    White lightning wings

The white lightning sauce on the wings is worth going back for. Great beer variety. Great service and ambiance.

    Swordfish special - delicious!

Joined 20 of my friends for an evening out - it was an hot night but everyone had a great time! Thank you to the wait staff, bartender and the amazing kitchen staff (chef). I ordered the swordfish special and it was the best swordfish I've ever eaten.

Great meal - we had the deviled eggs, smoked turkey, brisket, salmon, sweet potato fries, lots more & carrot cake + a great beer selection!

I had visitors from FL this weekend - they enjoyed dinner at Hill Creek Tavern so much on Friday asked if we could go back on Saturday! Absolutely ... my favorite place - glad I could share it with 'out-of-towners'. We enjoyed great menu options, friendly staff and even music on Friday!

Went to the soft opening this evening (prior to the grand opening). Formerly where Brunswick BBQ & Brew was located. They had a great list of beer on tap. A really good menu that is more than just a typical pub menu. In addition to regular wings, they have seitan wings, seared shishito peppers, crab cakes, and you will probably find the owner outside smoking savory BBQ. There is a great bar space inside. Outside is the best though. There are tables out on the patio. An extra large gazebo, and huge lawn area with fire pits! Even though the address is a Troy address, it is actually located in the town of Brunswick. This is so nice when you want a great alternative from being downtown Troy or Albany. It's peaceful and relaxing. Best of luck to Kevin and Ashley with the new venture.

Wings, fries, very dry and sauce-broken Mac and cheese, pizza w/ broccoli.

We love it here. Good food close to home! Diverse options and good barbecue. But it's much more than BBQ! Friendly staff also!

Moving upstairs Cordelia presented each wine in great detail describing its origin and why it was coupled with the corresponding course. Evidently this was the first time the chef had prepared a Persian meal which was truly outstanding, authentic in taste, textures and presentation, the service and attention to detail was first class, thanks to everyone at Jagerberg for a delightful and memorable experience.

Ive been to Germany a few times and can say this is authentic. The chicken schnitzel with jager sauce is so flavorful and rich. The jager sauce is a dark brown mushroom sauce (similar to a Marsala). The name jager means huntsman. Substituted the seasonal vegetable (carrot and asparagus) for the cabbage which was so delicious. The meal is hearty and rich. The staff was wonderful. The Apple strudel was one of the best desserts I've ever had with cinnamon ice cream. I can only imagine how cozy this place is during the fall and winter. Absolutely worth the price.

My boyfriend liked several of their beers so he opted for a flight of four - their Brown Ale, Red Ale, Extra Special Bitter and Ordinary Bitter. I went with a glass of carbonated Sangria from a Niskayuna-based winery, Capoccia Wines. I had no idea Niskayuna even had a winery! He really liked their beers and I loved the Sangria - it was so refreshing and fruity. It's super spacious with a bar area and adjoining room with more tables and corn hole. They had signage for a corn hole league that just ended. They also have an attached store with equipment for home brewing. Highly recommend stopping through! We loved chatting with Roger about the brewery and about his travels too.

The tasting room is in the larger portion of a strip mall on Route 4. The seating at the bar is very cozy, and on your left you have a larger, very well maintained, area with tables and the rest room. The beer is good here, and so is the art of conversation, which, to me, is equally important at a brewery. They let us sample a few items before settling in on our chosen pours. I loved the eclectic setting, and for me you can't go wrong with 60s and 70s music (yeah, I was around for all of it).
