BEWARE!! THIS IS A DEALERSHIP FULL OF SCAMMERS AND VERY RUDE PEOPLE. I HAVE NEVER EVER ENCOUNTERED SO MUCH DISRESPECT FROM A COMPANY IN MY ENTIRE LIFE! This dealership has put me through a lot of mental stress and also has put me in $5000 worth of financial hardship. They practiced many illegal theories including negligence, breach of contract, and forgery. I purchased a warranty with this dealership, and they canceled it and forged my signature onto another form with a different warranty. I purchased a 2010 Mercedes Benz GL 450 on 05/30/2019. At the time of purchase, I requested an EXCLUSIONARY warranty which is considered a bumper-to-bumper coverage policy. I received a letter on 10/09/2019 from Gold Standard stating, "that the warranty was canceled due to non-payment from the dealer." I called to see why the warranty wasn't paid after talking to Craige (the person who sold me the warranty) that worked at High Line Auto said that he would look into it. I received a new policy with Gold Standard's through email from Craige saying he was sorry for the mix-up. But later I come to find out that the warrantee issue still was not corrected. After speaking to Seamus Bandy (General Sales Manager) on 05/13/2020, he said he would take care of it, and give me an EXCLUSIONARY warranty. Later, the truck was taken to the shop in need of $5,000 worth of repairs. I was told that the warranty did not cover the repairs that the car needed. After going back and forth on phone calls and emails with Moe and Damien (High Line Auto Managers) they email me saying they will have the truck towed to their shop and then repair it there and assured me that they will have the warranty switched to an EXCLUSIONARY warranty for the 3rd time! After waiting weeks for them to tow the truck, they never arrived. So, they never went to get the truck and I was stuck with the entire bill to repair the vehicle. According to Moe, he was waiting for a tow truck to pick up the bid to get the truck. So these are many cases proving their DISHONESTY to a customer over a consistent basis. After reading the other reviews that were similar to mine, I knew I had to write about my TERRIBLE experience with the company falling for their fraudulent schemes leaving me out of a lot of money and still no EXCLUSIONARY warrantee. I was told one price and when I went to the dealership to finalize the deal and the bill of sale showed a higher price. The number I confirmed multiple times with the sales agent and he had written down in the folder and which I have saved in conversation thread about was no where on the bill of sale, the sales person confirmed the number we stated twice during the conversation with the finance manager. The sales guy even showed the number to the finance manager he stated he had to reprint the bill of sale he printed it with the exact same numbers and then told me that was never the number and he can't give that number at all after I drove a hour to come to be insulted like I can't hear or read, and like I don't understand what "out the door means". I asked to see the breakdown of where the higher number came from and he could not explain it, and he would not even discuss the other number. I purchased a Mercedes Benz CLA250 from Highline in September 2019. Since then, (2 years and 8 months) I have spent over $10,000 in costs for repairs for the car. Ranging from having to immediately replace/update electrical and a cracked wheel, battery replacement, multiple sets of new tires due to alignment issues, and now a new invoice of over $2,000 to have a broken valve in the engine replaced. This totals over $12,000 costs of repair on a $23,000 car in 2 years. They called and asked about a warranty they never offered and recommended I should take it to one of their repair shops to reduce the total costs of labor. The end of the call he told me to bring it in to "look at it and resell it to them, it's probably worth the same or more after all the work I've put into it" declined and he said, "ok you'll probably get more at carmax." ?? So beware, they will go to the extent to buy back bad cars and try to resell them!!!!!! read more

