The de-weeding was worse, and for 3 weeks straight one weed grew up to about a foot tall before we just picked it. After the 3rd time complaining they said they would no longer service our neighborhood because they can't find good help, and gave us a $20 credit. They didn't want to "hurt their reputation". But it gets worse. I'm not sure if it was malicious intent or sheer incompetence, but that last trip they clearly cut the grass far too short and basically killed it. In the photo you can see the healthy green spot where the soils is lower and got cut the right height. The rest of the yard is dead and hands down the worse house on the block. This photo is a few weeks since the prior cut and just now starting to come back. This company is the literal worst. They charge more and literally will kill your yard, then give you a $20 refund.

We never discussed cost etc. since it was a preliminary discussion on our landscaping project. Very disappointing service. Lack of communication is a huge red flag. We found another company and never looked back.

Told me it would take one day it took 5 days (weather was not an issue). Tore down 2 sides of fence and had a mess everywhere - even in the neighbor's yard (see pic - I was worried that someone would get hurt with the exposed nails.) And left the side open to neighbors for 2 days. Did not haul off all the old posts. Had asked them to use screws (multiple times and was assured they would) when putting the panels back on - they used a nail gun mostly and some of the panels are already falling off (it has been only a couple days). They finished after dark, so I stupidly was unable to inspect a final time. I emailed them and asked them to come back, but they are not responding.

A complete remodel with 2 retaining walls, new irrigation, sod, zero-scaping, a flagstone patio, hot tub, rebuilt deck, pergola, kitchenette, bar top, and electrical. Andy did an excellent job managing the project, paying attention to detail, and staying as close to schedule as possible. He gave us sufficient time after the job was complete to test the final product, make fixes, etc., before taking full payment. He went above and beyond to make sure to stay within budget and give us a beautiful final product. Before going with Andy we got quotes from 2 other landscapers. Rockview Landscaping's quote was in the middle. We didn't go with the cheapest option because Andy felt more trustworthy and willing to stay close to our vision. Additionally, the cheapest quote came from a larger national landscaping firm. It felt impersonal. We wanted to help a local business instead. The pictures speak for themselves. We included some before pictures as well so you can see how awful our backyard used to be, and how complete the remodel is. The slope in our backyard was very steep, making the lawn space completely unusable. The deck was rotting and painted over with an ugly green color. We cannot believe how much flat lawn space we have now, and the patio, hot tub, deck layout is beautiful and functional.

We have less than a quarter acre in a subdivision, but paid them for mulch, a grass cut, and lawn treatment (you get three treatments) to get rid of some problem areas. This first visit totaled over $500 (most of the cost going to the lawn treatment) The first service was amazing. The mulch looked great, I know it was hard work for those guys. Two weeks had passed and I wondered when they were coming back, they said that they were doing the rotation every three weeks. The next week comes, and I hadn't heard anything, so I inquired and they said I was on the schedule the next day. After that cut, I noticed that they didn't apply any lawn treatment, and they had missed large parts of my lawn. Travis apologized about missing the areas, but then said that the grass was too dry to apply the treatment. Understandable, but when were they going to tell me that? So I paid $48 and had to do the remaining edging and flat areas. Three weeks later, I get another cut and a lawn treatment. This time the service was spot on. ($48 all said for the cut. Lawn treatment was paid for up front) Three weeks later, due for my next cut, absolutely nothing from them. At this rate, I cut the lawn myself. I pay the $50 precisely so I DON'T have to worry and babysit I let it ride for another week until the Friday after Labor Day, I don't hear anything so I texted Travis. He said that they were closed over the labor day holiday for four days, and they were playing catchup, but they "had me for this week." At this point, it has been FOUR WEEKS with no correspondence. I'm in over $600 to this company, I've only had 2/3 lawn treatments completed, and one of the scheduled cuts I had to finish myself, and I guess I'm just out of the extra $100 or so for the services they didn't complete. Tons of other options for a lower price. I'd heard from another friend that had the service that a similar thing happened, but at that time it was a "family emergency" but no correspondence was left and they just stopped showing up. All that said, this company would be fantastic if they just kept their customers up to date and had the appropriate backoffice talent to schedule appointments, track services rendered and keep things moving.
