I know I presented some challenges for Olga but she was professional and gentle. The end result was great.

I saw Garrett Barr for my hair a couple of times out of this salon. While he admittedly did a good job with the color technique, he completely missed a section in the back of my hair and did a weird chunk of color that looks out of place (picture included). The problem is, he travels between Spokane & LA (where he now lives). He was supposed to fix it the next time he was in town, a month later, but cancelled the day of. Now I am left with this terrible hair, and will have to go somewhere else to have it fixed. He never once apologized or even seemed to feel bad. I paid over $300 for my cut/color. This unprofessionalism is unacceptable. Also, both separate occasions I had my hair washed in the bowls, my back got soaked. Everyone agreed it was because the bowls sucked. Well, having a wet back also sucked, so maybe they should invest in new bowls. read more

Had a gel manicure done by Olga Yurkova at salon Vida yesterday . Very very bad job .. messy , she found her my cuticle and it bled like holy hell .. I could not believe how she left my nails .. the worst job I've ever had .. . I've attached photos.. I was speechless that she left me w this bad of a manicure seeming as she had been in that business some 20 odd years and works in a beautiful salon .. she's clearly disinterested In the quality of her work .. I don't get it .. and I never write bad reviews even when i should .. this was so bad I had to .. it was a waste of time and money and painful also . read more

I love when I get to write such positive reviews! I just received the BEST massage from Andrea at the Vida Spa. First off, the spa is lovely and the front desk girl is super sweet. I felt soothed just walking in with the sounds and smells of the spa. Andrea is a new masseuse to the spa..and boy are they lucky! I get massages on a weekly basis and know a good masseuse, and Andrea is really top notch! During the massage I remember thinking "I hope she gets this spot," and seconds later she would be working out that very knot. it happened so many times I swear she's psychic! Andrea's technique is flawless, her pressure was perfect (I like deep tissue massage) and I felt so amazingly gooey at the end of my hour. If I lived in Spokane or close by I'd be on her table weekly. Unfortunately for her she did such a good job, I lost the ability to do math and just threw money at the receptionist. I later Realized that I should've tipped her a bit more...so if you're reading this review and get Andrea as your masseuse...yer super lucky..and please tip her a few extra bucks for me. (I'll do the same for my next masseuse...since this probably happens a lot to the really good masseuse's... You walk out gooey and forget how to do math!) read more

I got a cut and color today and I love it. The place is gorgeous and its huge with alot more to offer than hair, like massage, yoga eyelash exstentions and more. What a great find, ask for Jenn or Claire and you won't be disappointed. read more

I am so very, very sated. Andrea was my masseuse, and that lady kicks butt! She started off by talking to me about what to expect and asking about my preferences and problem areas. Then I got to get onto the HEATED table. (Can I get a hell yea?) And so began my journey. She wrapped my feet in warm towels, which felt oh-so-good on my frozen feet. She mentioned having a history working with doctors, doing therapy and such. That must have contributed to her crazy awesome awareness of all the things my achy muscles needed. She found all my knots and worked them out like a champ. Then came some hot rocks. Hot rocks. Hot rocks. Hot rocks. Also amazing. Overall the massage was spectacular. Just what I needed. The masseuse, Andrea, is a welcome addition to Spokane in my book. Plus, she keeps here massage oil in a little holster. Which kinda makes her like the cowboy of massage. I cannot truly do this experience justice with words. Go see Andrea, and you will know what I am talking about. PS. This was my first visit to Vida, and it is the nicest place. Beautiful decor, feng shui all up in ya business, friendly people, free parking, and so on, and so on. read more

I love Vida salon! It's always so quiet and all the girls that work there are so sweet. I always see Tiffany. I have extremely thick hair that is difficult to cut and color and she gets it perfect every time. She just did a ombre and it looks so good!! I have gotten so many compliments. She cuts my husbands hair (he's half black) and our children's hair boys have thick wavy hair like me and our daughter has super curly hair. So she has a wide range of talent being able to keep us all looking so trendy! Will never go any where else! read more
