Difficulty: 9/10 This is one of the more challenging courses in the state. Very narrow fairways & challenging greens, with lots of water features and thick brush. Service: 10/10 There we're 2 cart girls when we played who came around frequently. They even provided the number for the cafe to pick up lunch at the turn- loved that!! Members of the pro shop were professional and courteous. Price: $85-110/round. Affordable lunch, drinks, and snacks! Pro Shop: 8/10 Lots to pick from here! They had awesome vest, quarter-zips, hats, and more! I was surprised with the lack of variety: no lefty clubs, very limited women's collection (gloves, shirts, skirts). Overall, we loved the way the logo looked on everything! Pace of Play: 4 hours 30 minutes. I've played at Oxford Greens a few times now. Be prepared for slow play. They have a great starter who lets people out timely and rangers monitoring play. Seems as though things get slowed due to the difficulty of the course, nonetheless playing here is guaranteed to be a blast!

Tee boxes were a mess, dirt and mud dominated the designated teeing areas on most holes. Fairways were soggy in many places ... even though there hadn't been significant rain in three days. Greens were very slow and not well maintained - unrepaired ball marks, etc. Finally let's talk cost - $128.50 to ride 18. There are several municipal courses in the area that play better, are in better shape, and cost less. The only highlights were the friendly staff - starter, cashier, drink cart driver, and cart wranglers. Management needs to fix the course before they can demand these prices.

Having played Whitney Farms on and off for 35 years I had not been a fan until recently. The layout…read morewas and is a little quirky. When the course was poorly maintained that quirkiness was annoying especially because the greens were so bad. Over the last couple of years the course has undergone a remarkable transformation. The greens now are smooth and roll true although they are as difficult as ever to read. Kudos to the new greenskeeper!. Tee to green is generally very good. There are visible efforts to improve sight lines and playability. Some holes, like 13 still need work as the landing area is as likely to reward a good shot with a bounce into the woods as not. Finally, Billy Street the new pro brings energy and enthusiasm that is infectious. Billy is also a very good teacher and a fine player in his own right.

Received terrible customer service due to an unfortunate incident where a golf ball had hit my new…read morecar creating a significant dent. This Golf Course does not have a great layout for parking and I did not notice any warning to alert customers of balls flying over top into the parking lot. The only protection provided is their strategy to line up golf carts along side the green in the hopes that line of defense blocks errant shots. I initially brought it to the Pro Shop's attention and was advised to provide them with a copy of my Drivers License, the bill for the repaired damage to my vehicle, pictures and proof of damage along with a statement as to what happened. After multiple attempts through emails, phone calls to the owner and management team, they simply ignored my request for addressing the issue and paying the damage incurred to me. Essentially ghosting the situation that occurred and not informing their own insurance of the situation. I'm a 20 year veteran who works in the Golf Industry and quite frankly am appalled at the lack of customer service provided.

Recent servers for us included Gina, Ella, and Mylie who were all amazing. Last year one young lady (I'm sorry I don't remember her name now) saved my elderly mom's life with the Heimlich maneuver when my mom was choking! The food here is always delicious and if something isn't right, they'll go out if their way to fix it. The flowers everywhere are SO beautiful and well kept... a feast for the eyes! I used a hodgepodge of my dad's clubs and my uncle's. The TaylorMade driver was straight as an arrow and hit straight and long where I wanted it. The chipping in this thick New England grass (rough) was another story. I think TEE BOXES were in pretty good shape. The CARTS have nice navigations systems. The course is a bit dry for early October so clearly, they did not see enough rain this year. Some fairways were a little chewy/patchy. The GREENS were in very nice shape. I had a better day there excluding that they were as fast as California which I did not anticipate but should have given the drier conditions. This is the best short course in this area and well beyond with some legit challenging holes and a diverse layout with sloping hills. Nothing boring to speak of my friends. The CLUBHOUSE is beautiful, and dad says the food keeps getting better and better.

Had an awful experience. The music played between chukkers is so loud it is literally painful. We could not carry on a conversation - it was that loud. At least one family left and asked for their money back. The national anthem was played a an excruciating level. I saw several people putting their fingers in their ears. I and several other people asked them to turn the music down and they did for a minute or two then turned it right back up. Finally I got the owner's daughter to intervene and for the second half of the match the music was at a tolerable level. Frankly, I don't see why they need the music at all. this is a beautiful place and when the music was off it was delightful. I will not go back unless and until I am assured this will not happen again.

We found out it was from the Bahamas. They also list on their website that they add a natural antimicrobial to the sand and clean all the toys. There were seating areas for adults somewhere at the edge of the sandbox so that you can takeoff your shoes and put your toes in the sand. They also had a higher up counter that had chargers for you to watch over the sandbox. They do birthday parties as well in a birthday party room. We'll definitely go back.
