Selection for glasses fully covered by insurance is very poor. Was handed glasses with loose arms on them. Had to return to have fixed. The prescription is wierd, I will try for a few more weeks to see if it gets better. read more

We came here for our first eye exam in years.... When we walked in, we noticed the place to be very clean. Not even a garbage can is seen in the open. The front desk customer service rep greeted us with a smile. We were told to fill out paperwork which was only a page and then our glasses were taken away from us. That was a first experience for me. We then sat back down until we were taken to get our pressure checked in our eyes then taken into meet the doctor in her officer for another examination. Doctor was very nice. Dilated my eyes which I'm not a fan of then paid the extra 40 dollars to do the contact examination. Figure haven't done one ever or not in the last god knows how long. We ended up buying a new pair of glasses with blue blocker and anti-glare. Workers seemed nice overall. We'll be back. read more

Appointment was easy to make. I had a pain in the inner canthus of my left eye which was causing quite a bit of discomfort. The appointment was scheduled the next day. Dr. Hahn checked my eye and concluded that it was caused by the nasal pad. He reset the pad and it felt better. I followed up with an eye exam and selection of new glasses. Broad selection of frames and my selection is what I was looking for. Staff was great to work with. Excellent visit - highly recommend Hillmoor optical. Price is competitive. read more

They are great. My mother-in-law had an expensive pair of frames. She got in Russia and they broke we ordered the same frame and when they got in, we took them to Hillmoor optical, and they were able to put her old lenses in the new frame quick and easy. Thank you so much. read more

I went here bc of the reviews. Dr was kind, I liked her. Receptionist was nice as well. The problem came when I went to get my contacts ordered, the girl who was working with me, told me that my contacts would come with a $75 rebate. So I went ahead with the order. However, while she was trying to find the rebate, she was taking an extra long time and then even called over one of the techs, and they didn't seem very clear getting the info to me, but said once I received the contacts, I will be contacted by their Marlo system and be able to apply for the rebate which would come in the form of a gift card. it definitely seemed strange that neither of them could give me any more information at that time but I just let it go because I figured they knew what they were doing. I received the email from Marlo, but there was nothing in it about a rebate but I decided to wait until my shipment arrived so that I could see if there was something in the box to help with the rebate. When the shipment arrived, there was nothing in the box except the contacts. I reached out to the office and was told that the particular contact brand that I wear was not offering a rebate. This was very upsetting. I asked her to reach out to the girl who I dealt with that day to find out why I was misled about a rebate. She called me back and stated that again, they got it wrong, there was no rebate with these particular contacts and no offer to make it right. Had they stated at the beginning there was no rebate, I would have made different arrangements towards the amount of contacts I purchased that day. I think the way this was handled was poorly and doesn't reflect on the doctor, but it does reflect on the fact that they don't standby what they said. If you don't have the correct information, do your research before you offer information that may not be available to the customer. Again, I could tell it was taking an extremely long time for them to get this rebate information to me, but I assumed they knew what they were doing. Instead, they apparently did not see a rebate and just assumed, relaying that to me. I'm extremely disappointed by the unprofessionalism of the tech that worked with me. I would've expected them to make it right as $75 nowadays is a tank of gas or one bag of groceries. They shouldn't mess with customer's money like that. read more

Penny Tawse was so helpful. She fitted me in a very subtle frame and worked within my insurance allowances. I had no idea which frame was best suited for my face. She knew right away which style, color, and frame was best. I am very happy with my new glasses and the assistance I received here. Everyone was very helpful and many styles to choose from. Eyes are important, and when something goes wrong it is pretty scary. I saw Dr. Jessica Lund in a medical emergency with my eye and they fit me in asap. The care and concern i received from the doctor as well as her team was impeccable and i cant say enough about how supportive it was. They did everything they could but when it was neccesary to go to the ER for IV antibiotics they also did not hesitate to make it clear that that was absolutely necessary in this case. I have been going to Hillmore Optical for 13 years. They always make sure my glasses are fitted perfectly. I had an issue with a pair of frames that I was allergic to. They took them back and let me try frames to see what I could wear with no reaction. They care about their customers and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your glasses. I also have my exam here. I would never go anywhere else. I can stop in and have them adjust my glasses after I sleep on them. They smile and make sure they are adjusted properly. My wife and I have been getting glasses at the big discount stores for years, and decided to see if there was a difference. We both bought Crizal lenses. We are amazed at the difference. I never expected it. Easier to keep clean and a really quality lense. I had a problem with a lense a year and a half later ( my own doing) and they replaced both lenses, no questions, no charge.
