It was not a very professional massage. The masseuse got on the table with me. And kept asking, is this okay, is this okay? It was very uncomfortable. He completely uncovered me and it was the most awkward massage I've ever received - and I've gotten 1-2 massages a week for the past 17 years. He cornered me after the massage and told me I needed to give him my number. He hasn't stopped calling me or texting me. I have been shocked by this entire situation. And I would not go back here. I paid for 60 units which they definitely gave me less of and it came out looking awful. Very uneven. "Spocking" on both sides and didn't even hit the "11s". I went back to have it fixed which any other Botox place would have done for free. They charged another $350! Costing over $1000 just for forehead (I'm only 38 and i have good skin. This is more as a preventative ). It still looks awful so making an appointment to go somewhere better. The office and building are very low end. There are a ton of great Botox places out there. I've been to a few, but tried this one bc of the Groupon. It ended up costing more than any of the high end beautiful spas I've been to and I can't emphasize enough how bad the results were. By far the most attentive front desk service at a skin care salon in Westchester. Hilda Dermijian's spa, is well known in the White Plains area on Mamaroneck Avenue offering high quality and luxurious services. Since most of my afternoons are pretty much open, my husband purchased a facial spa treatment. My hope was to tone up my skin and surrender in relaxation. The front of the Dermijian is attractive and well lit, offering nice variety of lotions and cleansers. (I was not ready to purchase any of their serums during this visit). The receptionist brought me over to the back of the spa, to lounge for a bit, while I sipped my tea. Soon after, my esthetician introduced herself and made me feel very comfortable. She was very thorough and pushed all my curls away from my face using a soft headband. Asked me a few questions and used a magnifying lamp to examine my skin. Hilda Dermijian is worth a visit. However, my biggest pet peeve was not relaxing after my massage to get my bearings straight. Dermijian's sessions do not allow you to have some breathing room and I would've liked that a lot. Trying to save a few dollars, I bought a Groupon for laser hair removal at a great price at Hilda Demirjian and decided to try it. Big mistake. Huge. My other laser hair removal place had been quite effective, but pricier. I had 6 laser treatments at Hilda Demirjian, about 6-8 weeks apart, on both my lower legs and armpits. I have light skin and dark hair (ideal for such treatments) and my previous laser treatments at other establishments were successful. I was very surprised on my first visit how painless the laser treatment was! I barely felt a thing! I thought, wow, why had I been putting myself through so much pain all this time at the other place? Well, it turns out the reason it doesn't hurt at all is because it is COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE. The woman (Hilda herself?) doing my treatments was very pleasant and kind, and the salon is a lovely place. I can't comment on their other treatments or services, but the laser hair treatments did NOTHING. After 6 treatments I had maybe 10% less hair on my legs and armpits than I had on my first visit. The woman said it was because I was "very hairy" to begin with (I'm not). The reason is because their lasers are weak and ineffective. Complete waste of my time and my money. So what did I do in the end? I went back to my original laser treatment place, paid them for the same service I'd already paid to Hilda Demirjian, and guess what? After only 3 treatments, 75% of my hair is GONE! Don't. Waste. Your. Money. Here. At least not on their weak innefectilasers. Save yourself hundreds of dollars and point a flashlight at your skin and say "beep!" -- you'll get about the same results I did. UPDATE: Thanks for your reply to my comment. No, I don't work for a competitor. I also operate a female-owned business, so I'm not trying to break down another female, just post an honest review. Check your database again. I had appts on 8/5/17, 9/12/17, 11/9/17, 12/14/17, 2/15/18, and 5/10/18. I told you in person that I wasn't satisfied with the results. You said it was because I was very hairy to begin with. I received a groupon as a gift. I never give bad reviews, I must say this was not a good experience. I got there just before 10 am and the place was closed. They were late about 10 minutes, so the place was cold when I entered; and it was raining outside. The gal that gave me my massage was extremely talkative. I don't know how the service was because I wasn't able to try it. When I got there for my appointment, I was told they don't do Botox on Tuesdays. The receptionist said it was in the computer for Botox, but she didn't know why, since she didn't make the appointment. Since I bought the service on Groupon, I have to go through them for a refund. Do not recommend for laser procedures, have had laser procedures done at Dermatologist offices so I am experienced and know what to expect. I bought 2 sessions and it was very short, not even 2 minutes and she kept handing me the mirror to see the "difference" but any laser treatment improvements are not instant and take time. She spent more time selling me her products which "are sold in Beverly Hills", she quoted me a price for 1 and when I went to check out, it had risen by $10. Should not have bought it. I bought a Groupon for two European facials at this spa for $40. While it was an excellent deal, I would not return to the spa even if I were given the option to buy it at the same discounted price. The woman who did the facial was very friendly and informative. She told me a lot about different ways to take care of my skin and answered any questions I had for her, but at the same time it was hard to decide if she really knew what she was talking about or if she was just trying to sell me products. She cleaned my skin, gave me a tease of a shoulder massage, applied a mask and left me laying in the room for about 15 - 20 minutes. I was super bored and cold. After that, she removed the mask, gave me another shoulder massage tease and told me I was all set. Hilda Demirjian should be ashamed of herself and the "services" she provides. She is more concerned with constantly pressuring clients to buy her junk products than performing quality services. In 2009 or 2010 Hilda Demirjian