I pulled into the driveway to get my car serviced and it was packed. I almost left because I figured it may be awhile, but the tech assured me that it was only going to take about 30 minutes or so and with, all my traveling, I can tell you my car Is probably running on mud right now instead of oil... yikes. So, 30 minutes wasn't too horrible. I went inside and most of the chairs were full in the waiting room, but they had a tv playing horrible soap operas and a full pot of fresh coffee. I stood around for a few, and realized they had a stack of magazines that had some unusual titles. I'm an artsy type and they had, sitting on the top of the stack, "International Artist." I was pleased and parked my butt in an empty seat. The guy at the front desk was very nice and took my info. My car has lots o miles, so I told him I wanted the oil that would make it purr like a kitten again instead of an asmatic old lion. I presented a coupon to him and he nodded in acknowledgement. I sat back down and watched him greet several of the regulars by name, and that's always a good thing in my book. After awhile they came in and showed me how dirty my air filter was and I cringed... I knew this visit would entail more than an oil change because it had been a pretty long time since I'd brought my car in for service. After about 10 more minutes he came in and said my serpentine belt was bad, and I had a feeling it was so that was no shocker. Well, my 30 minutes turned to about an hour. Not a huge deal, but I think they had to order my serpentine belt from another shop. What I am bummed about is that they didn't tell me, and my boyfriend overheard them ordering it from another shop. Had they set that expectation of my wait, I would have been fine. When I was all done and ready to pay, the guy told me that my coupon wasn't valid because I used a more expensive oil. I probably looked like someone kicked my puppy because the original guy never told me that. For a high mileage oil change, fluid top off, air filter, and serpentine belt I was looking at $160. After he realized the first guy had been told about my coupon, he gave me a $10 discount. I was happy again! He also gave me a loyalty card that gives me my 6th oil change free. Bonus!! The thing I liked the most about them, is that they could tell my car had some issues while starting, and they offered some ideas and mentioned that the auto shop up the street was theirs too. I can say that I will definitely be back here, and I may even try out their auto shop. The service was great, and my car's asthma is silenced for a bit. :P

So I came to Valvoline on Colerain for help. They were very friendly and helpful. My tires in fact had not been checked and my fluids had not been topped off. I heard the manager call the other location and tell them I was the second person THAT DAY that didn't have their tire pressure checked or fluids checked. While I'm VERY dissatisfied and disappointed about what happened on Harrison Avenue, I'm grateful for the guys at the Colerain location for making things right.

From the second I pulled in until I left was a total of 5 minutes! Was immediately greeted by one of the employees who introduced himself and asked what I needed. I let him know I just needed new wind shield wipers. He gave me the options and didn't pressure me to go with the more expensive option. I picked the cheaper option which was $12/wiper for a total cost of $24. Another employee changed the wipers while he got my payment. I didn't have to get out of my car at all and would certainly go back again!

And THE MOST DISTURBING ISSUE was when a kind motorist pulled me over only 3/4 of a mile after leaving Quick Lane, stating my rear tire was wobbling.... When I looked, THREE, yes THREE Lug Nuts were missing and the other Three were only finger tight. If it weren't for that observant motorist, I may have been severely injured if I got onto the highway as planned in addition to avoiding significant damage to my vehicle! Upon arrival, the lady and gentleman at the desk were friendly and welcoming. I asked for oil change, tire rotation, and wheel alignment. Estimated wait time was about 1-1.5hrs. They had to squeeze me in due to me needing to reschedule so I wasn't too worried about waiting a bit longer. Waiting room was clean and comfortable, bathrooms were clean. At the hour mark the gentleman updated me on where they were at with my car and apologized for not having it ready. My car was completed within an hour and a half from the time I dropped it off. They didn't take advantage of me and add on stupid services I didn't need (I asked for a wheel alignment and didn't need it) and they provided me with all the paperwork for the checks they performed on the car. The few other customers waiting with me seemed to be pleased with their service and everyone was treated with respect by the employees. Prices aren't bad either, they have deals running online and have an app you can earn points on to put towards future deals. I'll definitely be returning to this location for my vehicle maintenance. I used to trust Meineke in Harrison! I've had work done by them for years on several different…read morecars. They are always friendly..... But recently I had front brakes in April and rear brakes in Dec replaced. But I still felt vibration when braking hard. Took the car back to Meineke and was told that I needed a new control arm and that they would put new pads on because I'm such a loyal customer. Also was asked if I wanted to pay over $1000.00 since they ordered the control arm from Kia. I told them that I won't pay until work is done. I took the car elsewhere to have a 2nd opinion. I did not need a control arm and that since there is still vibration- the brakes were probably not installed properly. I went back to Meineke because the brakes have a warranty. They checked again and said the brakes were good and when questioned about the control arm they said well, it's been replaced. We saw on car fax that it was replaced. They were not replaced - only inspected! They were trying to scam me out of over $1000.00! I will definitely not ever go back there!!

When you show they go ahead and attempt to work you in. What actually happens they attempt to do what they can when you show up. 8 o'clock appt. You are lucky to get out by noon for job of less than 2 hours. I made the appt. So they could order the tires would not have to wait, but of course they would have had to order the tires. The same thing happened at the Harrison location and the Hebron location. Never again
