    Chicken sandwich
    Jason F.

I stopped by here earlier today by myself for lunch. While I had seen Beer Code a number of times before, this was my first chance to actually stop and get food. This restaurant is part of the center core in the Pittsburgh airport. The inside of the restaurant is open and looks like a modern diner mixed with a sports bar. There were rows of red cushioned chairs, a long bar backed by shelves with beer taps and bottles, white tile pillars, low hanging dome lights, and multiple TVs that give it a sports bar feel. After looking over the menu I decided on the chicken sandwich. The menu here did have a lot of local beers which was nice and while I was tempted, it didn't make sense for me on this day. It described my chicken sandwich as hand breaded and fried on a brioche bun with pickles, ranch and lettuce but I got it without the ranch. My food came out somewhere between 10 and 15 minutes after I ordered and it was pretty good. I was a little worried about the sandwich being dry without the ranch but that was not the case. It was juicy and had some flavorful spices in the breading. The bun was clearly toasted and the pickles added some salt and wetness while the lettuce helped with the moisture content. My fries were well seasoned and crispy on the outside yet soft on the inside. At 18 dollars it was a bit more than I would normally pay, but being at the airport you expect things to cost more. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. It was not a cheap fried chicken sandwich but it was tasty and the fries were good as well.

Beercode is a casual restaurant that is located in the Pittsburgh International Airport. Its menu lists appetizers (e.g., hummus, pretzel, and caesar salad), mains (e.g., chicken and waffles, salmon, and pierogies), and alcoholic beverages (e.g., beers, cocktails, and wines). While my husband and I were waiting to board our flight, we ate dinner at Beercode. The seating host and the waitress served us promptly and politely. Many clean tables and chairs were available. I ate the Beercode Burger, and my husband ate the Turkey Club. Both sandwiches tasted fresh and good. Our fries were slightly too crispy but also tasted good.

Pierogies with homemade Dijon sour cream sauce-yum!!

Really delicious pierogies even considering we're in the airport! Wonderful service with attentive waitresses and a reasonably priced kids menu. We enjoyed our meal and had time to catch a bit of a World Cup match on one of their many tv screens!

We stopped in for a pre flight beer and app. The variety of local beers on tap was pleasantly surprising and our waiter/server was very friendly and prompt. He quickly brought me a generous sample to help me decide on a beer and he was fast to get our food order in. We decided to split the shrimp, edamame, and carrot appetizer plate and it was tasty! I enjoyed the crunch and the shrimp were more plentiful than we expected for the price/location. The space itself is clean, bright, and they have a decent amount of tables. The bar and bar seating isn't very large, though.

Solid airport choice! French fries were SO good. Burgers were great - just enough and the blue cheese Burger was very tasty. Friendly server who even offered us drinks to go! Really clean and spacious as well for an airport spot. Pepsi products. Would recommend!

I highly recommend the burgers and also, the fish. The food never disappoints and they have great service. 10/10

Walking in the girl who greeted us was so sweet, she scanned us all in and was truly pleasant and seemed to enjoy her job, wonderful first impression! The lounge was quite big with multiple rooms, a full bar, bathrooms/ showers, the food offers were not a ton but what they did offer was good, great salad bar, which i really appreciated after eating out for the last few days I needed something green! A few soups, spinach Artichokes dip with chips, and perogies! Yum! With all the fixings too, onions, bacon, sauerkraut and sour cream. So good! Lots of space to sit and enjoy, plenty of plugs to charge up too. Great way to spend you layover.

Visited this lounge when visiting Pittsburgh prior to our morning flight…read more It was easy to enter with the priority pass and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Ample seating was available initially didn't see the large open area where the bar is Food options for the morning were decent. Got a bagel, muffin, yogurt, and they had sausage, egg, hot oats, cereal and drinks available and a soda fountain for other drinks. They had a full bathroom too which was neat. Overall a decent place to hang out before a flight.
