When I called to order we spoke at length about the perfect arrangement for a friends birthday. She met all my requests and then some with a personalized touch. My husband gets points for sending flowers as a salve on my heart for the foot-in-mouth episode from last night, however, Hilary's Flowers dropped the ball in the execution. I've never seen such a haphazard arrangement of flowers in my life. It's like someone just collected up a list of what was left in the dregs and shoved a few roses, sweet peas, and thistles (why thistles? they told my husband they were putting in lavender, thistles are NOT lavender). Oh and greenery! It's like a forrest of green stuff that will be a mess when this week is over. It's just all around weird. read more

I drove down here to get flowers for my GF on Mother's Day before I picked her up from the airport only to find that it's a house. Most likely the business owners home. This has happened to me before and I feel it's pretty bad business practice to have your address advertised on Yelp and it's not even a place you can go. This place is awful I get that it was Valentine's Day but that's no excuse for rude service! I stopped in to get flowers for my friend that lives close by and was told that they don't take walk-ins. WHAT?!?! That doesn't even make sense! Then after hearing someone else walk-in and get an order, I asked again and was rudely told that they will make an exception. I was given so much attitude that it really turned me off. I looked around and really didn't like the choices or the quality of the flowers so I left. Thankfully I found another flower shop close by and was treated kindly and got a beautiful bouquet. The flowers were beautiful and the owners, more than accomindating! I flew in from D.C., having ordered the flowers over the phone, Kathy was pleasant and servanthearted throughout the whole process. In fact, upon arrival to pick up the flowers, I felt as if I had been welcomed into their home as a guest for a dinner party. Everyone was iniviting and personable. Knowing that I would be traveling some time without water for the flowers, she surplanted them with water flower vials to keep them until then. In fact, I was unable to arrange for sufficient transportation back to the airport, so her husband was kind enough to drop me off. This experience far exceeded what I had expected. My husband sent me a bouquet from Hilary's Flowers. The bouquet was stunning and the flowers were fresh for weeks. When it came time to host my nieces baby shower, I thought of Hilary's Flowers. Kathy helped in decorating a diaper cake with flowers for my nieces shower. I didn't want an ordinary cake. I wanted something beautifully done and Kathy helped in achieving that. I received an arrangement of flowers during the week. Over the weekend, I noticed that a couple of the flowers were losing their blooms. I called on Monday as I was concerned that the petals could be toxic to my animals. In response to my concern, Kathy personally delivered a replacement arrangement that day. Beautiful birthday arrangement! I called at 6:30 AM and the woman I spoke to was very pleasant. She gave me the price ranges off the bat and didn't pressure me to buy more than I was equipped to. I called back with an updated address apartment number and delivery time (to ensure my mom got her flowers before she headed out for the day) and she was more than flexible. She ended up having to make a second delivery attempt, and I wasn't charged any extra for it. And best of all--the flower arrangement was unique and gorgeous!
