I absolutely love the flavors of the food. The goat is a little bit dry. But it's not as bad as some other places. The rice is actually packed with flavor. The plantains were yummy a little dry. Good thing this all comes with a yummy sauce. I can use the sauce for the fried goat, the rice and the plantains. The only downside to this plate comes with pickled veggies but they were rotten . I could not eat them. Another downside is that when you walk in the restaurant, it does smell weird, a little off...But I would absolutely come back here flavor is on point!

i've gotten delivery from this place a couple of times before, but never actually went in to pick up an order and my last visit there was probably going to be the last time. It was very chaotic and took very long time to get the food (I ordered online ahead of time and waited in line for 45 minutes to be attended to). And even though the food was seasoned well, I ordered the creole shrimp, and the shrimp didn't taste fresh at all, unfortunately. My boyfriend ordered the creole chicken which was a little dry but still tasty. It's just one of those experiences that I don't think I would want to experience again anytime soon.

We had a feast! To start, they give out this tasty pasta salad. Then we had 3 different protein dishes- fried goat, goat stew, and fried pork along with sides of black rice (a delicious mushroom pea rice) and plantains. The plantains were more like tostones rather than maduros. You don't really need an extra side of them, because the meat actually comes with plantains. The dishes also come with awesome spicy cabbage and carrots. To drink, thehave a varied fresh fruit juice selection. I'll definitely get one next time. Music is great, and there's an awesome community vibe.

I really enjoyed my food from La Perle. My favorite Haitian restaurant on this side of town closed…read moreso we decide to try a new spot. It didn't disappoint. The first thing that made me happy was grilled goat since many of the meats are typically fried. The grilled goat was fantastic. The flavor and the sauce were so good. The rice was also pretty good. The griot was soft and seasoned well. The rice was soft and flavorful. My other favorite part of the meal with the legume. It was so good that I went back to get more a few days later! The prices are a little high and the wait can be long, which is why it's a 4 and not a 5. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and we'll be back. I highly recommend if you're looking for good Haitian on this side of town.

This was disappointing to say the least. I wanted to support Haitian restaurants on Haitian Flag…read moreDay so I'm like, let me order from one of the most popular Haitian restaurants in Massachusetts. To be quite honest, the food was very subpar and lacked authentic Haitian flavor. To make matters worse, the quantity was disappointing as you can see in the photos attached. $24 plate of meatballs with only four burnt meatballs and overfilled rice that didn't even take authentic? Also, I ordered beef legume and it definitely had pork in it and the pork didn't taste good. The food was not properly secure so the sauce fell in the bag on the way to me via DoorDash. I would honestly say if you are craving Haitian food that tastes like your family made it, you might want to go somewhere else. If you are okay with a sort of revitalized Haitian cuisine, feel free to order from here.
