If you come from out of town it's $10 parking. If you live in Springville you get a free parking pass but you have to get it from the town hall. So obviously, both times, I have not been very close to City Center. However, I have been to City Center a few times in the last month and I am IMPRESSED with how much it is growing and expanding. I probably wouldn't have came to this park if it hadn't been for the farmer's market. I am in my early 20s and have no idea what to do at a park. Despite the farmer's market being very busy, there was still plenty of parking--I was quite impressed with the layout of the parking lot in particular. So I park my Jeep and head over. There were all kinds of vendors; food, handmade items, etc.. Then they had this massive play area for kids to enjoy. If you went a bit further, they also had a gazebo with tables. At the time of my visit, this was being occupied by some kind of reunion. It was a massive area so it is perfect for something like a reunion or party. They also did have some kind of splash area. Parks, especially ones with playgrounds, are not really targeted for my demographic--that being a single woman in her 20s with no children or even a dog. I wouldn't say this would be somewhere I would go out of my way for unless there is another fun event happening. I did enjoy seeing the cute dogs.

I've been to this park many times in the past year that it been open and today was a ton of fun!…read more We did part of my Family Reunion at the park today from 8:30am-5pm and the kids and adults were never bored! We had about 70 people attending and about 40 of them were kids ages 0-19. There was something fun for all ages! (Ok, to be honest the 2 month old didn't really say she had fun; but my 5 month old enjoyed laying on a blanket watching everyone around her so even the babies enjoyed it!) With it being a family reunion I had family in town from California, Arizona, and all around Utah and everyone was way impressed with all the amenities they had at this park! The families from Arizona were especially jealous; I guess where they live they don't have cool parks. We started off playing all over the park equipment and with us being there so early before the splash pad opened; we had the park to ourselves until 9:45am! Once the splash pad opened the kids transitioned to the water area and spent hours playing all over. We rented 2/3 of the large pavilion and were able to fit all of us easily under our part of the pavilion. If you need an outdoor area to gather lots of people; consider renting the pavilion! I think it was only like $50 (but I can't remember). We then had a big game of Kickball in their festival field area and then moved over towards the Pickleball courts where we had a Pickleball Tournament! We had teams of ages 12-61 playing so if you're looking for a mix between tennis and ping-pong: Pickleball is for you! Heads up: Bring your own equipment! We were prepared and had all we needed, but don't expect to rent out any equipment at the park. Also: Bring a canopy/tent or some type of shade! The pavilions are great; but if you want to get closer to the splash pad, bring your own shade! Overall: The day was amazing! One of my nephews has special needs and is in a wheelchair and he was able to ride on swings and other play equipment because they are "all needs accessible". I really liked that!

There were several picnic tables under a protective roof. The wind was horrible however that day. It was a bit chilly even though it was 75 degrees. The park has restrooms, a water fountain, and several things you can do, riding bikes, running, walking g, and floating the water as well as other things. It's a really pretty area with lots of trees and water that runs along the park. We had a great time and would highly recommend this park for a nice family time

If you want to come and take a breather and let some steam out, this is the place. There is a five-mile hike if you want to bike, skateboard, walk or run. The hike is amazing. Beautiful scenery. As we were walking we found this really awesome cave! Too scared to go inside though. As you are walking there is a nice creek on the side and picnic benches. Nice spot to chillax. There are bathrooms and also a playground for the kids. They have this cool train you can play on as well. The only thing I didn't see is a fire pit or grill to BBQ. There are a few other spots nearby that have these if you want.

Parking is plentiful and easy-peasy. Luckily there weren't any soccer teams playing on the soccer field we posted up at, so we were able to take up a lot of space. I liked how there were some hilly parts on the side of the field that gives my dog some more interesting sprints. The grass was nice and fluffy, so I laid down for a bit and watched the clouds go by. Lovely breeze and people-watchin'. FYI - this is where the paved Jordan River Parkway (trail) starts/ends. I hit a dead end when I biked here without the pup. Go West, and I promise there is plenty of paved road with beautiful views to keep you goin (I believe it goes for 40+miles!!) You follow the river and can look at the mountains while passing the plentiful trampolines in people's backyards. This will be a summer fave for me (and my pup).

I counted four (4!) full-sized soccer fields (with official-size goal posts), two fishing ponds, clean rest rooms, about 2.5 miles of perfect strolling along the Utah Lake Parkway trail, and easy access to the lake. North Lake isn't a playground park or really a picnic park. It's an outdoor sports park, and hiking park, and a great view park. And oh what park it is!

You will hike on a paved road for about 15-20 minutes, and then on your left there will be a dirt path to get to the Dripping Rock Falls. The breeze through the evergreen trees and the pampas grass in late summer/autumn is just lovely to listen to and the pines smell wonderful. There's almost no one that ever visits simultaneously so you're almost guaranteed a serene place to yourself. Come a few times a year to experience the garden a little differently every time and enjoy the various fragrant flowers throughout the season, learn a bit more about water conservation and Utah native gardening, and enjoy the wildlife from quail to squirrels to butterflies and bees -- I flinched most around the bees the first couple times visiting but I've stopped completely as they are very honed in on the task at hand . It's always such a peaceful visit. The only thing that would make it better would be if the road noise could completely disappear but that's the trade off for getting something so wonderful, completely for free, without having to drive far.
