    Guinness

Stopped into Broadstone Bar & Kitchen for lunch while staying across the street during a work trip, and it ended up being a great find. I was able to grab a seat at the bar during the day with no issues, and the service was excellent, quick, friendly, and super accommodating. I had my laptop with me and was able to get some work done while enjoying a perfectly poured Guinness. For lunch, I went with the blackened chicken wrap, which was delicious. The seasoning was just right, and whatever cheese they used, maybe feta?, was a great touch that pulled the whole thing together. The atmosphere is laid-back but lively, with plenty of TVs if you're looking to catch a game, and enough space that it doesn't feel cramped. Whether you're looking for a casual, quick bite, a solid dinner, or a place to hang out with drinks, Broadstone checks all the boxes. As someone who stays in the area for work, I'll 100% be back. It's a great go-to for solo dining, watching sports, getting a little work done, or just relaxing with a good meal and drink. Great experience overall.

The all American was tons of food for a reasonable price! We made a rez for brunch but didn't need to, it won't be crowded at that time. Nice vibe inside, I like that it's multiple floors. Good service too, a bit slow to give us water right when we sat down but was smooth sailing after that!

Enjoyed it here. Cali wrap (without bacon) was really nice and filling. Lots of potatoes came with it. Staff were lovely too, will go back for brunch!

Great vibes! Food was amazing and so was the staff. Came in for brunch just before we cruised the Statue of Liberty and I must say it did not disappoint

This was a cute little bar. There's no rooftop per se, but the second level had a great view if you're looking for that type of atmosphere. Our servers were great. We had a quick lunch here. I just had a drink and the buffalo chicken spring rolls. The rolls were good. I didn't too much care for the dipping sauce. Overall, nice spot. And within walking distance to our hotel downtown.

Love this place. Gem location across from double tree hotel with local brews, full bar, food and mocktails. Try the Brooklyn pilsner. 10 for night ambience

    MOLD!
    Amanda W.

Came here with my family while on vacation and unfortunately ended up with a moldy sandwich. My mom and I both ordered the club, but because the lighting was pretty dim, we didn't notice the mold until I'd already eaten half of mine. I told her to stop eating right away. My dad had the burger and said his was good, but honestly, I wouldn't come back after that experience. The place itself has a really cute atmosphere and would make a nice date night spot, but they seriously need to check their ingredients before serving. On the bright side, our server was super kind and handled the situation professionally.

Stopped at Broadstone for a little bite/appetizer the other day around 12:30p. Was pretty shocked we were the only ones in there eating, but by 1p the place was packed. Ordered the margarita flatbread and it was pretty tasty! Wish it had more basil but that's minor. Service was quick (as I should have been as we were only customers for a bit), and price was not terrible. They had a bunch that sounded good on their menu so I'll definitely come back again.

Great stop to make while in FiDi- added bonus that they were decorated for the holidays! The drinks were great & fries were delicious. Glad we found this place! Hope to be back soon!

    Boneless Wings without sauce
    Val L.

Came here with my son and honestly the food was delicious. I got the broad stone burger, it was cooked perfect and so huge, I was stuffed after eating half of it. My son got boneless wings no sauce (closest thing they had to chicken nuggets) and the portion was HUGE. The only reason I'm taking off a star is because I ordered the Blue Chipper Martini which was $20 and the size of it was very questionable for it to be that expensive. It tasted good but was tiny so that was disappointing since I dropped $20 on it. I then got the strawberry fields drink which was delicious, highly recommend. Staff was great and accommodating, place is really cute.

    Holiday cocktail

I used to go to Broadstone for drinks and bites fairly often... I realized it had been a while since my last time there, so I figured I'd revisit. I brought my partner on a Friday night, and it was fairly quiet. We each ended up getting a holiday cocktail. While I liked mine, it was served with so much ice inside the glass that it ended up being only a few sips of actual cocktail... Definitely not worth $17 each. The service was friendly and fast, but I can't get past the price tag for what we got.

Casual gastropub in FiDi, there is a good amount of seating both upstairs and downstairs. Get the classic bar food: burgers, fries, sandwiches flatbreads etc. and you can't go too wrong. Although the prices aren't the lowest, the portion sizes are pretty decent, especially the fries. Service can be inconsistent, during our visit there were periods where we were waiting 5-10 minutes to flag down a server, but generally they were fairly friendly and helpful.

While I can't comment on the wine list personally, I know they are well-known for their extensive selection. After placing our order, we were delivered the sesame pizza bianca, which is a complimentary starter bread with dinner. The bread was a nice size and light and airy with a perfect crust and a delicious, crusty sesame seed bottom. The prawns were our starter and came three to a dish. They were sizable, though since they are served with the head and tail, there isn't a ton of meat on them. That said, they were flavorful and juicy with a nice sauce and just the right amount of spice that didn't overwhelm the fish. The snowdance chicken was the star of the show! It was incredibly juicy and tender with perfectly prepared skin, so I was happy to learn they keep this on the menu year-round. It was topped with some spinach that was solid, though nothing special. We also ordered a side of mushrooms which came with a creamy sauce and fish roe intended to be mixed at the table. The roe wasn't fishy at all but added a great element of umami to the flavorful, well-textured mushrooms. Overall, the service was very professional, though I thought the pacing could have been improved as the dishes came out a bit slowly. I would also recommend ordering at least two dishes per person, as the three plates we shared between two people felt like just a touch too little food. I'm already looking forward to going back--I'd try the winter chicories salad or the veal sweetbreads next time, but I'm open to exploring everything since the quality is so high. I noticed a side dish listed on their online menu that wasn't actually offered in person, so it might be worth double-checking if you have your heart set on a specific item.

We came in on a Friday evening and it was pretty quiet inside. After we were sat down upstairs, it took a long time for our waitress to come to take our order. All three had very strong flavors that were not balanced with the rest of the drink. After we finished our drinks, we waited an especially long time for the waitress to come back, check on us, and give us our bill. It was especially frustrating because we were the only ones in the bar at this point and we could hear them chatting downstairs. Overall, both service and the drinks need improvement. FOOD: Broccoli rabe was fresh, but I needed a steak knife to cut through it. It was very al dente. Not cut properly, which is to cut crosses in the stems. Salad was fresh and crisp, high quality fennel and greens. Lovely. Agnoletti was divine. Home made. Focaccia very good with subtle flavors and just the right crust. Olive oil, good.
