In the hunt for a body shop to repair my fender. Narrowed it down to the two best reviewed places on here and took my car in and asked for a breakdown of what was needed and a preliminary quote. This place had informed me they wont do such thing and pointed there reviews on here as a reference. They had let me know once i choose them for sure they will provide me with such. I personally wouldn't do business with individuals who won't show a small gesture of goodwill and in such a competitive industry with endless options. Wasted my gas and time. Anyone with the same dilemma as me, I decided to go with downtown collision center San Bernardino (the other highly reviewed spot). They are certified licensed and texted me what they thought needed done then when I went in person they did a detailed break down of the cost needed. Also we're very understanding and wanted to work with me and help deal with insurance. They also provided different repair options and made it clear what other potential issues they might find. Someone hit my car and damaged the rear bumper. The place my insurance sent me to said they could not repair the car due to some of my paint being sun damaged so I had to find an independent shop willing to do the repairs. Michael and Jesus are my boys. Just got a new 2020 Black Jaguar and unfortunately my roommate accidentally scratched the passenger side door with his key. It was no problem for my boys. If you need honest work done, you're on a budget, and need something quick then Mike is your guy. I had a collision incident on June 15th this year and decided to take my car to Caliber Collision for an estimate on the damages because I'd had work done there before (through insurance). This incident unfortunately was not going to be going through insurance (long story) and I had to pay out of pocket. After Caliber had my car for over a week they finally came back to me stating it would cost over $5k to fix. Way out of my price range to say the least. I contacted Mike shortly after that and he not only picked up my disassembled car from Caliber for free but also let me know they were over charging me and his estimate was under $3,500! Mike kept in contact with me throughout the entire process and was very accommodating to the fact that I was paying out of pocket. I felt/feel like Mike actually cared about my individual situation because he treated it as so! Where do I even begin! From the start of looking for a shop to have my car fixed at, I knew I would not be disappointed when I saw reviews. That's actually what pushed me to have my car repaired at this shop. I was paying on my own, not using insurance, and I got an estimate from him that wasn't really that bad but for me it was too high. He cared about my situation and made sure to do what was best for me throughout the entire time I was in contact with him. I am doing this review to warn people. Beware! We had such a horrible experience. My friend took her car here for a custom paint job. The customer service sucked. This is an untrustworthy business. After it was completed looked the car over and we showed them the paint drip marks down the driver's door. The guy would not redo the paint job or refund any of the money. I've had several cars worked on here the staff are awesome and there work is excellent thanks Jason and mike.

Jason is a master at his craft and I will only take my cars to him for now on. He is currently finishing up my 70 Chevelle. I was in a minor rear end collision, but most of the seems flexed and corners chipped. Since it already had a custom paint job done, Jason was able to display to the insurance company that the entire car needed to be painted because of the damage and we were unable to completely match the existing paint. Keep in mind the non car enthusiast would not have noticed if he just painted sections, but like I said he is a perfectionist. Can't wait to get this car back. Finishing touches are being done now. And if my luck didn't suck more a rock hit my Hellcat and chipped the bumper and cracked the windshield. Jason returned it to better than new. Oh and even got the insurance company to replace the windshield with an original mopar one. This was huge because the windshield has a design In it of a challenger. Above and beyond is an understatement. There are no words to describe how great this shop is. My husbands truck was rear ended and shoved into the car in front of him. The accident was totally not my husbands fault, but the insurance company was really messing us around. I took the truck to 3 autobody repair shops and they wouldn't give an estimate unless they tore it down, then they wouldn't agree to put it back together if we didn't get it repaired there. Or if the truck was totaled they would put it together. I fortunately took the truck to GP Custom and they did a complete estimate without tearing the truck apart and handled the insurance company. Within a few days, everything was taken care off and we could not be happier. Only the most awesome place and people I've met in a long time. So to make a long story short, an idiot hit my jeep in the parking lot, and then drove away. Jason from GP custom and collision saw this and tried to get a pic of his license plate but was unsuccessful. He left a note on my window and ultimately offered to fix my fender free of charge as a Christmas gift. I am still in shock at the kindness of this gentleman. When I picked up my jeep, Jason and his partner(I can't remember his name sorry!!) put my jeep back together and it turned out fantastic. Ultimately, these guys are a class act. When it rains it pours. I had a series of bad luck in a short amount of time starting with my mail being stolen, causing myself to not receive important information about my Infinity insurance policy, getting into an accident just a few days after my Infinity Insurance policy was canceled but not finding out about any of this until I called to make the claim, they told me my insurance had been canceled that they weren't going to cover anything that had to do with the accident I was devastated I had absolutely no clue where to go, who to talk to or what to do about this situation. When calling around for quotes (we did four) based off of pictures being sent GP Customs & collisions seemed the most HELPFUL at time going above and beyond to give me as much useful info based off what insurance companies would have done if they had handled it as needed to help me get threw this dark time on my own but most importantly they seem to be HONEST with me straight from the gecko, which put me at ease. They told me a price stuck with it while other places would gave me floating prices that changed every time we spoke to them as well as asking for the payment in full at drop off which didn't seem right to me. So trusting GP Customs & CollisionI called them back asking if most places ask for the payment in full they said no they are giving you a low price to get you in there doors & the price will go up after tearing down the car then your stuck with them fixing it at a much higher price. Hummm Makes sense, he said most places ask for half then the other half at pick up. Being completely satisfied with the many conversations I had with there sweet secretary as well as Michael & Jason I was convinced I wanted to get both cars repaired there, so we did. When the car I hit was finished at no surprise it looked immaculate to my self "the paying customer" as well as the "owner of the car", she stated her car looked better then it ever did, we were both completely satisfied in every aspect of GP customs & collisions and how they run their business.
