Last time I wrote a review for here I complained that the banh mi was skimpy on the meat. This time around it seems packed. Their new flavor for the banhmi was delicious. I'd definitely get that again. Still not the biggest fan on the bread but it's okay. Real star is that shaking beef. Really good. The beef was seasoned well. The garlic noodles were supperrrrrr garlicky. I like that. I'd probably get a side of rice next time but yeah. I'm definitely coming back for that alone. Really good. read more

I love coming to this restaurant every time I am craving fur or a sandwich and if I'm in the area or if I am tired from shopping nearby. The workers here at this restaurant are always so uplifting and upbeat. Everyone seems so nice and calm and friendly although many of them have an accent I can still pretty much understand them while they take my order. Anyways, they're far is amazing and don't forget to order their Boba smoothies and also the front has amazing desserts. That are also very delicious if you have a sweet tooth. My favorite seat in that area would be the round booth towards the back of the restaurant. I just like to feel like I'm in an antique oldies Chinese restaurant. read more

Decided to enjoy a nice bowl of Pho. I ordered the Beef Combination Pho which was a good size. The Pho was very delicious and flavorful. They have a good selection of sauces to add and I specifically like their chili pasta sauce. I decided to take a milk tea home for dessert and it hit the spot. The staff were very friendly and tentative. The ambiance was nice and relaxed and they have TVs playing either the news or sports channel. read more

Whenever I'm in Fresno's Mission Village shopping center, I love the aroma that wafts out of this restaurant. However, when my mom and I finally tried it, we were sorely disappointed! The noodles and vegetables were not bad, but the meat just didn't taste right. The blended strawberry boba drink was pretty good but the black bobas themselves didn't do much for me. By the time we left, the restaurant started doing brisk business. Maybe it was just an off day, but I don't plan on finding out. read more

I'm pretty easy when it comes to Pho. If it's good, it's good. It's gotta be noticeably bad for me to complain about Pho. Huong Lan has got their Pho down. I love that there are different meat combo options (I get the Brisket and Flank), and also size options. They now have a 'mini' option which is what I get if I plan on getting their Bahn Mi as well. Mmm!!! So far... of all the places I've tried in Fresno... they still hold the title for the best Sandwiches, in my opinion. There's still a few places I have yet to try... but as of now-- they're #1. I loveee their Combo sandwich, #12. EXTRA PÂTÉ for me, pleaseeeee! Yum! The meats, the veggies, the baguette... perfection. If you're not feeling Pho or Banh Mi, the Vermicelli bowls are good and I also sometimes (always) crave the Banh Cuon, but hardly ever order it. If we ever decide on appetizers?... it's usually the Shrimp Spring Rolls. Light and refreshing. The Pork Ball ones are good too but I prefer them without that greasy, fried eggroll wrap or whatever it is they throw in there. For spice, just add Sriracha to your peanut sauce... bomb. For beverages, I usually stick to water but occasionally get the Coconut Juice, iced, no boba. So refreshingly good. I enjoy their Iced Coffee as well (the strong stuff). As for service, if they're not super busy, you'll be seated immediately and if you're ready (which we usually are), we order right away... and get our food right away. They're pretty attentive, but if not... it's not hard to get someone's attention. There's always someone walking around either serving or bussing. Once you're done, pay up front (they sell pre-packaged items as well in front), and be on your big back way! read more

I like me some banh mi and this place had the Vietnamese sandwiches. I have eaten here before in San Jose, but now I'm in Fresno again because of some personal family business. I had the shredded chicken banh mi and for its price tag, it was filling and tasty. It was decent;however, I have had better banh in elsewhere, not going to lie, but it was standard and had a wonderful texture and bite to it from what I remember. I also got the vermicelli noodle dish with egg rolls and chicken meat. The chicken was very tasty and fresh. It was cut with the bones in. The egg rolls were fried and also good. The sauce put into the bowl was decadent and the portion size was great. Little pricey for the quantity and quality but overall I enjoyed eating the bowl and the sandwich. The service was friendly, but also fast and interior was calm and comforting. As the title says, it is cozy and delightful as I expected. The seats were arranged nicely and all seats were comfortable and in good locations. Overall, I enjoyed the food and although it wasn't the best Vietnamese food I have had, the experience, comfort and convenience had me happy. read more

