We called, put in our order and later arrived to this bustling hole in the wall - like this place was PACKED solid. It seems to be THE place for locals (we only saw Asian diners). The menu is expansive with a vegetarian section, prices are very reasonable and everyone loved their food. The only gripe was they gave me the wrong item for what I ordered (which I was really looking forward to but instead had to eat something else I wasn't that jazzed on). Hands down the best pho in town! This has always been my husband's and my favorite place to eat pho. The broth is consistently flavorful, and the portions are always generous. The coconut slush is my favorite! I haven't found another place that makes it as well as they do. I also love their bambu favorite drink. The only issue I've experienced is with the drink service. A few times, my husband and I have ordered drinks, but they didn't arrive until we had almost finished our meal. The broth was excellent: light on the star anise with a deep, beef-forward flavor, which I really enjoyed. Portions were generous, with plenty of meat included. The only slight letdown was the oxtail, which wasn't as fresh or as tender as expected, it didn't quite have that "melts off the bone" texture. I've been here a couple times. It does get busy at times. Service has been quick. They have robots that bring the food to your table and a server will put the food on the table for you. All the condiments, silverware, and cups with water are on the table. Things I've tried: - grilled pork and shrimp vermicelli bowl (3/5): not my favorite, flavor was lacking, would not get this here again - oxtail pho (4/5): the broth is on the sweeter side, I feel like there could've been more oxtail given it is an oxtail pho, but overall good flavor, and happily ate it all up - spring rolls (4/5): the rolls themselves are pretty good, but the sauce was not my favorite, I'm definitely picky about the peanut sauce that comes with spring rolls and there was just something missing with theirs I love that they have bambú here too! Okay so is it every pho restaurant that is slippery? Lol. I was slipping and sliding again. I suggest maybe matte floors or non-slip grip stickers. Anywho, this location is further up north and not as crowded. My baby really enjoyed the egg rolls and I had the beef pho. I wish they'd have an option for a small pho as I could not even finish it. I accidentally ordered banh mi when I wanted sizzling steak (Bo ne) one of the servers said he cannot change it for me, but the lady server said she can replace it for me. They do not k owbthe laws and tried to make us sit on the patio. It's a cold day and we wanted to be inside. Per the ADA businesses are not allowed ro discriminate against us by isolating us. They eventually offered a seat by the door. Usually, we would have just left because traditionally seats by the door are just as bad as being on a cold patio. But, we were meeting someone on a time constraint and there is a foyer that buffered the cold. Allllll of that said..the server was nice enough and took our orders. I loved the grilled pork Banh mi! I was going to be at this shopping center on 8/8/24 for a Yelp sweet perk. I noticed Nho Kitchen is nearby so I phoned in an order when I left the office. I don't pass up a Banh mi or spring rolls. I stepped into a clean brightly lit restaurant tucked in from the main shopping strip when I arrived. The ordering counter is within sight as you enter so no confusion on where to go. I was greeted and then paid for my order which was already ready. It was close to 1:30 and I was hungry so I took a bite of my grilled pork sandwich. OMG I haven't had a banh mi this good in fresno. The meat was delicious, not too saucy, lots of veggies and greens. The shrimp spring rolls were almost as good. The shrimp were sliced in half but they were plump. The spring rolls also had noodles, cilantro, pickled veg and cucumber. I think there was pate in the sandwich but it wasn't a strong flavor - I like pate but a lot of places, I don't know, it's too sweet or something and I don't like it. Also these had an herb or something that had a licorice flavor. So good. I can't wait to come back to try more stuff. I noticed they have those robot carts that bring your food. Love those haha. Stumbled upon this place while looking for a new pho restaurant. We were not disappointed. The place was full! Service was quick and friendly. Everything about this restaurant felt authentic.
