The venue is a splurge but it was totally worth it for us. We did the whole weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun) and made the most of it with a welcome dinner Friday, Saturday wedding, and Sunday brunch. The venue is really beautiful with tons of greenery and flowers, it cuts down on the money and effort you need to put into decor. We got so many compliments on the venue from our guests. We primarily worked with the owner Deb and as it got close to the wedding, also with her new hire Abby. Deb knows weddings and she knows her venue inside and out so she is very chill to work with and makes sure to account for all the details. Communication was very fast and clear. Underrated but one thing I appreciate a ton is all our communications were in a single email chain so it was really easy to find. Abby coordinated with us day-of to cue us to walk down the aisle and otherwise they were seamlessly in the background. The vendor list we got was a little out of date with some being out of business or not having websites, but we picked a few vendors off the list so it was helpful. Having onsite lodging was great. The master bedroom was very comfrotable and it was nice to have our own bathroom. Most of the rest of our guests got Airbnbs (we blocked hotel rooms and offered a shuttle to Conway but no one took us up on it). Overall I would highly recommend Locke Farms Farm as a wedding venue!

There was a bar, we did trivia, and not to mention the jaw dropping views of the mountains in the distance. Super homey and warm vibe to everything here. Couldn't suggest this venue more!!

----- Concise Review…read more Wonderful wedding + reception ----- Longer Review We traveled to South Tamworth, New Hampshire, by way of Boston, MA and then North Conway, NH, for the wedding of our niece to her husband. The trip was brief - Thursday evening to Sunday, but filled with family and fun. Our niece and (now) nephew selected whiteface hollow for the wedding and reception. whiteface hollow - a fantastic barn + house + winery in South Tamworth, NH. The wedding ceremony was outside, in the field, under a large maple tree, and the reception was in the barn. The property has parking in an open space amid trees... the sky is visible but the trees also provide shading to keep the intense heat off the vehicles. The property has a gentle hillside, leading to the grape vines, with a beautiful view of the White Mountains off in the distance... the view was beautiful in the afternoon and phenomenal with that night's sunset! The owner shared that the barn is original wood - interior... the floors and walls are new boards created when they brought a saw mill onsite to cut the wood from trees on the property. The barn had plenty of room for the 18 tables for guests + a dance floor for all of us.. with space for food, and the bar downstairs, and two spaces upstairs (no walls, but balcony rails). Speaking of the bar... they served inside and also through a window to the outside... the blueberry lemonade is very tasty! The winery isn't producing yet but the building is there, and we enjoyed brunch the next morning - nice! And the painting of the property over the bar is wonderful artwork. The owner and her crew were great... so helpful; we were guests so we didn't have the stress, but we could see things were well planned and executed smoothly. Thank you, whiteface hollow, for such a wonderful wedding + reception for our niece and nephew! ----- ----- -----

Mulburn Inn Review September 25, 2026 * We have stayed at…read moremany Inns and B&Bs over the years in several countries; The Mulburn Inn is the absolute best of all of them. Why? For all the reasons you see on the website: the impeccable cleanliness, comfort and loveliness of the guest rooms, the elegance and style of the house and its history; the dedication to the comfort and pleasure of the guests, the homemade breakfasts, the location, the relaxed but elegant and welcoming vibe. But most of all, for us, what distinguishes The Mulburn Inn are the hosts, Dave and Karen. Dave had me at "Hello." I called to say we would be late, and he was simply wonderful; we were headed to theater up the road apiece and Dave was relaxed and kind and completely accommodating. Later we discovered Karen and Dave have set up their screened-in porch for their guests, with clean-burning propane fire tables filled with amber fire glass. Despite the chilly North Country climes, we were wonderfully warm. But if we needed more, they also had outdoor heat lamps, enabling us to spend hours hanging outside. It is bliss. Best of all? Dave and Karen hung out on the porch with us. I have never laughed so hard as I did at Dave's expert, hilarious storytelling. (Karen is the perfect foil, filling in the blanks with actual facts when needed.) And if you are really lucky, you will catch a glimpse of their two elderly Dachshunds who are the sweetest. Plus, if you are curious about the fascinating, star-studded history of The Mulburn Inn (formerly The Ivie Estate), just ask, and Dave will regale you with the best stories of its history! Karen's décor with the perfect style of country and cool top off the experience, as do the snacks they put out for night owls like my husband and me. There's much more to tell, but I'm trying to keep this shorter than novel length. We loved it so much, we made reservations to return 8 weeks later! And we hope to go back many more times, as Dave and Karen make the Mulburn Inn irresistible on every level. You're welcome!