I went in to order a couple Vietnamese sandwiches. They have a big selection of sandwiches. I get the #12 combo sandwich. It's a great sandwich for the price compared to the other bahn mi sandwich places. I also got a pandan waffle. It was not very good. I've had them before but this one was just very dense and chewy. Not like fluffy and chewy like I've had before. The inside of the restaurant is very dark and cleanliness is a little questionable but most good local restaurants kinda are? The wait time is okay. It was 10 mins for 2 of the same sandwich. Love coming for to-go. Probably won't dine in. read more

I ordered a bbq pork bahn mi and shredded pork spring rolls. My sandwich was a solid three stars: there was a good amount of meat, only pickled daikon radish (I'm used to also having pickled carrots), good amount of mayo (I don't like a lot). My first bite wasn't great; I thought it was the late but on closer look, I don't think three was any pate. The rest of my sandwich was good. The spring rolls were disappointing, though - just lettuce noodles and the pork. I regretted getting the shredded pork but they still would have been plain and boring. My food came out quick and service was prompt and friendly but the restaurant didn't smell or look clean. I doubt I'll be back. read more

Omg. This is the last time I will ever come here. It is so dirty. If they can't keep the dining area clean, imagine the kitchen! No one greets you and they take a long time getting your menu, drinks, food.... My daughter's pho came out in 15 mins, my vermicelli bowl came out in 20 mins and my husband's rib/rice dish came out in 45-50 mins! The grilled pork and eggroll was nasty and it had a weird smell to it. Noodles were a little hard. The ribs were really fatty. If you are looking for Vietnamese food, do not come here. This was my third time coming, but this day definitely made a good impression. I was really hungry and tired from the gym, and just wanted to sit and eat some pho with my friend, I found my self disillusioned at the fact that they where only doing take out, and when they asked what I wanted and I let them know that I just wanted to sit down and eat some pho with my friend since we live kind of far from each other, the guy behind the counter was really nice and thoughtful he allowed me an my friend to still sit down and eat even though it was 20 mins till closing, I also noticed they let a nurse also sit down and eat right after us. I found this place very nice and thoughtful of their clients needs, even the guy cleaning the tables helped me and was very nice about getting me extra bean sprouts. Ordered delivery spring rolls and pho last night and it was great. Excellent spring rolls. Rolled perfectly. Ratio of noodles, shrimp, pork and lettuce was spot on. Peanut dipping sauce had crushed peanuts on top. Those little details are appreciated. It was a little too sweet for my tastes but still very good. Each roll came individually wrapped so they weren't stuck together. I've never had a place do that. Very nice. The pho broth was had a tad to much warming spices for me but once I added a squeeze of lime and the various sauces provided it was great. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again in the future. I usually come to this place for pho in Fresno/Clovis area. I do really like the pho, which usually come out in less than 10 minutes. For pho, my usual is Rare Steak, Flank And Tendon, but the other versions of this are also good. I also like getting banh min to-go. Service is overall pretty fast, and they come by to check on you a couple times during your meal. It's also usually pretty busy there, but I haven't had to wait for a seat yet. I only give 3 stars, because I've attempted to order Bun Bo Hue a few times, but they have told me each time that they're out of the noodles. read more

My partner ended up making it there on time, 15 minutes before closing to order 3 #12 sandwiches, all with extra butter and pate. They charged for extra butter and pate but it didn't feel like they put any extra. Under $30 for all 3 so not too bad but didn't out enough butter and pate for charging extra fee. Their pho is one of the best in town. They also have great banh mi sandwiches. Honestly everything on their menu is great! You definitely get a lot of food for what you order. If you are in the area, you should definitely try them out! Their service is good, and they seat you pretty quickly. The only thing to note is that when you are done eating, you pay up front instead of paying at the table. read more

The pho is great, and the vermicelli bowls are tasty, but the standout is definitely the banh mi. Their beverages like the Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai iced tea are wonderful too. The restaurant is very casual and all the staff are very nice. The pho comes out almost as soon as you order it, but the banh mi takes a few minutes to come to the table as they are made to order. Everything is brought out as it is ready, so if you order a variety of things, be aware it won't come all at once. read more