On May 5th we purchased a Mustang GT from Highline Auto Sales, great cars & great people, except for the sales person we had the unfortunate pleasure of working with (Sam)- he loves to use the term "No Problem" If you do decide to buy a car from Highline Auto Sales, make sure you get 2 keys at the time you purchase, because getting your 2nd key is a "Big Problem" but not according to the "No Problem" Guy ... he finally told us he would reimburse us for a 2nd key & send us a check for $100.00. Weeks and three phone calls later, once it DID arrive, was $75, not $100. Update 5/29/18, Shortly after posting this review, Sam asked me to remove my negative review and he would reimburse the full amount, that was on 5/21/18 my fault for believing he would. Worst car I ever had. Worst deal I ever went thru. I should have known it was an issue when multiple people the same day of me closing on the car had issues before they even drove off. Check engines lights on multiple people cars. They kept my trade in car for up to a week even though they stated I would have the car within a day or two. Then I had multiple issues with the car itself and they're response not even having the car for a day was "well did you purchase the warranty" Wowwww. In January 2021 I bought a 2007 Jaguar XK convertible from Highline, mainly dealing with 'Matthew.' Trying to contact him/them was always a problem and I should have gone somewhere else at that time. I live a long ways from Chicago but depended on their honesty (HA-HA) to go forward with the purchase. My BAD, won't do that again. After the purchase I had family drive to Chicago to pick up the vehicle. After looking at the Jag at home, some problems were clearly evident. The tires were dangerously worn and one was losing tire pressure. I replaced the tires but had to have a broken bolt drilled out when it twisted off. This is not necessarily their fault but Highline should have told me the tires were bad and losing pressure. The convertible top does not open/operate. Highline should have told me this. There was no spare tire, jack, etc. There is no battery cover panel in the trunk. There is a side panel missing in the trunk. There are some bolts missing from the engine cover. The dash defrost vents are gone. They should have told me. The only good thing is that the vehicle seems to run well but we are just getting into the vehicle I sent Highline an email a couple of weeks ago. NO ANSWER, typical of them. I see 3 persons with 5 stars. They were the lucky ones or friends. I see 7 persons with 1 star or less, 8 if you include me. I recommend you steer clear of Highline Auto Sales. They are the perfect example of the proverbial 'disreputable' used car salesperson/company. read more

I was once told a used car salesman is someone who is too afraid to steal but too lazy to work. I shouldnt blame the dealer as this experience was my fault. Went in to look at a car, nice car, friendly salespeople. Credit is average. While talking to the sales guy I screwed up by answering his question: "What is you maximum monthly payment." Like an ass I told him I didnt want to go over $500. So the sales guy goes to another guy, who goes to another guy, they come back and tell me the car, priced at 22k, would be $629 a month for 72 months. Now, im no mathematician but I know enough to do the basic math and that came out to 45K. I walked. Got a call that they can help me out, get that, help me....at only $500 per month @ 72. Sorry still 36k on a loan that would have been 15k financed after down payment. Went to my own bank and got a 35k loan at 7%. Remember, dont ever answer when they ask you what your maximum monthly payment limit is set at. Ahh, sub prime auto loans or worse compound interest dealers. If you were honest and up front from the beginning you'd have sold a car. read more

In spring of 2019 my husband and I bought a 2013 BMW X6M from this dealership only to find out that it wasn't an X6M 50i xdrive 500 hp. It is actually a X6 35i xdrive 300 hp. SO obviously someone put the M logo on this car and Craig sold it to us as an X6M even though they knew it wasn't. The salesman Craig (who is actually the finance person) is a real fast talker too so BEWARE AND DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THESE CARS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. Anyway, $26,000 after we purchased the car the water pump went out within about 30 days. Craig tried to gIve us the run around and say that that was our problem We would have to pay for it but, WE WERE NOT GOING FOR THAT!!! So I told Craig that we were on our way there. So my husband and I decided to take a ride. When we showed up they told me coincidentally Craig had to leave (how convenient)and I guess they thought we were gonna just walk away...NO WAY HOSEA'. We sat down and waited. Finally the owner came out after they saw we weren't backing down and said he was gonna pay for the repairs. Lucky for him he did the right thing because we were planning on kickin' up some dust in front of the rest of his customers and I think he saw that comin'. Btw they do push the warranty on you and I wonder if that's because they know their cars have problems?? hmmmm....To be honest I barely drive my car out of fear of something breaking. My response is that I told him my situation upfront and paid what he requested to hold the vehicle until my return. Horrible company!!! Disgusting attitude towards clients!!! We spent 2 days (!) in the company's office. We arrived for 800 miles to dealership. We've agreed on the price for the sale of a car. The amount of