After a few weeks I called on the status and was told I would get a call back by noon of that day with an update. No call. I called them and I was told that the part would be ready to go the following week on Tuesday. I called Tuesday morning at 10:50 AM; the part was supposed to be ready and I was told the part was not ready. I was not given a new time. I told the customer service representative that I needed to talk to the gunsmith. After a 3 minute wait, the store owner got on the phone and explained his gunsmith quit and when I pressed him about my part, he looked around and it was obvious it was the first time he looked at it since he signed it into his store inventory 3 weeks prior. The owner gave me some sort of BS response and said he would get to it. I told him I needed a time/date it would be ready. It is supposed to be ready tomorrow. We will see. The owner did say that he could not get to it today and if I wanted to take somewhere else I could. That was very nice of the owner to make that offer considering he held my firearm part for 3 weeks to allow it to collect dust and be forgotten. This so far has been one of the most unprofessional businesses I have ever had the unfortunate luck to experience in Hendersonville, NC. I was lied too on several occasions and there was zero follow-up with the customer. If you have a gunsmith need, I would highly suggest taking your business to another company.

A testament of their dedication (and maybe the band quality). After having the watch a couple weeks, I accidentally shattered the crystal. So sad. I looked at a few options, but a lot of them you needed to ship in the watch and they couldn't tell you if they could even fix it before seeing it. Also, a lot of those shipping places starting at $70 anyway. It was coach. I took it to the coach shop, but they also did not fix that. With that in mind, I went back to where she had it fixed. The people working in there were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. They were upfront about the cost and let me know the waiting time. One of them makes their own jewelry and it's super beautiful. Luckily, the watch took less time than the maximum amount I would be waiting, but I was fine either way. They called and I went and picked it up today. The two humans were working and I can tell they truly want to help and enjoy their job. The Crystal was a bit particular but it looks just like new. The cost was $80 with tax which I found very fair as they replaced the battery as well. Wonderful establishment with great employees who are professional and approachable. Recommend it for sure.

The price at first wasn't bad but then I checked for it online and it was a whopping $150 less and brand new online versus $900 at this store in Asheville. They explained the process of making knives to us, and were able to give suggestions on which knives would be best for kitchen tasks (this knife for cutting meat, this knife for vegetables, etc.) Hearing the excitement in their voices and watching their eyes light up while explaining the processes to us truly makes the experience that much better, as it made us lock in and engage in fruitful conversation with them. They were quick to respond by text, saying they were able to sharpen the machete that day. They're located smack downtown in Asheville on a side street (Eagle St) just off Biltmore Avenue. Parking was tight, but I was able to pop in, greeted by two very affable, friendly and welcoming employees (I assume they were owners, since they were so willing to take care of my job). The gentleman with whom I had been texting told me he'd have it ready in about 30 minutes and suggested I grab a cup of coffee and come back. The job was done excellently, and the young woman at the counter checked me out in no time. I live in Greensboro, about 2.5 hours from Asheville, and I had been unable to find any hardware store or other business who could take on the job, so this was a great place to get the job done (I was going to be in Asheville anyway, so I didn't make the trip just to get the machete sharpened). I enthusiastically recommend this local business. They have a very upscale operation and know how to take care of customers, plus they know their knives!

This was a unique and challenging project and I was really nervous about the outcome given the experience I had just had. I trusted this company to return my tables to a showroom condition and they completely came through!
