We needed to have all the smoke/carbon monoxide detectors replaced in our home. I called on a Thursday and left a message. About an hour later, John called back and explained we would be put on his "Hit or Miss List" (Meaning if there was time at the end of the day, he would call and come by to do the job, otherwise an actual appointment might be in a couple weeks). He tried to come by the next day, but we were out. Over the weekend we were hit by 20" of snow with roads impassable through Monday. On Tuesday morning he called and said he could be right over. He came and finished replacing all 7 detectors AND installed new LED bulbs AND fixed wiring on a cellar fixture in 45 minutes! FAST! Friendly! Excellent communication! Efficient and tidy! All work through the past few years has been done equally well and the charges were very reasonable...we have yet to be billed but expect them to be fair. However, several emails and phone calls and weeks later, I am still trying to get an answer from them that they would take the job and schedule. Had wanted to do business with them, but it seems they are not interested. Frustrating. A simple "no, we are too busy right now" would have been more polite, professional and I would not have lost so many weeks of time waiting for them. read more

These guys are phenomenal. Called several places and John was the only one that offered to visit to give me an accurate quote. His quote was competitive and I went with them. On the day of installment, they showed up on time and did a great job replacing and installing multiple lights inside and out. They were very courteous and left the place clean. One of them dropped one of the new lights and it broke, so they automatically called the light place and ordered a new one to be delivered. They came back and installed it in no time. Bill was great as well with the invoice and following up. They are busy, so expect to wait a bit to get them but I would rather wait and have the job done right. Highly recommended. read more

We bought our home in the fall of 2018, a 100+ year old colonial with great bones and a lot of small projects to take care of. The house had been in the same family since it was built, and we had some older wiring techniques that our home inspector said should be addressed right away. Very bad customer service. Difficult to schedule an appointment, and when they finally came, they had the wrong part. Six weeks later, I'm still waiting for my light to be fixed. No status updates, and a whole lot of attitude from the technician. I'd look elsewhere. read more
