They also let me know that since I brought my own shampoo, my total would be $13 instead of $15, which was a nice surprise. The place was really clean, and yes, it smells like dog, but that's kind of expected since it's a doggy daycare and boarding spot. The wash area was solid and did exactly what it needed to do. They had plenty of clean towels, plus shampoo and conditioner available if you need it, and a good assortment of grooming tools. Overall, it was convenient, affordable, and way easier than trying to do this at home.

It was one of the best decisions I've ever made for both Buzz and me! Buzz struggles with anxiety and reacts nervously when new people approach, especially on walks or in public places like restaurant patios. From our very first session, Betty made both of us feel comfortable and confident. She immediately recommended a no-pull harness that made a huge difference. Walking Buzz and his corgi brother, Phil, is finally fun again! I truly missed our morning walks, and it feels amazing to enjoy them again without constantly worrying about Buzz pulling away or Phil getting loose because my attention was elsewhere. What stood out most is that Betty doesn't just train dogs -- she trains their owners, too. She helped me learn how to communicate more clearly and understand what Buzz is feeling. Betty gave us exercises to build trust and confidence. He's already such a happy pup, but he lit up even more during each session, as you can see in his picture! If your employees don't know your policies, how are the customers supposed to know them? Put me in a difficult position with a traveling spouse and work commitments. I didn't care about the payment, I could have paid and made a reservation, if they had told me about it. Completely unreliable and unprofessional.

These guys are doing the best they can given what they've got. I'm currently fostering one of their…read moredogs, Sayso. Originally as a Weekend Warrior, but I decided to keep Sayso for a bit longer. I've never had a dog, but she's been manageable. She's housetrained and loves people and other dogs. I took her on a hike with some friends and she got along with everyone. She does have a case of kennel cough, so Lifeline has provided antibiotics, which I give her daily with her dinner. She's very sporty and energetic, and so needs regular walks and play. She will sit for treats and to put her harness and leash on for walks. We're currently working on her impulse control and teaching her "leave it". I'm hoping she finds her forever home! Daisy from Lifeline has been great about answering my questions and giving me the 411 on training techniques. Truly a great organization to foster with.

However, after the most recent service, I will never be returning. They have repeatedly shaved my dogs face citing her face "being matted." I conducted an experiment this time and made sure I regularly brushed her face and even the morning of, confirmed she was not matted. They shaved her again, told me I was lying when I explained I've been brushing her with a metal tooth comb to make sure she wasn't matted. I acknowledge it's easier to just shave a dogs face than it is to actually groom a dog, but for $150, I expect more than laziness. Further, they clearly do not provide water to the dogs, despite them being there for 7.5 hours. They are also never available via phone. Go elsewhere - even if you have to wait forever to get in. Good groomers are hard to find and you will not find one here.
