Huge place with different rooms that look like they haven't changed since the 1950s. Friendly bartender. Ok wings. Nice outdoor area but it wasn't open when we went. Jukebox was on. Not much else to say. Definitely a place for the dive bar aficionado.

We've been here a few times, the most memorable being the pig roast last autumn, in which we dressed our 1 month old as a bear. It's a tavern that caters to the biker crowd, with decent food (medium rare is medium rare, though the fries were a little soggy and the French dip wasn't great) and cold drinks. On a hot summer day, what you really want is a great cold drink, with something to soak up the alcohol, and this place wins. It's not as hip as Zeitgeist in San Francisco, but it doesn't need to be. No one here is pretentious and it's really laid back and comfortable. If your baby's sock falls off, someone will let you know. Oddly family friendly, though I don't think I'll take my baby back once it gets dark out, though it's definitely the type of place I'd love to go to if I wanted some real shots (not silly, girly shots, btw). 4 beers and 2 entrees set us back $30, including tax and tip, while the pig roast, with all sides included, was about $10/head for fantastic pulled pork+all sides (all you could eat), with tap beer ~$2-4/ice cold pint. Good biker bar. Occasional pig roast, car and motorcycle shows. I've never had a bad meal here. Good staff. Always a good time. Roll on in.

45 minute wait for food, pizza was shit, and unless you are starving with nothing to do all day, don't come here.

I don't usually go out in Levittown and was already annoyed when we walked into Sparkys. Well, what a pleasant surprise! The fever dream of a 1990's dive bar come to life. It was all these christmas lights hanging up in the midst of giant inflatables and a live DJ on a Friday night. The ladies at the bar were friendly enough and we took our drinks by the pool table to wait our turn to play. Fair warning, playing pool here is not for beginners and the game is taken way more seriously than I anticipated. Thankfully the crowd was super friendly and we were chatting with most of the people playing pool as we enjoyed our drinks. They even played Elvis Crespo's Sauvemente at one point so we felt very welcomed! The only star I'm taking off is for the indoor smoking. As someone who went out during the smoking era all through the 2000's, I never realized how horrid that was. Even worse how bad it was when you got home and had to bathe and wash your coat and everything you owned. Otherwise, I very much recommend Sparky's for a night out, and hope to see them agan in the future.

We went on a Tuesday night which was BOGO burger night, and it was surprisingly (to us for a Tuesday) crowded. The inside looks like it hasn't changed since it opened 40 years ago, and it reminds me of the bar in the show Cheers. When I initially saw the menu online before going, I thought the prices seemed pretty steep. However, once I saw the portion sizes of the entrees and the cocktails, it made sense. We've already gone back a second time within a month, and it was so hard not to order the fish tacos and fries again, they were that good!

She just looked at us when we said we didn't want lemon in them and made no move to correct it. We ordered a Jersey burger and a regular hamburger, both medium rare. They both came out well done. We probably should have sent them back but that would have meant getting up and trying to find a server. The prices have gone up and the Kaiser rolls were much larger than the burger. It wasn't worth the price they were charging, especially since they only offer potato chips with the burger unless you want to pay an up charge which is strange since most of their other sandwiches come with fries.

The chicken wings had a good crisp, the side salad I asked for was fresh, the cheese steak roll was pillowy soft and was nicely cheesy, and most importantly, the gentleman behind the bar who took our order was a fantastically nice guy The cons. The garlic parm sauce on the wings were a bit lacking and the amount of meat on the cheese steak was only half enough to really fill that long roll. And the most irksome thing was the 2,23 % "technology fee". No offense but WTH is that?????? If it was to use the credit card, it wasn't explained at all. Look, if you like a funky bar with good food and you are in the area, I would say check it out once in your life and form your opinion. But, for me, I just don't know how often
