Overall: 4 At the time we were there ordering, it was very warm and the store had multiple fans running to help keep the place cooler. Not a great looking space at the moment it's likely due to them having just opened is what I heard. Cool little place. They had a huge fan running to circulate air--my guess is based on another's review is that AC don't work? They had water and utensils station set for customers to grab and go. There are counter space along window for possible stand and wait area or barstool seating. Tables mainly seat 4 ppl with one seating 6. Didn't use the RR to tell you anything about it. Music playing loudly competing with fan. Simple and clean decor. Food- was okay. Nothing that stood out. Typically short grain white rice under grilled chicken. Sauce and salad dressing on the side was a plus! But, chicken wasn't as tender as I had expected. It wasn't hard, but it wasn't perfect if you know what I mean. Dressing for salad was good, hint of sweet from the sugar. Sriracha, soy sauce, and sweet chili were all packaged sauces added to our order. Teriyaki is always a sweet sauce so if you like it, you'll like it. It's not my go to or usual though. It's a bit sweeter than my usual. Again, it's okay to me on flavor, texture etc. For a plate, you get to choose protein and then if you want rice or greens under it. There's other options for under it like fried rice and noodles, but we didn't try. All plates are 13.45 except for shrimp and beef which are 1 more dollar. They have appetizers, soda cans (no fountain), and boba drinks! We tried the mango butterfly and matcha latte. Mango butterfly was alright, nothing but sweet mango syrup flavored watered down tea with added mixed jelly fruit from a can. I know canned jelly flavor and this was what it was. My matcha latte was literally a matcha plus milk plus boba with nothing to sweeten it. Except, the boba are sweet. It was a good choice if you like matcha latte in general. Cashier was pretty nice and friendly. Asked if we had questions and looked off when I had the "tip" screen selection to make. As we are, the workers were all in the back of the food area--I couldn't see them from where I sat---assume they are prepping towards the back? Overall, for 2 plates of chicken teriyaki, panko shrimp, mango butterfly drink, and matcha latte with boba drink, my damage came out to 51.27. price was okay, but my other teriyaki joints beats this one by cost and taste both! We ordered to go because it felt over 100 degrees in the restaurant (not exaggerating). We ordered two teriyaki chicken bowls and a beef bowl. The sauce was spilled all over the inside of the bag and everything was a dripping mess. No utensils. Because the sauce spilled, the rice was floating and way drowning in sauce. Sadly the ambience was killed by the hot temperature in the building. The food was decent at best. Sadly won't be back. read more

Ordered the crispy fried chicken,fried rice,6 piece shrimp, and a milk tea with boba. Came to around $30. Food is pretty solid if you want something quick. Place is still pretty new so the ambiance is not quite there in my opinion, but it was clean. Service was really nice. read more

I had the teriyaki chicken, which is their signature dish. It was average.. nothing special. They did not have anything set up to enjoy your food in the restaurant. Everything was to go, which is suspicious for me. How come we can't eat your food at your establishment? The cashier was fairly knowledgeable of the preparations for the dishes, which brought a little more comfort. I couldn't see how their food was prepped, but I watched the cashier make my Boba, which is decent and the cook view was blocked. I could not see what he was doing. The place is brand spanking new! It was so clean and the staff was so friendly. The food takes awhile to make which is totally fine and that how you know it's gonna be good. They had so many options and lots of different drinks to choose from. The prices are quite high but as they say you get what you pay for. read more

New place and lived the fact they are local and according to the signs most of all the stuff comes local as well. Inside nicely remodeled spot in an older shopping center in Clovis. It was very clean and while simple and modern vibe. Service was excellent and the employee working the counter was super friendly and answered all my questions. I am picky about my Teriyaki and this spot hit! Got a combo with Teriyaki chicken, pot stickers and salad all for around $20. The option is pretty big and will be lunch tomorrow. All in all great new spot and I hope anyone reading this gives them a try. read more

Yes , the air conditioning wasn't functioning, but I came here to eat! Crispy fried chicken was perfect - juicy and crisp. Lots of pieces of chicken . White rice was as expected so no big surprise. The potstickers were perfect . Side salad was a nice touch . I opted for a side of spicy mayo . $20 even combo with extra spicy mayo. Only downside - no foundation drinks but they offer water . OH MY! Excellent teriaki in Clovis!!! Got the Chicken Teriaki, Katsu Chicken- sauce on the side, and order of potstickers. One was as good as the others. My experience at other teriaki places is the lack of grill marks(grill or flat top) which leads to lack of flavor. Not so at Teriaki Time. Every piece was perfectly grilled but somehow stayed moist. Sauce drizzle was minimal but adequate. The Katsu was excellent both sauce free and dipped in its sauce. Potstickers were on the small side but packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Careful eating them, I may have dripped down the front of my shirt sneaking one in the car. Prices are reasonable(especially RN) and portion are beyond generous. The bag with 2 meals and potstickers was hefty. The only thing I miss is a macaroni salad and tempura vegetables. YES, I know its not Hawaiian food but is was just as good as any road side teriaki truck in Hawaii. read more

Drove by and saw this spot and thought to myself I'd love to support local businesses. The options offered were fairy simple. Wait time wasn't too bad, it was fairly quick. Place looked nice and clean. My constructive review would be that the meal I had ordered was pretty decent. The flavor for the shrimp was solid. The fried rice however wasn't what I expected, it didn't really have much flavor. I'm just used to fried rice having more of that "fried rice" flavor to which this tasted pretty plain considering it was like a $2 charge. The eggrolls were disappointing to me. Not really what I expected appearance wise. Almost looked like what you'd get from a gas station for hot foods. I ordered the chicken option but oddly enough I tasted mostly vegetables. I would think it would be fair to specify on the menu display for how many pieces of eggrolls you'd get for $5. However, if you're around the area and looking for something that is quick and like minimal flavors depending on your diet. This place will be mostly for you in terms of healthier preferences. It just wasn't what I expected in terms of flavor under a Asian establishment when it came to the fried rice and eggrolls. I want to see this business win. Amazing! We have been wanting to try this place for a while and finally we did! First, the location. It's right next to Planet Fitness. Perfect for your macros right after a heavy lift! The prices you can't beat. We hit every teriyaki place in Fresno and Clovis. We love some meat and white rice w veggies after a workout. It's the perfect date night. Second, the speed of service. They served us right away and food was served fast. Third, the serving was HUGE! I'm an eater for sure and loved the portion size. Fourth, the sauce Nothing like a good teriyaki sauce. They had this hot sauce past that was and not in a hot way. Like the perfect flavor and it was fire! Lastly, the cucumber water. It was so refreshing and added a little love to all the goodness.
