Due to a private event, we were seated in what has to be the B-list section, with nary a view to comfort us. That said, the service was great and our drinks were surprisingly good (for $20+). You want to Insta da gram? Get the Bubble Buddy Martini, which comes with--you guessed it--a big bubble on top of that pretty pink concoction. The Sangria 2 Ways is fruity and refreshing, while the Smoke Break is fumes without the nicotine. Food-wise, they have a pretty limited menu that's nonetheless tasty. I needed fiber, so I got the Mixed Salad, which was surprisingly huge and tasty. Plus, my stomach thanked me for all that healthy kale and cabbage. They did let us tour the actual rooftop at the end of our visit because the private event was winding down. Nice mid-tier views: this isn't the place for sweeping panoramas to backdrop your wedding, but it's a good pre-game spot before tearing it up.

Very cute Rooftop Bar and Lounge. Inside the Hotel Indigo. Open until 10pm. Staff very nice. They were out of ingredients to make The Flying Car, so I got the same drink as my sister, The Palomita. Drinks were nicely made, light on the spirit but a well tasting drink. We tried the Wagyu Beef Sliders, they were very good. 3 Sliders come with the meal. We walked around the rooftop lounge, which is two floors and very spacious. A good amount of seating available. I would definitely try it again, hopefully I can try my original drink of choice.

Came here during the winter holidays with a group of coworkers with a dinner reservation. This place is so cramped for a rooftop indoor area. At least they had a very intricate Christmas decoration setup with a fake reindeer and winter backdrop with fake snow. The place is a little hard to find with the entrance around the corner and inside next to a hotel and up the elevator. The sweats for a party of 8 were some random stools and they pushed two tables together pretty adhoc. The burger was not bad, but not great either. Not particularly juicy, but at least there was bacon. The chips with ketchup were actually pretty good. I was just glad that I didn't get the other appetizers because they looked like they were for ants. Someone got raw tuna sushi style tacos that took over 30 minutes to prepare and came out literally as four small hors d'oeuvres. Everyone ordered drinks and someone ordered a fish bowl type drink. Looked like a mini glass gravy pourer shaped like a fish.

We booked a reservation at 11:30p. As we were in our Lyft, on the way from New Jersey, the restaurant calls and says that they are closing early and will not be able to accommodate us after 11p. So why would you ake reservations after 11p? Very disappointing, unprofessional and just careless.

The view is nice but most rooftops have better. There are 2 levels some indoors and some outdoors. It's bigger than it looks online. It was quiet when we went but it was a Friday on a holiday weekend. The waitress was nice. Halfway through we were informed we had to go to the bar to order instead of asking the waitress which was weird. The place is pricey for the portions. We got the hummus to share which was spicy. The drinks weren't bad. The veggie quesadilla was quite yummy. The chocolate mousse was great. They were out of a few things on the menu. We went somewhere afterwards to get more food and drinks at a cheaper price. I would go back. They took reservations.

Service is so bad.. ordered drinks and took 30 min to make. Food is what you would expect at a mediocre hotel bar. The inside is very tiny and not that decorated. I've seen this spot in so many reels but starting to think that they might have been sponsored. Huge disappointment. Womp womp.. only 1 more star because they gave us 2 free shots for super delayed drinks.

Ordered a Cadillac Margarita (Casamigos) for me + Vodka Martini (Grey Goose) for my partner + thick Fries + Slice of Chocolate Cake Drinks weren't anything special but the fries were hreat and cake hit the spot. Actually, I'm so glad we stumbled in because their cute and short food menu is PERFECTION for lovers of small bites -- crab dumplings, caviar deviled eggs, spicy tuna crispy rice, shrimp cocktail, oysters, sardines, etc... Things I dream of all in one sexy, cozy place that whisks you far away from the streets of Manhattan. Our chairs were comfy, and there were many seating areas that looked equally as inviting. The bar was gorgeous, lighting was super moody. The room was daaark and not very busy on a Friday around 8-8:30 P.M which we appreciated. Our waitress was fabulous and so friendly, great with timing and checking in!

It delivered on both fronts, but I really was blown away by the wine. The sheer quantity of available wines is really impressive, and the sommelier was able to recommend a rare wine that fit our interests (a fantastic, effervescent, creamy Txakoli that had lovely fruit and minerals). Later, I tried amazing ice cider. The food rundown: -Sesame pizza Bianca: complimentary bread! This was very good and quite sizable. The bottom is entirely encrusted with sesame. -Scallop crudo (rhubarb, shiso): very good and the plating was gorgeous. Meaty scallops with tangy and pungent flavors. -Snowdance chicken (spinach, sherry, thyme): Super tender, crispy-skinned chicken in a savory sherry sauce. -Sea bass (asparagus, hollandaise): I was surprised at how remarkably well this dish worked. The asparagus was so good with the rich, buttery sauce. Definitely a smaller portion, but the chicken was huge so it balanced out. -Potatoes with ramps: Yum. Served hashbrown-style and the ramps were added as little sauce dollops. I loved the space, and by that I mean the ambience and also the literal amount of space we had to ourselves. We got to stretch out in a roomy corner booth. The room featured a lot of exposed brick and grey and utilitarian ceilings, but it manages to be cozy all the same.

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order. We got the Butterscotch flip, Getaway driver, and Big trouble. These drinks were not it. Although the prices are okay($19 each), they definitely need some improvement. All three had very strong flavors that were not balanced with the rest of the drink. After we finished our drinks, we waited an especially long time for the waitress to come back, check on us, and give us our bill. It was especially frustrating because we were the only ones in the bar at this point and we could hear them chatting downstairs. Overall, both service and the drinks need improvement. Can't really recommend Split Eights over other cocktail bars around.

My friend really enjoyed her drink as well. At $19 per cocktail, it's not the cheapest in the area, but also not the priciest either. Would absolutely recommend Split Eights to anyone looking for craft cocktails in the area.
