We saw 2 alpacas and 2 pigs only. We needed to pay to feed them which is fine but the amount of food they gave you is insulting. Alpacas didn't even want to eat so we just threw the food at the pigs.

I would love to volunteer myself too if I lived closer! Aside from events like the open house and summer camps for kids, the best way to get acquainted with the Little Parrot Farm is through their affordable tours on Saturdays. While it may be frustrating for some that you can't just go in and see the animals any day, it really is in their best interest that a staff member is there to supervise these interactions. Too many places allow visitors to harass their animals or feed them random stuff that isn't good for them. And if an animal reacts defensively, it can be very difficult and sad to handle the aftermath. It's also amazing just seeing the same animals every time, and not being worried that anyone is going to be taken to slaughter. My favorite friends are Andy the alpaca, the two sweet pigs, and Maya the rescued border collie. I don't know the names of some of the newer pups, but they were all super friendly. They sell T shirts with their most popular residents featured on them that make for great souvenirs to take home. The farm part of the property is also beautiful and abundant. They sell fresh veggies online for pickup that look amazing, but that I haven't had a chance to try yet. Can't wait to come back for the next event!

Probably the worst Oktoberfest that I've ever been to. I thought it was going to be really big…read morebecause it was at Fairplex, but they were actually sharing the venue with another event. There were food vendors and a couple fair activities. The best thing to do was watch the entertainment, but even that was not great. Nothing was very traditional, which I was disappointed about. The food was very overpriced and not good. I was extremely disappointed by the pretzel with cheese. The cheese was flavorless and had the texture of Kraft mac & cheese cheese. Overall, I would not recommend this festival and I would not come back again.

It's a few dollars cheaper online compared to day of. They check ID and have bag check up front for saftey. Dressing up is not mandatory but adds to the atmosphere. Drinks range from $17-$25 for beer depending on if you want a cup or souvenir plastic stein. There venue is both indoor and out, so if you're outside wear layers like a thin flannel or cardigan. There are plenty of beer and food booths so lines go fast. I really like the outdoor stage where polka band lead by Festmeister Hans played a variety of oldies and modern hits with a polka twist. I feel like it's a welcoming environment, like how everyone on St. Patty's day can participate in drinking although not of Irish decent... everyone can drink together although not of German decent. Getting a giant pretzel with cheese sauce and a bratwurst with sauerkraut is almost as mandatory as the beer just expect to pay a premium price. It's something to do for the fall and and good for groups, just go early if you want a seat at a table.

We also took some cool pictures at the stage that they have. Honestly I had no idea what to expect but my group had such an amazing time. There was 15 of us and we played about 5 games in a span of our 1 hour time slot. Our game master was so great, she had great vibes and was very informative with all of our questions. Either i'm old or out of shape (or a mixture of both) but i was huffing and puffing between the games and I think the timeframe per game was good. The breaks inbetween helped a lot too LOL Can't wait to be back. The missions were really fun!

However once they gave us a tour and sat us in the "war room" to explain the rules I knew I should have drank pre workout or something. once you enter the "battle grounds" where the laser tag begins you are walking quickly, throwing yourself against the walls, ducking, listening and everyone not on your team is an enemy. Like literally cheers to this company because this was an amazing time. My groups was a good mix of men and women and we all were sweating and needing hydration during. Can't wait to go back

They offer some great deals for local residents as well as on weeknights. We stopped by here the other night after my birthday dinner. It was a little chilly and windy, but there were so many cool things to see and do here. Talk about a plethora of options for photo ops and selfies! The Wizard of Oz theme is cool. There's a couple rooms that don't seem to follow the theme, which helps mix it up a bit. There's also a "circus" which looks like a lot of BMX and dirt bikes. We heard it and saw some of the performance, but it's a very small area of the attraction, so we were more interested in everything else. We ended up staying here almost two hours and they were getting ready to close. This is definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something fun and different to do in the area.

I especially loved the live show; such talented individuals. There was a contortionist, a juggler, hula hooper snd and a guy that spins a large metal box in the air!
