Roaming NYC we stopped in to Stone Street for drinks. We loved the vibe and locals were so nice. It's always fun to find the off the radar places when you travel!

    Must try their cocktails

Our fave restaurant for lunch but today was amiss. Their drinks tasted watered down and not enough alcohol. The waitstaff were friendly and accommodating though. The food never disappoint. The highlight is the Caesar salad with salmon. Very tasty and the salmon did not taste fishy. We will come back here again but we missed our friend, Freddy who is our favorite server and bartender. He makes the best Chocolate Martini - which is not in the menu!

I came here with a large group, and we didn't have reservations, but they seated us quickly. Our server was decent - she wasn't super engaging or anything, but she did what she needed to do. Most of the group decided on getting burgers, and I have heard good things about these burgers. You can get either the tavern or classic burger. But I went with the Grilled Pesto Chicken Sandwich instead, which was pretty simple sandwich - chicken breast, provolone, caramelized onions, and pesto. I really loved it though. The sandwiches/burgers all come with regular fries but you can upgrade to sweet potato fries or truffle fries. The prices are a bit on the higher side, but not too crazy. We also got fried calamari as an appetizer and it was really good. For drinks, their cocktail prices are pretty typical for New York, and the beer on tap is solid. One thing I really liked was that they didn't try to rush us out - we could actually relax and enjoy ourselves.

Cobblestones, cocktails, and pub food on a cold winter night. There's just something about Stone Street Tavern that feels like peak NYC. The Mac & Cheese and the quesadilla hit the spot. Great vibes all around

We were told that anything on Stone Street was good. This seemed like a happening place so we chose it. Lively music and the decor is darling! Love the chandeliers throughout. They were happy to seat us toward the back with our one year old. Highly recommend the Thin Lizzy cocktail, just the right amount of sweet and cucumber! For a starter we had the Truffle Risotto Balls - yummy. Fried perfectly and the risotto was cooked perfectly. The Shrimp Linguini Pasta was simply delicious. This was one of our favorites on our trip!

Great service, very cute restaurant, and only had 1 app... The truffle risotto balls were nice and crispy, and a nice size portion. It was giving canned spaghetti-os sauce vibes, with minimal flavor. Because I didn't eat a meal, I do not want to give below a 4. Would go back to try something new.

My first time on Stone Street and it was such a lovely area! I definitely recommend stopping here for food and drinks too! We were seated promptly and the waitress was also super friendly. The restaurant has such fun holiday decor up and it seems like such a great place to bring a group of friends. The grilled chicken pesto sandwich was absolutely delicious and the chicken was done really well. The mac and cheese was also a really generous portion and looked delicious too. My friend and I both enjoyed our drinks and highly recommend the sparking prince and chocolate martini!

Friendly greeting by the hostess, quick and attentive service, pretty chill on a Sunday. Sometimes when you order a tavern steak, you it's hit or miss, but it was a hit here. My steak & Frites were cooked perfectly to preferred temperature and flavorful! Also great with the sweet potato fries. The giant pretzel was fun to share - great pub cheese for dipping. Friendly greeting and service.

My expectations for the overpriced Stone Street tourist traps have been pretty much non-existent, so this was a very pleasant surprise. After being burned for the second or third time over here, I pretty much avoided any of these restaurants as potential lunch spots for months. My Skipper and I came here for lunch yesterday (a Friday) around 1pm. Despite the excellent weather and prime mealtime, this place really wasn't crowded, even in their more-heralded outdoor picnic table area. No matter. We secured a high top close to the bar with zero issues. Since we passed several people in Halloween costumes and there was a very slight Fall nip in the air, I decided to go with a Hot Toddy ($14); tis the season. It was very good. A LITTLE more citrusy than I would prefer (lemon is usually pretty prominent in this drink, to be fair, but I like the sweeter variations of this) but still hit the spot. And the temperature remained hot throughout consumption of the beverage, which was a selling point. The menu item that caught my eye earlier and ended my Stone Street boycott was the Braised Beef Pappardelle Pasta entree ($23). Huge fan. In an interesting decision that paid off, they cooked it with fresh mint throughout, which gave it a fun, refreshing taste that I wouldn't have guessed paired well with everything else. It was a decent portion that I polished off pretty quickly. The service was pretty good. The waitress was civil and pretty attentive but I wouldn't classify her as friendly, per se (which was a little surprising given how heavily a place like this caters to tourists). It took about 10 minutes to get my drink despite the fact that the bar area and overall restaurant were pretty empty, but the food itself arrived quickly and the waitress DID stop by a few times to check in; beyond the initial drink, I don't recall any point where we were actively waiting/looking around for someone to assist, and we were in and out of there probably within 45 minutes or so. Even if this restaurant wasn't on Stone Street, I think the price point was pretty reasonable for the area overall - a legit $23 entree and $14 drink are arguably slightly lower prices than the average here. It's definitely possible and maybe even probable that the dinnertime crowd experiences higher prices than this, but I'm pretty impressed by the lunch situation here.

Went back today last minute for a quick meal. Hazel was our waitress. She was great. My parents wanted things without salt and they did so. The pretzel was really soft.

    Tavern burger, fries and Guinness.

The food is not that bad, about what you expect for a bar. A bit pricey. Drinks seem good, can vouch for the Guinness although it does seem to depend on the bartender. I tend to only go when I notice he is there. Nice place to hang out with friends, grab a drink and watch a game.

Came to the the famous street of course, stayed for the ambiance. Typical bar inside, but was very happy that they sat us in the way back since we had kids with us. Had their burger and fries, tasted great, someone else had the salad and they kept saying that it was also good, regret not trying it. The drinks were average. On the plus side, checked in on Yelp and received a perk!! Check it out.

    Salad with chicken on side

Friends wanted a pub to enjoy the last part of a soccer game so we ended up here. Two of our group got the salmon, someone got a burger and my other friend got the chicken caesar salad. Decent enough. Nothing is designated vegan or veggie on the menu so after some questions I got the Asian salad with chicken and dressing on the side (friend had my chicken). It was enough to hold me over for a bit. Service was decent.

From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with champagne, which immediately set the tone for a special evening. Our server, Daniel, was beyond amazing. He was warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our anniversary meaningful. It never felt forced just thoughtful, polished hospitality. The team went above and beyond when we brought our wedding cake (which had been frozen for a year). Not only did they accommodate it without hesitation, they helped decorate and present it beautifully you would have thought it had been baked that same day. It was such a touching moment for us, and they handled it with care and enthusiasm. As for the food: incredible. The steak tartare was perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. The tuna was fresh and vibrant. And the Beef Wellington... honestly one of the best I've had in New York City. Perfectly cooked, rich, elegant, and absolutely worthy of a celebration dinner. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance: romantic, warm, refined but relaxed. It felt special without being stiff. If you're looking for a place to celebrate something meaningful, this is it. Our server didn't check up on us, and seemed to want us to leave quickly after dropping off the check. We would have been happy to pay the $65 each for afternoon tea, but it wasn't worth it and frankly, I was agitated by the whole ordeal by the time I left. We were also disappointed by the food items (as they were lacking) and nothing about this was like other experiences we had with other afternoon teas.
