Few months new open boba and cafe. Love the interior design. It's fresh, simple and clean. There a stage for singing I suppose that will great for night weekend activities or party events. Order in the counter then find your seat. Service was great. It's semi self service as the water is ready next to utensils for costumer to get it them self. Now foods are delicious. I order beef vermicelli however the beef is similar to the way Korean beef is normally cooked it's more in the sweeter side. Beef was tender and the fish sauce is the way I like it with chopped garlics and peppers. Bun Bo que is good and chili oil is really spicy. Ban beos are delicious but a bit smaller and I think they could live the plates in the tray instead to put individual plates on the table. Now drink my husband have coffee matcha was taste good and a bit different. I have oolong com quay and I'm so loving this. It's fresh refreshing drink especially for summer. Great food & drinks. Their menu offer a little bit of everything from drinks, food & sweets. Everything we ordered was delicious. The banh mi was so airy crunchy packed with flavors. Hubby had tried their sugarcane kumquat and he was happy with it, I had biscoff crunch latte & that was delicious. Not sure if it's a couple owned or family run, but Frank who we met at the time was super nice & helpful. You have the option to order up front or the kiosk station right next to the register. He was attentive and checked up on us every now & then. Place is beautifully decorated with lots of natural lighting, feel so open, clean and not overly crowded with seatings & tables. I had such a great experience here! My sister and cousins try to meet once a month at a new place where we have not all tried together yet. My cousin picked this place to meet. It was a little hidden and on the side of town I'm usually not at. So glad she recommended this place. The cafe was so cute and definitely had good photo opportunities. We ordered the traditional banh mi, grilled pork banh mi, vermicelli noodle plate, rice plate, fish sauce chicken wings, and bulgogi fries also ordered another one to go for my family to try! Everything had so much flavor and was not overwhelming. I would say that the fish sauce wings would have been perfect with a side of white rice. Their drinks were really good too. I loved that I was able to customize the sweetness level, and 50% was perfect for me. I ordered the Lotus Oolong fruit tea and a coco mango smoothie to go. Both were just so refreshing. They also have karaoke, lots of seating, and adorable backdrops for pictures. I noticed they had assorted desserts too that looked amazing, so I'll definitely be trying those next time. The owners were extremely friendly and the whole place was very clean and welcoming. Would definitely recommend for a fun food and drink spot! We had boba here on a weekend afternoon and this place is actually a very spacious and clean place to study and do work. We ordered our drinks which were quite tasty and made well, not too sweet. However the drinks were a little on the pricier side but still worth it to us given the nice ambiance. read more

First timer, I got the Saigon cold cut sandwich. It was delicious and freshly made to order. However you have to eat it within 15-20 min once received or the sandwich sauce makes the bread soggy. Banh mi bread is usually toasted and crunchy but their specialty sauce does spread over the bread causing it to become mushy within minutes. Other than that I will order again! I appreciate peaceful environments, and the Highlands is one of them! This uniquely designed café, looks out at Rotary West Park, located at Gettysburg and First. It's 'around' the FRESNO AG building (north) near the Dollar General. A place to relax, during the day. DAYTIME hours have low playing instrumental music, clean, open seating and open until 10 PM on Friday and Saturday nights. Looks like it is set up for karaoke for the evening, so I expect a totally different atmosphere then. I tried their Biscoff Caramel milk tea and 50% sugar was plenty sweet for me! I thought it was delicious!Next time, I would get less ice in order to have more 'tea'. They just opened last week. Saw they had Labubu jello and knew I needed to stop by. Inside is very clean, super spacious. They even have a karaoke stage/area. This place would be great on a weekend night. Bring a couple friends, sing your heart out. Whilst eating and drinking boba. Staff was nice. Nothing out of the usual. Very helpful and sweet. Hue banh mi: I've never seen this on any menu in Fresno. It's stir fried pork belly? Or stewed pork belly. Supppppperrrrr flavorful. But the skin on the pork belly was chewy. Not going to lie this banh was so good. They even included Vietnamese coriander. My favorite herb. No one ever does that. Pate was good. The pickled daikon and carrots were sweet and tangy, bigger chunks so you get a nice fresh crunch in your banh mi. If it weren't for the chewiness of the pork belly I'd give this a perfect score. (4.5/5) Popcorn chicken: they don't have an appetizer version of this. You have to get this as a meal. With garlic noodles or fries. I was expecting the popcorn chicken to be battered, like other boba spots. But this was lightly battered. It was good. Very well seasoned. The garlic noodles were also good. Very garlicky (4.5/5) Tiramisu boba: the drink was delicious. sweet, creamy. The boba was also good in flavor like brown sugar flavored but it was on the harder side. I do wish it was softer and chewy. It would've been perfect. (3/5) Overall I'd definitely come back. They're still in there grand opening phase they do have some things to work out. But that banh mi is a winner. It's something so different from what we usually have. But they need to get rid of the skin on it and it'll be perfect. read more

The atmosphere is clean and fresh. I was supprised by how spacious the shop was and by how much seating there was. I ordered the royal tea with boba and lychee jelly at 50% sweetness. I highly recommend Highlands because it's a really nice place to relax and their drinks are really good! I got the banana whipped matcha latte and it was so good even though I got it right before closing. The workers were really nice and kind so that's a plus for me. The owners were so rude and didn't want to let my client use the bathroom even though he was offering to pay. My special needs client who uses a walker for assistance needed to use the bathroom. They looked at us with disgust and wanted my client to walk all the way over to the parks bathroom even though he was a paying customer and clearly hard of walking. They finally accepted his money to buy a drink and let him use the bath room. The wife just looked at me the whole time instead of making my clients drink.
