I swore I was never someone that would board my dogs until I found Kats 'N Dogs. A friend…read morerecommended her and since then, I can honestly say when my husband and I travel, we are excited for our dog child to go stay with "Aunt Kat" because of the care and love she has for animals. I truly feel that it's not just a business when you have the love for animals that Kat does. Working in human medicine I truly feel some things are a calling and I would say the level of detail and love Kats N' Dogs have for the clients is uncanny. I continuously recommend her and all of her services. Posted a pic of our dog next to her own dog to show that she truly cares for your dogs like they are her own!

My GP rescue mix, Jamuna who tends to be a bit anxious in new settings, loves going here. Kathryn is incredibly professional, kind, and has a natural ability to connect with dogs, especially those who are a little more sensitive. She took the time to get to know my dog's personality and comfort level, and it shows - she is relaxed, happy, and excited when we pull into the parking lot. I love seeing their photos in Instagram. She is very flexible and responsive to requests and queries. We really appreciate her! It gives me total peace of mind knowing my furry baby is in such good hands for both boarding and day care! If you're looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and professional day care for your furry family member, this is it. I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else!

After the terrible groom my partner was told to come back for a they would fix it for free. She scheduled the appointment pointing out that she wanted the complimentary service (see photo) and when I picked her up they told me it was roughly $125. I told them I had a free service and they saw that in the system but that's not what they did. I overheard the lady behind the counter whisper that we were willing to pay the difference even though it is their fault . At that point I was unwilling to pay but my partner was at work and had already paid the entire amount online so that I did not have to have any issues. They reached out to the owner and we were assured that she would reach out to us and fix it. My partner reached out to Jodi (the owner) and she did not respond. This was in February and it is now May. I waited to post this in hope that I wouldn't have to because they would make it right. I understand that the groomer needs to be paid because the work was completed but their mistake shouldn't have been my problem. Oh I forgot to mention how we came about the complimentary service. The original cut was HORRENDOUS (see photo) my partner wrote a review about it and they offered us a complimentary bath and tidy to take it down. She agreed and removed the review(shady). All I want is my partner's money back. This review did not need to be posted but I hate that fact that we were taken advantage of by this business.

My concern would be that my dog can catch something . They checked just for rabies vaccination. The groomer cut more hair than what I requested. She was nice though. Because it's a small place it got chaotic when multiple customers arrived at the same time . No parking available , people were double parked on the street.

Lucky Dog practices cageless grooming which I thought was interesting and quite kind to pets. Setting appointments is easy - I either call or text for appointments and they respond almost right away. The prices are reasonable too and they do a really good job grooming our dogs. Our dogs always look happy and relaxed after their appointments which says a lot about this business. Highly recommended!

I called this place to schedule a basic bath and nail trim for my two dogs -- nothing complicated…read more I was a professional dog groomer for 8 years, so I know exactly how this industry works. I usually groom my dogs myself, but I've been sick and unable to do it lately. I was hoping to find someone reliable to start handling their baths on a regular basis. I have back issues, which is why I stopped professionally grooming to begin with. The first thing they asked was if I'd been there before. I said no, I would be a new customer. Then they immediately asked what breed my dogs were. I told them the truth: they're purebred English Staffordshire Bull Terriers. The response? "Oh, you could've just said pit bulls -- it's okay." First of all, no -- they are not pit bulls. They are English Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Pitbulls and Staffordshire Bull Terriers are not the same breed. Right after that, I was told, "Well, we're not taking new clients anyway." Interesting. Because if that were true, wouldn't you have said that the moment I said I was a new customer? It's obvious what really happened -- you heard the breed and assumed they were pitbulls. This is classic breed discrimination. You judged my dogs without knowing anything about them. The truth is, they're two of the sweetest, most well-behaved, trained dogs you could ever meet. They've been getting groomed since they were tiny puppies and love being pampered. But because of your prejudice, you turned away two perfect clients. Call it what it is: dog racism and ignorance. If you're going to work in this field, at least educate yourself on breeds.
