    Lemon ice cream

Lemon ice cream. Absolutely delicious. Pretty pricey for two of us to have two scoops each. Came out to $18 will be a once in a while treat only....unfortunately

Much more than Ice cream, I was happy to find a fantastic breakfast burrito. Scrumptious! Huge! Where to have your feasts? By the creek in the cool shade, of course. Only one thing made me sad: No Pets Allowed? Not sure why; this ain't no high falutin' place, so until they accommodate for my four legged friends they'll get 4 stars

Loved their ice cream. Unique flavors that were delicious. Had a large waffle cone. Wish we found them on the first day of our week long stay instead of our last. Cool and funky little town also. Outdoor seating provided some great hang out space. Service was prompt.

Always happy to stop here and enjoy a cone because this ice cream is unique and delicious!! Taos Cow is located in Arroyo Seco en route to the Taos Ski valley. They offer all natural ice cream that is rBGH free. Several ice cream flavors feature local ingredients like pistachios, pecans, piñon, and lavender. They also offer coffee, breakfast and lunch items. They open everyday at 7:30 a.m, and they have a scenic spot to sit with chairs and little patio tables next to a creek. My favorite flavor is the Cherry Ristra w dark chocolate chunks and piñon! Yum! My little one enjoyed her vanilla bean and my Mom enjoyed the piñon caramel with large chunks of caramel inside. This place is a gem, be sure to stop by before or after your mountain adventures!

Famous egg sando on an everything bagel

I was just leaving Taos and needed breakfast and coffee. I googled this place and it was 5 minutes away from me. I got the famous egg sando with bacon and avocado and it was DELICIOUS!!! It was not what I was expecting and everything tasted so fresh. I wish that I could eat here every day because I would. I also got a vanilla latte which was just as delicious. 10/10

Started with Wagyu/Angus burnt ends and savory red chile sauce. Tender and delicious. We then moved to the almost crusted Chilean Sea Bass with cilantro basmati rice and locally sourced microgreens and asparagus. Blew me away. The best course, IMO, was the duck confit with corn and hatch chile bread pudding. Accompanied by macerated blueberries and delicious red amaranth micro greens. Chef's kiss. The bouillabaisse was multilayered and seafood was perfectly prepared. To round out our evening, we indulged in a key lime pie that was refreshing and the perfect close to a wonderful meal. The chef and staff are so wonderful. They take care of you and can relate without any kind of pretension. Highly recommend

BFF and I were visiting the plaza and I wanted to eat linner somewhere different. As I researched restaurants prior to our trip, I found this gem and they have happy hour 7 days a week! After reading the many great reviews, we arrived approximately 15 min early prior to them opening as we were not sure how busy it would be on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived prior to the bartender but she showed up shortly after we did and took a seat at the bar!. Now, I genuinely do not like bar seating as I prefer a table, and they have one that sits 10 people but since there was two of us we did not want to hog up that much space. Our server was great and we started off with the brussel sprouts and elote corn ribs with red chile butter. Both were delicious and off the charts! I opted for the chicken sando and BFF ordered the steak frites. Both were delish and full of flavor! We also had a really good pinot cab. Our bill was a bit pricey for their HH menu (116.00 incl 5 glasses of cab total) but worth every penny! Ambience is totally cool, laid back, classy (but not pretentious) with a modern rustic flair on the inside. Will definitely be back if I am in Taos again!

When I made the reservation I asked for the opinion of the woman I was talking to about indoors vs outdoors and she said she loves their dining room so I went with inside and I'm glad I did. Cute little vases with flowers in each table not over done and very homey and classy. We ordered a cocktail and some appetizers including the blue cornbread. The cocktails were interesting and fresh. For dinner I had the best sea trout EVER! It was perfectly cooked, tender, juicy and full of flavor. I would get this weekly if I lived there. My husband ordered the tamale and it was a fresh twist on the New Mexican staple. Literally little celebrations in every bite! If we are back in Taos we will definitely return to Love Apple for it all: food, service and ambiance. Well done!

My partner and I recently celebrated our anniversary and went to Taos, New Mexico to check it out…read moreas we had never been. This was a must stop recommended by many people so we were happy to secure a reservation and dine there. Ambiance was nice, we enjoyed the warm lighting and how it was inside an old historic catholic church. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable as well. I will say- the food was decent but it was nothing extravagant or to write home about like others have mentioned in the past. A lot of items on the menu have like one or two ingredients that I feel throw the dish off, so it was difficult deciding what to get there. We ordered the cornbread, mussels, the trout and the bison when we went for dinner. By far my biggest complaint with the whole experience was the fact that it is a cash only establishment, with no ATM even available on the property. You have to drive beforehand to the closest Allsups and withdraw whatever you feel will be the most for the check plus gratuity. This really limits what you can/can't get on the menu depending on how much cash you bring. I personally do not enjoy feeling limited by that or having to do math at the table in my head to make sure I got enough to cover it all. This also makes people look at the menu beforehand maybe online to get a good idea before driving to said gas station. They say on the website it's because "By forgoing transaction fees, we can better support our employees, serve organic food, and boost our local economy." but in reality I believe it's because they do not want to pay credit card fees and whatnot. Their sister restaurant Manzanita (which we also dined at) was not cash only though which was odd if they are related, so something isn't lining up at The Love Apple. We still had the best time with each others company which matters the most celebrating a special occasion, but I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to tell everyone that they gotta go there when they are in Taos.

We ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast and huevos rancheros, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were seasoned so well. I also tried the Maya hot chocolate, which was delicious, along with the sparkling cranberry juice. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we grabbed a few pastries from the front beforehand . They were all so good, but the savory goat cheese and tomato pastry was definitely a favorite. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the freshness and quality of the food. Between the atmosphere, great service, and delicious food, this was definitely a place we'd come back to!

Only complaint was that the buffalo seemed to be wasted since we couldn't taste it at all). We also got Zucchini Fingers (super good as well!
