longhorns. I get it I'm in Texas and the majority are going to be watching a Texas game. But you know what not everyone in Texas wants to watch a Texas team!!! Anyway the T.V. they have showing the game is in front of the server station. WTF who wants to watch a TV with constant people walking in front of it!!! So I see a couple seats at the bar in front of a TV that no one is watching! We ask the manager if the Dodger game can be turned on and bc no one was watching he said sure! So now I we order our drinks/ food! Happy watching our game and then this woman out of nowhere says to me "this is a private party" I say" We are just here watching the game" and she said you can't sit here! I told her we have been sitting here and no one said anything! Anyway long story short I told her I'm not moving unless someone that works here tells me to leave. Well she storms off to tell the bartender to make me leave. So he comes over and says I am going to pay.....i cut him off and said NO I'm leaving! Went here after a spa day here at the JW. Like everyone else said, the big screens are great (although I imagine they are better/more clear at night). Great place to watch sports. I had the spinach salad (yeah...trying to be healthy before ordering the dessert). My friends were all happy with their meals as well. We got the brownie dessert, with ice cream on top. OMG. I LOVE chocolate dessert, but it's only worth it if it's super delicious. THIS was totally worth it. I grew up in San Antonio and this indoor/outdoor sports bar was so spacious and beautiful. The staff was friendly and I would love to give this place five stars, but we wanted to sit and drink and have some appetizers during a spurs game. I know what the spurs fans are thinking "no way you get a table" yes I agree to accommodate a big group like that takes preparation, however if you haven't been updated on your status after 2.5hrs you should have been. read more

Stopped in for something quick to eat before heading to the airport. When you check in at the hostess stand they asked which game you wanted to watch (this was an NFL Sunday). We didn't care, so they sat us somewhere. We were able to see at least three to four TVs which was nice. Beer list was good and the nachos were surprisingly good. We didn't stay for too long, but a great place to catch a game. It was hard to see the huge 120 ft. screen in the daytime and it is also hard due to viewing distance. Great food. We were staying long weekend at resort ate dinner both nights here. The appetizer artichoke and Crab dip was amazing and would have been plenty for me and my husband for the entire dinner. Unfortunately we ordered entrees before we knew that. He got the pastrami burger and I got shrimp tacos. Both good -just too much food. The next evening we split the nachos with chicken appetizer. Huge plate full. We ordered extra queso.
