I wear six-gauge jewelry in my ears and have a place I go to inside the market. La Moda has a great selection and good prices. You can find almost anything throughout the swap meet from health herbs to exotic live snakes. There are a few food eateries as well. There is a small fee to enter and since I'm a Senior (over 60, not high school), it costs 50 cents. Fantastic Swap Meet is a good place to explore whether you're looking to buy something or not. There were a few vendors on the sidewalk selling homemade jewelry and other crafts, plus a Dj playing some good tunes! We came for the fresh produce. Once inside there were only about 5 vendors. 5 Star for the actual produce, but only 4 Stars because I was hoping for a larger selection. Was a bit disappointed, but glad I went and got to see what it was all about. I will definitely go back as I ate a nice lunch at home with all my fresh produce. Doesn't get much better then home grown, organic food from the earth! Check it out some Friday if you have the time, free parking and plenty of spaces.

The booths we did see were a dessert booth which had tiramisu samples and more. They also had pies and breads but I was too stuffed at the time to want desserts, so maybe next time I'll buy one. There was one selling honey and popcorn, samples galore! The honey was delicious. Chips and salsa were out as well but of course you mostly come for the produce. They had apples, grapes, oranges, lemons, avocados, carrots, zucchini, onions, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, garlic, string beans and so much more I can't even remember it all. The apples were AMAZING! The cherry tomatoes were so good too and I don't generally eat them alone. Everything we got was excellent and full of so much flavor. Everything beat what the grocery stores deliver any day.
