No music, just basketball on telly and some loud 2pm drunks drinking and eating some deliciously smelling food. You couldn't help but over hear the conversation. Apparently some Italian food from a market called Federico's. We were not invited to join in the food and the aroma was to die for, but we had some Superior Pasta for lunch, so I was still full. So we thought we may get pushback for subbing out American cheese on the mushroom Swiss burger. Our waitress got them to do it, but it's weird that they are so hardcore about it. It was also during covid and none of the staff had on masks. Yes, we were outside. But it would've been more comfortable if they looked like they were being careful. But the cons ended there. The pros? We had a larger crowd so we ordered the sweet potato fries, zucchini planks and the peel and eat shrimp for appetizers. All were really good. We had the hangover burger, garlic and parm wings, mushroom American cheese burger, italian sub and the turkey club. All were really good. The fries were absolutely delicious. Sitting outside on the river was great. The food more than makes up for the cons. It's worth the try. Pretty good.

The wings were fried to perfection and still so crispy when they got out to me. I didn't think the sauce was very flavorful. So, I'd definitely try a different one next time. My boyfriend enjoyed his wings and hot dog. This was my first time in and I was impressed with the local sports memorabilia covering the walls and the numerous tvs spread throughout the two separate dining areas. I was seated right away and ordered a happy hour glass of red wine. Since it was an Irish Pub, I had to try their Irish Potato Soup. The soup came out just hot enough and was topped with chives, bacon and cheese. It was a very good soup and packed with potato chunks. I ordered the McCarthy's Pub Steak, a 10 oz. strip loin, which was topped with rosemary compound butter, served with a side of heavenly mashed potatoes and green beans. The steak was delightful, and although slightly overcooked, it was still a very good steak. The Green beans were fresh and firm and cooked perfectly, and were a great accompaniment to the steak. On their beer menu, I noticed they carried a Canadian beer from Unibroue Brassery in Quebec, which I thought was really cool.
