There is absolutely no store like this and truly unique finds. I send all my family and friends here. Not only that, but Sue the owner also does custom arrangements and interior design. I've often come in showing her pictures of a room, and she curates and designs a space on the spot. Sue truly has an incredibly rare talent and eye for design that cannot be imitated. Other stores may try to duplicate her looks, but they don't even come close! Sue is the real deal, and is always ahead of the trends - often setting her own. She has really great pieces, and love to support women owned business. Go check her out, you'll never go anywhere else!!

I was immediately interested because of the name of the shop and also because I love checking out gift shops and supporting small businesses. It was towards the end of my lunch break so I didn't have the time to check it out, but went on their website and was very impressed by it so I made it a point to stop by today. The store is tucked away in a plaza with other stores so there is plenty of parking. When I entered the store, I was immediately greeted by the owner, Sharon, who was very kind, helpful, inspirational, and super down to earth. She told me the store was just opened last month so she is still in the process of getting merchandise for it. I would not have known if she didn't tell me as there were plenty of cute items available for purchase throughout the store. She gave me a little tour of the store and showed me the various different items that she had for sale without ever being pushy. She explained that she tries to sell things that are locally made which I absolutely love. We talked quite a bit and I found her journey to be very inspiring. Without having any knowledge or experience of owning and running a business, she took the risks that come along with it to follow her passion and do what it is that she loves. The store itself is very cute. The decor is clean and refreshing. She has various different items for sale including home decor, gifts, jewelry, pet items, candles, etc. Being a vegan, I was very pleased to see that she also had some vegan items for sale such as vegan leather handbags and vegan chapsticks/ lip glosses. I highly recommend this place if you are looking to buy a gift for someone or even to treat yourself. I left there with some candles and home decor. I didn't even know if they could be repaired or would have to be replaced. I was warmly greeted by Lynn, who assured me the window treatments could definitely be repaired and would not need replacement for a long time. She scheduled a repair appointment for next week. No one showed up, and I was left waiting at home with no apparent notice that the appointment would not be kept. I contacted HomeTrends afterward and expressed my frustration about the missed appointment and the time I had wasted. I was initially told they would arrange for someone else to come out. Instead, the owner subsequently told me that it would be better for me to take my business to another blinds company and that they no longer wanted to work with me. That response surprised me. A missed appointment can happen. What mattered more to me was how the company handled it afterward. Rather than apologizing, taking responsibility, and trying to make things right, their solution was essentially to tell the customer to go elsewhere. There are plenty of companies selling and installing window treatments. Based on my experience, I would choose one that is more reliable, respects its customers' time, and makes customers feel that their business is valued. BTW, they did tell me if I wrote a negative review that "I was a bad person". Well, this review is only intended to give you, the consumer, an insight to my experience. I am not sure that constitutes me as being a "bad" person, but again maybe insight to how HomeTrends perceives upset customers verse working out an amendable solution.

There is always so much product to shop from so make sure you have time if you're coming the shelves are always stocked. There's always plenty of people working the register however you may end up standing in a large line. Honestly, it's hit or miss on how fast the line goes. I have noticed they always have the best selections of kid clothing at this location. There's plenty of parking, but it is a pretty busy parking lot with multiple other stores. The prices are good and there's always multiple clearance racks to shop for if that's your thing. Highly recommend coming to this location if you're in the area.
