This location used to be my go-to for tires, tire rotations, and oil changes since I bought my tires from Bell Tire. Unfortunately, not anymore. After hearing about bad experiences from friends, I recently had my own. I went to two different places -- one for an oil change and one for a tire rotation -- and both asked who had serviced my car last. The answer was Bell Tire. My oil had been overfilled by 2 quarts, which can cause serious damage. On top of that, my locking lug nuts were tightened so tight that a tire shop couldn't remove them -- I had to go to a mechanic. The mechanic even said an inexperienced person must have been working on my car, and that locking lugs should not be tightened as much as regular ones. What worries me most is that if I had a roadside emergency, I wouldn't have been able to change my own tire. Between my experience and others I've heard about, I no longer recommend this location. Thankfully, Roadrunner Oil Change, Warehouse Tire, and Mo-Tech Automotive fixed the issues, $100 later! read more

Belle tire First time coming here. Came in for a wheel alignment. Like most places it's a little dirty from the snow and salt. This place is not so busy. Hopefully their service is good too. I spent $4800.00 in two visits at the Dixie Hwy., Waterford location and during the last visit my vehicle was damaged when inside the building for repairs. It was obvious that the technician had hit the running board of my truck with the hoist pad which was in the raised position when the hoist arm was moved under my truck but it was conveyed to me by the manager that the running board would not support my 5500 pound truck?!? It was made my problem after photos and a return visit. Avoid this place like the PLAGUE!! read more

I brought a flat tire to this bell tire location and dropped it off to be repaired. They said I would have to leave it overnight, and I didn't hear back from them for days until I called them myself, they told me they had no record of having my tire and I prolly dropped it off at a different location. After arguing with the guy for 5 minutes on the phone, he "finds" my tire in the garage, and says it's ready to be picked up. When I pick it up they can't put it on for me so I load it back into my truck. I Get home to put it on, 4 days later mind you at this point, and the tire was still flat. read more

Shady outfit. Called to get a quote for 4 new tires for our Honda Pilot, was quoted ~$630 out the door. Requested they repair the mini-spare. Make my appointment, arrive on the agreed date and time. Setting up the work order, they ask if we want an alignment check "while we're at it" with no quote. Thinking this was part of the order, lo and behold, a mere $115 to "check" my alignment is on my bill. Never quoted. Not what I'd expect from a retailer I've spent THOUSANDS on tires and related work. And they had to be reminded after we showed up to pick up our truck to repair the mini spare. I went in to ask about getting new rear shocks on my truck. In the course of the conversation I asked if they price match with online companies for the cost of the shocks and they said no. When he gave me the quote, they upcharged $109 per shock over the cost of what they were online. In addition, wanted to charge me $244 for labor to install them, for less than one hour of work. A total cost of $660 for two rear shocks. I will never take another vehicle to belle tire with these type of charges. read more

The customer service was decent. The waiting time was good, nothing unexpected. The tire technicians are average. Although nothing major, expect to receive scratches on rims. And they will not guarantee this will not happen which is a unacceptable when there are alloy wheel machines available out there for proper tire removal and install. Before winter, we got winter wheels mounted and balanced onto my car. The summer wheels were supposedly bagged and given back to us. Once again, the shady POS workers at belle tire got us again. I got 3 of my OEM summer tires back, and one random tire that didn't even belong to us, nor would it fit my car. You would think that you don't NEED to check all of the bagged wheels you get back because you trust and assume that the company would be honest and return yours. At the beginning of this summer, we brought my sister's car up here to have her summer tires swapped onto her car. The workers at Belle Tire not only stole our canter caps, but had the audacity to blame it on us and claim that we never brought them in. Never again will I return to belle tire, and if you foolishly choose to get work done here, take pictures of your things, and triple check that you have all of your items back because the people that work here are sneaky, deceitful and absolute garbage. read more

We always bring our vehicles to Belle Tire, not just for tires - but for vehicle repair and maintenance. Everyone in the Waterford store on Dixie Highway are really friendly and helpful. I always feel that there is true value for the money we spend on maintaining our cars - and we own 5! JD is the manager, and not only has he treated us well but I've watched him with other customers while waiting for my vehicle and he's just as polite and helpful to them. This place is extremely slow and always tries to up sell services. You can go in for a simple tire change and wind up sitting for over an hour and an estimate for extra work (even with an appointment) I once sat for 3 hours for a tire change and had them run an estimate of $1400.00 worth of extra work. More recently, I made an appointment for 1 tire change. 1/2 hr. past my appointment time, I get an estimate for $700 (same stuff as last time but now 1/2 as much and of course " normally X amount of $ in labor but my guy said he'll do it for X")Of other work and they had not even started on the tire. I decline the extra service, my tire is done in 10 min. They pull my car out and another in, complete a 4 tire change on that car and I'm still waiting. Finally after 25 extra minutes I get called up to pay. They just parked my car out back and made me wait, perhaps my punishment for not accepting their estimate. This kind of long wait and extra work/charges, happens every visit. I only use Belle when I need work that day, because I know they'll have the tire in Stock, if I can wait, I'll go somewhere else and have the tire ordered, because places like AC tire get you in and out as quick as possible and don't try to steal your wallet. (My experience is not isolated, I've talked to others, especially women who get pressured or have scare tactics used to get them to buy the extras. "It's dangerous to leave it like this" "It's against the law for me to LET you drive it away like this" etc. Had a friend recently take her car in for 1 tire and they pushed her into over $500 in other stuff, because they made her feel scared and unsafe to leave without getting the extra stuff done.) I suggest you avoid this Belle if at all possible. If you can't, at least be aware, they're going to find SOMETHING else "wrong" with your vehicle and you will be there much longer than you expect. read more

