This is the cutest coffee shop I have ever been in!!! That atmosphere is very mountain town and they have the best flavors you can add to your lattes:)) The ladies at the counter were an awesome help! I will definitely be comming back!

Saw this as we drove to our place 2 blocks away and was craving it the next morning. This is a great hangout spot to enjoy from the summer heat with board games, books and a small shop. We enjoyed the Happy Camper latte blended and someone asked what it was when we picked it up smelling the salted caramel and cinnamon. Looked to have some Boy Scout counselors there enjoying the brake from the kids.

This is a great coffee shop in a really neat location. The lavender latte is excellent and so is the Cimarron mocha. Super nice staff

Such a cozy and adorable coffee shop in Cimarron . The ladies working here are so welcoming , amazing and nice(Guess family run business). Coffee was nice and perfect! The place is clean and they are maintaining proper COVID sanitization and masks are required. I saw the girl disinfected the table and couch after one of the guests left . It's an amazing Place to stop if your are on the way !! We were passing by from this village and my husband had to take a urgent call. He was planning to take the call from car , We never though we would find such an awesome spot with proper tables and chair as well as free WiFi !!!!

Poor service..took money from several scouts in uniform and did not deliver. The place was busy. And we try to support local businesses. Our group of scouts took a bus into town from philmont. It took 30 minutes to push out 5 of the 10 milkshakes we ordered. We had to leave to catch our bus back. They refused refunds for most of the orderes not completed. The 2 that got refunds in our group had to persist several times.. scout be ware this place is not as friendly to the scouting community as they would have you believe.

A cute little coffee shop tucked away in Cimarron New Mexico with great coffee, games to play, and the nicest baristas around. Keeping locals and Philmont staff caffeinated and entertained this cute coffee shop is the best place for a quick drink or a few hours of hanging out and getting some work finished. A MUST VISIT. If you are in town!

We came in to Hikers Coffee Company at 7:30 on a Sunday morning! We woke up here and NEEDED good coffee before we checked in a Philmont. I am diabetic and needed sugar free syrups, cold brew and heavy whipping cream! I also had them make me a breakfast sandwich without biscuit. They were so sweet and did an amazing job! The coffee is excellent. We will be back next Saturday before we head home!

Great hole in the wall local business. Was highly recommended by everyone we talked to. WiFi, breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Service was quick!

Adorable (well, everything is adorable in Taos; it's the southwestern charm for sure!) but it's more than what its appearance says it all. You have to try their products and see for yourself. What I got me were a few bon bons and a chocolate torte (the whiskey kind). -Miso Caramel: is shaped like a mushroom. Even if you might not be a fan of miso based (everything), you should try these bon bons anyway as they don't taste like miso at all. I was quite shocked with this myself (well, I like miso soup; miso taste doesn't bother me at all. Even so, Miso chocolate candy was something I didn't know what to expect out of. That is why I am saying that I was surprised by it.) -New Mexico , Spicy: was also surprising. The kick in these tiny pieces was quite mighty and yet it was tolerable. -Whisky Torte: All sorts of organic ingredients are used to make these delightful tortes. Tortes tend to be a lot heavier than traditional cakes as their texture is that of fudge. And yet, that shouldn't be a reason for you to steer clear from it as this chocolatier perfected the torte in a way that it will not be too rich or heavy for your taste or stomach. At least that is what I thought when I tasted it. Another must-try item on their menu offerings. For its interior, it's mostly and simply grey on walls but this emits the "chicness" that doesn't overshadow the theme of its business. You should also pay attention to the ceilings and the floors. A careful attention to entertain the guests' eyes is seen throughout. Service was good. I first went here late in the afternoon (close to its closing time). I quickly glanced at each section of the store inside. The kind gentleman upfront wanted to assist me but after asking him if it was open tomorrow (it would be Sunday), he said yes to which I gave him my promise that I would be back tomorrow. The same man assisted me when I was back the very next day to make a purchase. Not sure if he remembered me or not. It's not chocolate bon bons or tortes you can enjoy at this store. The café offers tasting trios, mocha, chocolate mouse, ice cream, affogato, hot chocolate, and espresso and so on. This is a haven for chocolate fanatics.

It was about a 15 minute wait to get a table on a very busy Saturday afternoon. I am bumping up my review since it was a dog-friendly restaurant. Our server, Arthur, graciously brought me more water for my dog and offered me a bowl even though I already had both. For starters I had a Whiskey Smash ($14.75). I enjoyed it. I sampled a taste from my brother's beer flight ($18). My mom's Desperado Mexi Lager also. They were mostly enjoyable. Red apple cider was probably something I would have on the front porch. For lunch I had the BBQ brisket sandwich ($12.50) with fries, pickles, and onions. They did not skimp on the meat. There was BBQ at the table which I added because the brisket was a bit flavorless. I chuckled when our server brought the mac and cheese out to my ultra picky nieces. He stated to my sister-in-law that it was in fact the Kraft-style mac, but it wasn't. I mean maybe he should learn what that means first of all. But second... Can you believe those kids are so picky that they didn't eat a single bite? Eight dollars per bowl with a side. Wow. My kids would starve the rest of the afternoon if their food smelled and tasted half way decent. Lol. I can almost hear the mutterings at my parenting style. Hey at least I drank my overpriced whiskey cocktail. Because our party was so large, automatic gratuity of 18% was added to our ticket. The women's restroom was small and mostly clean, but awkward entering and exiting with other women and girls crammed inside. I did not like how tables in our area were left untouched long after other patrons left. If I had my choice, I would probably opt for an alternative place next time. I was not that impressed by the staff's overall indifference to all the patrons. RATING BREAKDOWN (3 stars overall, bumped up because they were dog-friendly!) The fries were crispy and I really liked the "spicy" barbecue sauce. The service left a lot to be desired. When our food came out, something was missing from every plate. The runner seemed confused and lost when we asked about our remaining sides. The waiter had to ask someone if they had to-go cups for my 8 year old and the runners had to ask about barbecue sauce for our brisket . I really wanted to like this place, my husband and I have enjoyed their spirits at various restaurants in Taos, but we were very underwhelmed and felt it was very overpriced especially for lacking service.
