We were very fortunate that Brandon, one of their drivers, happened to be towing another vehicle nearby. I walked over, and right off the bat, he was warm, approachable, and truly listened to our situation. He asked smart, thoughtful questions to see if he could safely tow both cars at once and he made it happen seamlessly and quickly. When we got back to the shop in Chester, we met Thor, who was incredible. He was extremely empathetic, clear, and upfront about pricing. Knowing our insurance wasn't going to cover it, he generously knocked some money off the bill to help us out. When I mentioned we were entertaining buying a new car, Thor brought up the option of being towed to Redding where there are more dealerships. It was fantastic advice, and Brandon drove us and the vehicle the entire way to Redding. Brandon's hospitality during the drive was second to none. He offered us water, let our girls eat in his truck, was happy to roll down the windows when one of my daughters was motion sick, pointed out interesting things in the landscape, and even accommodated a bathroom break for the kids. I contacted AAA and had the truck towed 80 miles to R & R. Kevin called 2 days later to tell me that it had a broken exhaust pipe at the manifold, and they could repair it for $450. We drove from Grants Pass back to Shasta Lake to pick it up and headed back towards home. About 5 miles from home the truck started making the exact same noise. When I got it it home I pulled the exhaust/catalytic converters and discovered the repair had failed. I contacted Kevin and he asked what I wanted to do. I told him I would order a new exhaust/catalytic converter and install it myself, because I didn't want to drive the 2 1/2 hours back to the shop. Kevin told me to order the parts and he would reimburse me the entire amount, which I did. I provided the amount to Kevin and received a check from him in a few days. Not only did Kevin stand behind his work, he went the extra mile by reimbursing me for the parts. I can't say enough about the level of customer service Kevin provided! I highly recommend them as a trustworthy shop.

Also Rick is great at sounding reasonable but in reality once challenged or questioned he sulks and grumbles. I know rebuild take time and I know how old my suzuki is. I find it interesting that there is no mention of the fact the gaskets blew because after a previous repair the idle was so high it blew them. FRO!

I was in a bind with an alternator that went out and, as with Lexus, the factory one was pretty pricey. Being honest, the lady on the phone told me they won't install anything other than OEM for something like an alternator when I told her I couldn't really afford it at that time and asked if they'd install a cheaper non-oem one. So she then did some more digging and was able to save a lot of money on an OEM she found but it wouldn't arrive until the next day and then they'd install it. I was so thankful. BUT THEN! She called a few hours later and said that the owner actually went out and found one locally and picked it up for me, it wasn't the cheaper price but they still honored the price AND my car was already done and ready to pick up! This saved me from having to arrange for a ride from and to work from Paradise the next day to pick up my car. Just outstanding customer service and great work. There's no pressure and they really really know what they're doing. I would take any car there they'd work on, not just Toyota/Lexus. My mother in law also has taken her Toyota there for over 15 years. I very highly recommend them.
