THEY EARNED IT Issue #1 I placed my order in "2 months in advance" prior to my retirement ceremony, and paid in full -$245.00 for the price of the cake. "3" days prior to the event I received a poorly written email basically stating she couldn't fulfill the order due to a decorator taking vacation and one contracting COVID- nothing more nothing less. After sending numerous emails asking for alternatives because clearly where can you go in less than 3 days for a custom order cake? Exactly? Oh did I mention the morning of my ceremony I passed the good ol Artistry of Cakes at Chick-fil-A? That's right! Play Hard....Work Less! Issue #2 I finally received my refund via hard check mailed to me today & noticed it was written for $240.00 not $245.00. I'm still in this belief I was asked if I can change my date-I mean really, you gonna ask a bride to change her wedding date for your cake?
