If you plan to spend absolute top dollar go here! They will charge you double what any other reputable place will charge you and the mark up on parts is over double their value! $400 for calipers, pads and rotors literally anywhere? Don't worry meadows will charge you $200 for one caliper. Then, double up on labor. They're amazing at making problems seem worse than they are, using tactics to force a sense of urgency. Everything sounds good with "deals" here and there, but overview shows a massive markup. Any place where labor is double the parts (that are already marked up) should raise questions immediately. And verify that the problems that are said by one place are said by other reputable places. Yes, a 10 day old apple on the counter tastes fresh when all you been given were rotten ones. Lesson for next time. Do better research and don't take them at their word. Good to see just how much Waterford has gone to shit and becoming more and more like Pontiac! read more

Everyone was super friendly and helpful from scheduling the appointment, checking in, and upon completion of work. The service was quick and I appreciated getting in the day I called. The cost was less than at the dealership and I was more satisfied. The re are snacks and beverages while you wait. My only suggestion for improvement would be more comfortable seating. Had brakes job completed on my car. They took time to thoroughly explain my estimate. They were not trying to rush my decision and offered me a ride home while the work was being completed. They showed me pics of how and why and proof of what the issue was.... I also had my oil Changed few months ago and overall they are now my go to Mechanic/ Automotive Repair Shop. This was my first time coming to Meadows, and I'll definitely be back whenever my vehicle needs service. Right from the start, with my initial phone call, the team was attentive and polite. We set an appointment and they fit me in pretty quickly. The facility is really clean and organized. They were able to fix an exhaust issue on my Dodge Ram for much less than I thought it would cost. Another issue required some investigating and follow-up, and for the follow-up I just stopped in and they took care of it promptly while I waited. Their waiting area is pretty nice, too :) I prefer to support small businesses and this family-run business is doing it right. read more

We have a 2002 Escape. As usual on one of these hot days the air conditioner stoped working. There were a few other issues that we needed to have looked at but just had not taken the time to do so. The owner was great in addressing our concerns and the repairs were PROMPTLY competed. in fact he put in a new air-conditioning compressor and did not like how it sounded so he replaced it again! We have used Meadows Automotive a few times for different repairs. These guys are just the best. So polite, always extremely honest with pricing, and always quick to get you in and out. I recently had a stabilizer bar replaced and they made my car feel brand new again. Super nice waiting room with refreshments and a kids area for those of us with little kids! I have been bringing mine and my wife and familys cars here for years now. Back when kyle and the gang were in their former shop i had a 2006 envoy that started shaking horribly. Kyle put it on a lift and found out the passenger front tire had a huge bubble in it. Not only did he not charge me for the work he got me a discount on a new tire and offered to follow me to the tire shop...which i did not have him do since it was 1 mile away. since then i have not let any other mechanic touch our vehicles. And nobody but kyle and his team will ever touch my challenger. You will not find a better mechanic in this or any other area. read more

They took my $1,000 but failed to repair my brakes and now say it's on me to get the parts. They don't warranty everything like their website says don't believe it my car has been there for 3 weeks no updates and no loaner car as they state. read more

Used them a few times and was relatively happy, unfortunately we had our brakes done on both vehicles only to have issues about 2 mos later on both vehicles -grinding sound, shaking when braking. I would say perhaps it's a coincidence but we also had a wheel bearing replaced on our SUV and we seem to be having issues with that now too. We had also called regarding a hitch install and they were supposed to call us back, it's been 4 weeks and we are still waiting on a return call. We will be taking our business elsewhere I guess. read more

My driver's door was jammed and wouldn't open from inside or outside. I took it to Meadows because we always go there. Was told it would be around $130. Required two parts that were over $200. A latch and a door handle. Tell me anywhere in the world where two small parts like that are that much money. The parts are $50. And estimated 2+ hrs of work for another $400 something. In total i was told i needed to pay over $800. But they'll gladly finance you! Yeah screw that . I took my car back and had my friend do it who is a legitimate mechanic. He got it open in half an hour with NO PARTS NEEDED. I feel like i was scammed because i am a woman. Even if that wasn't the case i was extremely overcharged for no reason and I'll never be back read more

I have to remove my two 5 star reviews... My husband inspected the brakes after i had them replaced and I had to return next day to the shop for additional fix, because parts were missing My invoice was incorrect..... NOBODY wears mask in the shop. I provided disposable mask for the young man who was driving me home. I disinfected the car after first and second repair. I called the owner with my mask concerns, left the message (Gabrielle took it). - nobody called me back. I will never com back again. My health is more important than my car. They have accommodated my busy schedule making sure I have transportation to and from, even so much as dropping my car off to me.
