All the locals knew to do this! The donuts are behind the counter. I was a little discouraged at first when I didn't see them in the glass displays Customer service was great. My only complaint is I only purchased two donuts so they were put in a bag. The employee used parchment paper to grab the donut from the top and most of my icing was left on the paper. Why would you do that?!!! The donuts were delicious! Yummy icing. Soft. I couldn't believe how soft the cake donut was! I will definitely return!!!

However, once my eyes saw the Pizza Scone, I wanted a savory treat over a sweet. The scone was full of flavor, but a little on the dry side. After a couple bites, the dryness did not bother me, because the flavor was so good. My take on this is this establishment needs to keep up with the demands of what they offer. I would suggest limiting the items to choices that are a quick turnaround. They thrive in making the ice cream products fast while the fast food items take 10mins or more. I did not order the Funnel cake due to the worry of waiting for 10mins or more for it. I did not have any issues because I ordered a banana split, Concrete ice cream w/strawberries and Monster cookie on a cone. My selections were ok. I think it satisfied my sweet tooth, but I think the consistency of the ice cream can be improved. If Ted Drew's and Costco is in your rotation, then there's no need to explore elsewhere.

Not bitter and not too sweet, like other places, their espresso is the perfect combo. The Abbey is always quick, accurate, delicious & made by friendly staff. Aimee and Ceasar, the owners came out and we had a long friendly chat about the resaurant, our trip and so many other topics. They were super friendly and made us feel very special. It seemed the clientele all were regulars and knew the owners well - just like a big family in there!
