I wanted Subway, the slightly healthier option, and my husband chose McDonald's. While he used the app to place his order, I stood at the counter to order my sub. There was a young lady there who greeted us with a smile and overheard me asking my husband what day of the week it was. She immediately knew I was checking to see what "The Meal Deal of the Day" was. It was the Hot Honey Pepperoni. She went to the back to let the Sandwich Artists know that they had a customer. The two young men emerged from the back with a lack of enthusiasm but came over to glove-up and help me. I asked for the Turkey Titan on wheat. They were out of wheat bread, so I chose the Herb & Cheese bread and asked for the rounded end to be cut off. He repeated my request slowly in the form of a question, so I explained what I meant. He must have never received that request before. I also asked for mayo on the bread, rather than on the meat, which is what they usually do. Lastly I requested that my 6" sub be cut in half. He completed my sub and slid it into a bag with no napkins, so I retrieved some myself. Then we moved into the convenience store area and grabbed some 2/$3 small cans of Pringles, a couple bottles of Calypso fruit drinks, and I couldn't resist the overpriced gas station Tornado (Southwest Chicken & Cheese). I like my coffee white and flavorful so I use a lot of creamer and some times try new creamers or mix them up to create a new flavor. As I was making coffee and almost done, creamer in hand...a blind lady working there approached me and said I would have to pay extra for extra creamer. Since when? Her response was since she has been working there . OK creamer police. When you buy coffee, you are supposed to be able to put however much sugar and creamer in it as you like. How can you tell me how I can drink my coffee without getting an extra charge? Won't be coming back here ever again.