I took my wife's 2008 Toyota Prius in for a Front End Alignment today. About 15 minutes later, one of the employees came into the waiting room and called my name. He told me that my car was finished and didn't need the alignment. No charge as no work was done. I believe most places would of went ahead and done the work even though it wasn't needed. I'm fairly new to the area and in the future, if I need any work done, Belle Tire will get my business. read more

I shopped around for 2 new Pirelli Cinturato P7s. Discount Tire had them in stock for $320 installed. I called the Belle Tire near me and they quoted me $380 installed. They, however, didn't have them in stock and it would take 3 days to get them. The lady also mentioned that the Waterford BT had them. I asked if they'd match the DT price and they said I'd need to bring in a quote from DT. The next day I got the quote from DT and went to the Waterford BT. They still had the P7s and I asked if they'd meet DT price. I gave the gentleman the quote and he said, "I'll do you even better, I'll set you up for $25 less. Whoa! Two new P7s for under $300 when the other BT quoted me almost $400. Of course they put the new P7s on the back and rotated the front tires. Driving home I notice a pull to the left. I called them the next day about it and they offered to look into it. Back at the Waterford BT I again explained that I had a pull and they looked up my order. They made an adjustment without any problem or an extra charge in only 25 minutes! The pull is gone and I'm very happy customer. read more

Alright, I DEFINITELY owe this place a solid 5-star review. The staff is beyond courteous and they all seem to genuinely enjoy what they do. I first went in because I had a screw in my brand new tire, which I bought from the dealer. They patched it for free! They said they do it to keep the return business. Well it surely worked because not even 3 weeks later, I noticed a vibration and a hard pull to the right. Thought it was my alignment, and figured I'd get a good deal at Belle Tire. Turns out, my two front tires were toast (I knew they were getting close, but I didn't realize how bad the inside wear was, with a belt shift as well). This is unfortunate because my Jeep likes to wear Pirellis, so they're not cheap. I told them I'd most likely be getting them from my dealer since I get a 15% employee discount. So he said "I can hook you up. We don't sell many of these, so I'll give them to you at cost." The price he gave me was over $100 cheaper than the price I paid for new tires a year and a half ago, even WITH my employee discount. Simply incredible. read more

Went in with a leaking valve stem, left with a bent rim. I knew the issue when I walked in. They made something more expensive happen. These guys are a scam. If you take your vehicle here you had better hawkeye them. They also over inflated my tire to 58 psi when specs only call for 30 actually trying to blow it out. Oh... And they offered to get the wheel fixed for the price of a brand new one... How nice. read more

Bought new tires about a month ago and woke up to find one tire flat. Filled it with air and my wife and I drove to Belle Tire to get it fixed. They got my car in immediately and we were on our way in no time (no charge!). While waiting, the manager (don't know his name) was extremely nice, offered us fresh coffee and we talked about college football (one of my favorite subjects). After some small confusion regarding a text that my tire was ready, Bell Tire got me in quickly. They fixed my truck tire and the mechanic that replaced the tire was very detailed and professional. He made sure the tire pressures correct, replaced my spare, replaced my jack in the correct place, and reset my electronics to read correct tire pressures. And all for no charge. You can't beat that. We had a tire that was leaking air. We took it to Belle Tire on Dixie in Waterford MI on Saturday and they supposedly fixed it. I have to transport my husband the Chemo and need a dependable car. Monday morning we get in the car and the tires nearly flat. We had to fill it three times just to get to the clinic nearly and hour away. After Chemo we drove to a nearby Belle Tire in Farmington Hills on Telegraph near 12 mile. They were closing in two hours and said they had stopped taking tire orders over an hour before. My husband was next to me in a wheelchair and we tried to explain we wouldn't make it home without help. I even asked if someone would help me change it to the spare but no one would help me. I left in tears not knowing how I was going to get him home. We had passed a Discount Tire store and went there. They were closing but took us in and fixed our tire, checked all the other tires to make sure they were safe and never charged us a cent. We were Belle Tire customers for 30 years, never again. read more

Had a very bad experience at this Belle Tire location. Everytime I go in there they always find something for them to fix for my car. I've went in a number of times and they always try to get me to fix this or fix that even though it doesn't need to be repaired. The last time i went in, I told them that my left back tire is giving me problems and they went ahead and ground down all the rims and after they made the rims so thin then they told me time to replace your rims. Before that i asked the other guy whats wrong with my car and he told me that he doesn't know because he was busy serving all the other customers. Overall bad service and rude staff that only want to take your money and they don't care about your car or making the customer happy. Don't go here if you care about your car or money. read more
