Some of the best wings in the area, and some of the worst service ive ever experienced. Lady acted like she hated life and our table. We waited over an hour for a paltry amount of food and she never came by to ask if we needed a refill on drinks, just plopped a pitcher of water on the table and tossed us a paper bag for the bones, along with only two wetnaps for four people. I'm tempted to order a pizza for delivery to this spot cuz these wings are taking a long ass time. They must be having trouble catching the chicken and killing it. Biggest and baddest wings I have ever had! These wings are giant. They are borderline drumsticks! The chickens they use must have been bred for wing size. They have many different awesome sauces to choose from as well. Gunslinger is a unique white garlic sauce that I really like. Plenty of hot, sweet, and sticky sauces too. They are very generous with the sauce. Let me reassure you these wings are deep fried to a glorious crispiness that blows your mind if your a wing-lover. You can't beat the prices either. No seriously come for the wings, don't even think about ordering something else, Get wings! and maybe fries and some ice cold beverages. This spot is definitely off the beat and path but you won't regret it. Its basically small basement bar with some extra seating behind it. I've also eaten on the back patio too, not bad on nice day. We stumbled onto this gem while traveling in the area for a show choir competition at Buckeye Local High School. WOW!! We went to college across the river and always loved another establishment's wings more than any other. We asked our server if their wings are as good as the Inn's and she said they are better. Skeptical, but ever the wing lovers we ordered some. I can assuredly say that the wings at Hillsboro Grill and Tavern are the best wings we have ever had! The "Richard Cranium" sauce is DELICIOUS and I ate it with my amazing fresh cut fries! Our four member party loved everything we ate! The burgers are delicious (I got one with pierogies on it!) and the fresh cut fries are perfect! We loved our server - we loved everything! We WILL be back! I went here a few times in the late 2000s with friends for beer and wings. I had wings, and they were great. This spot is, in my opinion, even better than Drover's Inn in Wellsburg, WV, in case you're in Steubenville/Weirton and looking for a good hangout with great wings. Service seems to steady get worse exspecially if jay isnt there. Wendy is the worst waitress ive ever had any where. Ud think shed take the hint when u dont tip her. Instead she just gets worse. Tonight it took 15 minutes to get our first drinks and over an hour to get our appetizer of zuccini strips. Even still longer to get my wifes salad... How long does it take to make a salad? Well they didnt waste time breaking the lettuce up as in was in big clumps she had to cut her salad with a knife. 5 minutes after her salad came my shrimp finally showed up now an hour and 10 minutes into our visit. We ordered crab cakes too but they were out of those. So after spliting the zuccini with my wife and eating my shrimp my beer glass was empty i was still hungry and couldnt bare sitting another hour waiting on food. So i had to get up go to the bar and ask for my bill after waiting hopelessly for our waitress to come. We left hungry. I love this place. The fish is hand breaded and made to order and it's fantastic and large portions. The wings are huge fresh good price and the sauce is served on the side so they don't get slimy the beer battered fries are delicious. Prices and atmosphere is great. Also try the pastrami sandwich it is yummy. Everything I've eaten here is good. U just can't go wrong read more

I have eaten a lot of wings in my day and these are hands-down the best! Seriously, I've probably been to over 100 different wing places in my lifetime and there is no question. I like a good Cayanne butter-based hot sauce and I like it really hot. Hot sauce here is great in anything hotter than hot is too much for even my daringtastes.