conned me into spending $500 on one laser hair removal treatment on a small area on my face that did absolutely nothing - which I understand happens and you need multiple treatments. In June 2011 I purchased a Groupon for a less fancy - but very effective laser hair removal salon in Hartsdale. I needed a few more treatments, but in December 2011 stupid me decided to buy a Groupon to complete my treatments at Demirjian instead of continuing my treatments at the salon in Hartsdale for $100 per session (which is a good price). My Groupon for Demirjian was for 6 sessions of laser hair removal on a small area for $129. I made my first appointment right away and began treatment in December 2011 or January 2012. I received 3 consecutive treatments at a normal schedule of 4 weeks between each session. After the third session, I was told the hair growth was slowing so I would only need treatment once every 6 months. I told Hilda that my hair was still growing at the same rate and she insisted that she saw a dramatic difference and if I shaved daily the hair would become thinner and eventually stop growing. Foolishly, I believed her. It is now November 2013, I have received zero results from her "treatments" where at the salon in Hartsdale I received dramatic results that have lasted until today. I'm so upset and disapponted. I truly feel she takes advantage of people. I spoke with a laser hair removal specialist who told me that she has heard many horror stories about Demirjian and that she is a big scam. I guess now I will be contacting the salon I originally went to in Hartsdale to complete my treatments. I wish I just paid them the $100 per session to finish up the treatments rather than waste my time and money dealing with her. I also had an acne facial at Demirjian and it was a terrible experience. The spot is absolutely beautiful and has a very serene, peaceful feeling about it. Hilda took time with me to explain my procedure and clearly made me understand everything that would happen. I Had a Groupon for a European facial- upon my arrival, the front desk staff was arguing with two of the beauticians. I was taken to the back to sit on the couches and they continued to argue. When I got taken in for my facial I was excited to relax. The lady who did my facial spoke to me the entire time- I tried to not respond and she kept going. I struggled to relax. Then, she kept trying to sell me on a package and all of the products - all while I was still getting the facial. Bought a groupon for a massage and facial. Called the following week and they said that they no longer had a masseuse. Ok? How can you have a live groupon promotion offering a massage with no masseuse? This was in January and they said in June they should have one. They offered two facials instead of the massage, but I primarily bought the deal for the massage, so I had my facial and waited until June for the massage. When I called in June to schedule the massage they informed me that they no longer offer massages. What BS! Whatever, I put on a happy face and got a second facial but I will not be back! I feel like I got scammed into buying the groupon in the first place on false pretenses. If your masseuse leaves and you have an offer on groupon you hire a new one; isn't that common business sense! Outside of that, the spa itself isn't luxurious at all. The "waiting room" has a display case of their products, no food and water from a cooler. You do not change into your robe first and relax in the room, but rather wait there for a couple of minutes before the professional doing your service comes to pick you up. I can't complain about the quality of the facial once or friendliness of the staff. My skin felt very nice when I left but they tried to upsell me the entire time. read more

This place will slowly go out of business. Been going here for about a year or so for facials. Usually pretty satisfied with the price and service, but you can tell its on its way out. The atmosphere is bleh and the place is so outdated and gaudy. Looks like its stuck in 1994. I had my last and final straw when i made an appointment for a facial at 10 a.m. only to show up at 9:50 and wait until 10:15 a.m. with the place and doors closed. I even confirmed via text message the day before and someone called me 2 days prior my appointment to confirm. This was the WORST experience with a mani pedi I've ever had. The room was absolutely disgusting. So dirty. (my pinky finger is infected from getting cut with a dirty tool). They only have 10 Essie colors and the rest are from the dollar store. The manicurist let me go across the street to the nail salon to pick a new color. The staff (besides the manicurist) were extremely rude. They came into the room and asked if I could stop talking so loud. (I wasn't) The mani-pedi was supposed to last 1.5 hours but only lasted 45 minutes. The entire time i was contemplating leaving. I have noticed from the reviews, this company is rude to customers and does not accept any negative comments from them, so they will do the same to my review, but please please do your research before you visit this clinic! If I could give this company a minus one review I would! Hilda made me purchase a package and promised outstanding results with my treatment, treatment in particular focusing on my dark circles, she even made me purchase the whole skin care regime kit. After attending five of the six sessions, sadly I saw no change whatsoever. Every session I attended she promised I would see results, which I never did. I constantly questioned her about the treatment and results, each time she promised outstanding results. Finally, I asked for a refund and she completely ignored my requests and acted aggressive when I requested a refund. What is upsetting is that she even gave me a signed note confirming I would see improvement, yet she did not honor that promise or compensate me. I also used the Groupon for the laser collagen treatment. I also had it under my eyes. Unlike Melissa, however, I am thrilled with the results. I suppose it depends on the person and skin type, but for me the results were immediate and and are ongoing. What's awesome is that the treatment itself took just a few seconds under each eye, but Hilda talked with me for a good fifteen minutes, answering my questions and making suggestions for how to take care of skin moving forward. In an industry full of charlatans, I wasn't expecting much. But for me it really was like magic. I look and feel more refreshed and have ditched my under-eye concealer.