the transaction is all impressive. We've paid the entire amount about which we agreed!!! We have been given a car and only one (!) key. Owner was sitting next us and didn't help us!!! A week later the dealer called us and demanded an additional one thousand dollars, otherwise the dealer will not give us the title on the car we bought and the second key! We had to pay, since we already spent a lot of time, nerves and a significant amount of money! The dealer (Highline Auto Sales) sent us a title and a second key, but the title has been mistaken and we have been denied registration at the DMV means of transportation!! We called to the company many times to help us - again the nerves, the time.... The dealer (Highline Auto Sales) did not want to alter and send us a new title!!! The dealer (Highline Auto Sales) just sent us a new invoice. My advice for everyone is: be careful when buying and filing documents at this dealer (Highline Auto Sales)! I do not recommend this place. The salesman was okay and friendly, we had no problem with him. However the manager was rude, disrespectful, ignorant, and lacked communication and personal skills. We really liked a car and were willing to negotiate. We are not stupid and did our research and It was clear that we were going to buy if the price was right. The manager, Moe, approached us and didn't even introduce himself or do small talk, very rude and condescending. He went straight to the point and asked what our price was. We said a price $1,500 below the price they were asking, which is not ridiculous, and again it was clear that we were willing to negotiate. Moe went back to another desk and then came back yelling like he was out in the street, telling us to leave and that we didn't know how to negotiate and even said that we had spent all day shopping around because we didn't know how to buy a car. He was so incredibly rude. We packed our stuff and left, but not without telling the salesman that the manager was crazy and that they just lost a sale. If they didn't want to do business they could have let us know in a professional manner. We are so happy that we spent our $25,000 in another dealer that is professional and reputable. Test drove a vehicle and it had a wobble in the front passenger wheel. Their mechanic looked at the vehicle and said it was a tie rod, it would take 2-3 hours to fix. I did not have time to wait, so they offered me $250, which is what their mechanic said would be the cost of the repair. As I was leaving, the Finance man (Allan) told me to wait a couple of months and then take it to me Lexus dealer. He said the warranty I purchased would pay for it and it would cost mo only $100, so I would be $150 ahead. The Lexus dealer examined the car and told me the steering axle needed to be replaced, to the tune of $5000. I called and spoke with Moe and he told me they would get right on it. I spoke with Alex, who refused to call the Lexus dealer, and he said he would get back to me. Did not hear from them for a few days, so I had the dealer repair the car. Moe offered me $2500 and told me they had given me a deal on the car when in truth as I reminded him I had paid asking price, then he offered to cancel my warranty and repay that money as payment for the repairs, then he offered me a new car. I decided to take them to Small Claims Court where they did not show up for either court date. Required a 2 hour drive both ways for me each time. I won the judgement and now I am waiting to be paid. I bought a 2006 BMW X5 from Sami at High Line. Vehicle looked good on paper and Sami kept telling me they do a Thurough Inspection on every vehicle they sell. I told him my experience with that statement had never turned out to be a good one. I was correct again with High Line. I flew in to Chicago and picked the car up at High Line. I drove it back to Omaha. I decided to change the oil just to make sure it was done. While under the car in the first 2 minutes I noticed both outside CV boots were shredded while cleaning the tires of all the CV grease on the inside of them I also found a split in the inside sidewall of the drivers side tire 8" long. I drove this vehicle 500 miles at 70mph+ with a split tire. So much for Sami's claim they thuroughly inspect every vehicle they sell. The only inspection this vehicle got msut have been that it was still on their showroom floor. I discussed these things with Sami and he said there was nothing he could do but talk with the GM abnd see ifhe would do anything. I heard nothing back from Sami after that NADA. I have spent $300.00 now to get this vehicle to a point it will pass the required Nebraska State Vehicle Safety inspection. That is what kind of Dealer High Line is. After what I have been thru and seeing the supposed upper end vehicles High Line has I can not imagine buying a $70,000 Porsche or other vehicle from them.
