Our stay didn't quite go as planned, but I still wanted to leave a review because great customer service deserves to be recognized. We checked in after a fun day at Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, and everything was smooth and welcoming. After heading out for dinner, a widespread power outage hit the area. Unfortunately, the hotel was affected as well. We waited for a couple of hours hoping the power would come back on, but eventually decided to check out. The outage itself wasn't anyone's fault, and that's not why I'm writing this review. What stood out to me was how the hotel staff handled an unexpected situation that was completely beyond their control. A special thank you to Maddie (or Madelyn) at the front desk. She was juggling what I'm sure was a very stressful evening, yet she remained patient, professional, and genuinely kind to everyone she helped. It's easy to provide good service when everything is going smoothly--it's much harder when things go wrong. She handled it with grace, and it did not go unnoticed. So many things went wrong during our stay. I booked through a third-party website (Vio), but upon arrival, the hotel informed me that Vio had only sent over a reservation for one king bed. When I contacted Vio, they never confirmed that information had been communicated correctly to the hotel. Unfortunately, the hotel staff made no effort to resolve the issue and offered no apology for the inconvenience. To make matters worse, the front desk host simply handed us our room keys with no directions or explanation about the property. He also failed to provide the breakfast vouchers that were supposedly included with our reservation, forcing me to return to the front desk to ask for them myself. The following morning at checkout, I asked about breakfast and was told it had already closed at 11 a.m. No one had informed us where breakfast was served or what the operating hours were. We rushed to the restaurant, where Lia kindly greeted us. She asked for our breakfast vouchers, only to discover we were supposed to have one voucher per person or have the number of guests documented on the voucher. Thankfully, after verifying the situation, Lia still allowed us to take breakfast to go. She was the only staff member throughout our stay who was genuinely kind and helpful. Overall, the staff -- including the manager -- came across as rude and dismissive. We were also placed in an ADA room that I never requested. Not only were we shorted a bed, but the room itself felt old and poorly maintained. The bed was uncomfortable, and the pillows were completely flat. Because it was an ADA room, the shower had no ledge to contain the water, causing the entire bathroom floor to flood every time we showered. When I brought this concern to the manager's attention, I was told this was "normal" and that there should have been a drain in the middle of the bathroom floor -- there wasn't. The only drain was inside the shower area itself. Additionally, another family member in our group booked directly through the hotel by phone and was promised both a rollaway bed and breakfast. Upon arrival, they were told neither was included because it was not listed on the confirmation. As a result, our kids had to sleep on the floor. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience from start to finish. I will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to others. read more

I had a business meeting here and the front desk staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. They refused to take me up to the 10th floor, where the meeting was because they only allow one key per meeting slot which is ridiculous. The whole experience was completely lackluster, room service every 4 days??? $19 a day for a guest to park their car??? The parking gate that never worked and always needed to call for help??? Then there was a power outage on Saturday night and I called the front desk to ask if there was any provisions (a battery pack) for people who have medical equipment, nope, no dice... then on Sunday evening there were kids in the pool area screaming loudly for hours, that lasted until about 10:30, then the adults took over. We, husband and two kids, arrived here 3 days ago. The second day, my husband noticed dried blood on the floor and a bunch of spiderweb. I went to ask front desk to clean the room again pointing at the exact concerns. I also asked for extra towels. When we came back, the beds were made, but we didn't get extra towels. In fact, we were left with only two bath towels. The blood spatter (or whatever the hell that was) nor the spiderweb was cleaned. The heat/AC switch was sticky and noticeably dirty. Second day at the conference and was forced to pay for parking in order to leave. Had to go back and forth from car to gate and front desk for trial and error to figure out which was the right ticket to use even though payment was made the ticket didn't work at the exit gate. The front desk agent on the first night was helpful and just let us out. I'm guessing cause their hardware problems will cause delays and this is exactly what happened on subsequent nights. I booked into this Hilton because they served Thanksgiving dinner on Thanksgiving, when I was traveling. I didn't know anything else about the hotel. The hotel restaurant was cozy and beautiful. Thanksgiving dinner was great!!! My hotel room was very quiet, and the beds and pillows were super luxurious. The shower was quite elegant, with sliding glass doors and tile. The soap, shampoo '& conditioner is from Crabtree & Evelyn. It was also luxurious, making me want to order some. I recommend this hotel sell Crabtree & Evelyn for us hotel guests. The room card key is such that you need to use it in the elevators, which will only take you to your floor. I actually liked this very much. This is a classy hotel, for a classy room fee. We stayed over the weekend and immediately when getting in our room there was a spider on the bed and a spider hanging from the lamp on the nightstand. The bathroom was filthy. Light switch dirty, a TON of hair on the shower walls, the ceiling was repulsing- rust, dead bugs, splatters. Everything in the room was run down and not clean. I would not recommend this place. This HILTON was the worst of Hilton I ever went to. We reserve for my son wedding. I asked Grady, I am Hilton honor member, Could I use my Hilton honor to book. He told us, it was cheaper with the bulk prices. He gave the excuses 10 or 15% discount. $9.00 parking (50%). Well, I checked on the Hilton app and talked to Chante, Belinda. The blocked bulk reservation (same price) didn't include breakfast. Breakfast is $20/ person (with tax monthly re than $24..00). Each room has 2 person. So breakfast $24x2=$48.00. I gave my Hilton honor #, luckily Chante was nice and honest. She said I would get back $15x2=$30.00 for 2 rooms. So I still have to pay over $18.00. Then hospitality suites more than $350/ night (we rented 2 suites, with 2 additional connecting to the hospitality, and the other hospitality with 1 connecting room. All of the connecting rooms are additional charges. No Microwave, no utensils, no plates, No Kettle for boiling water. The charges are expensive. The President suite more than $450/ night, not had anything either. Wowwww. The Hotel carrying HILTON name. Please do not stay here! Not honest since the beginning. If I was told at the beginning, I can just call in to Hilton directly and earned points for more than 15-30 points, get free breakfast (even $18.00 after tax), what a dishonest Hotel. So disappointed. Hilton is a big name. But dishonesty with customers especially we booked for wedding block rooms are ruining Hilton name. read more

I have stayed at this hotel many times and usually recommend family members to stay there and sad to see how bad it has declined in upkeep and guest services!! On Friday our group has spent some time in the hot tub. Once we got out we realized the chlorine was so high it bleached the bottoms of the swim suits. We nicely went to the front desk and told them they needed to close the hot tub until the problem was fixed. Next afternoon the hot tub was still open. My husband who is a pool technician for a local pool company tested the pool and it was 2 time the legal limit. We went to the front desk and nicely insisted they shut it down for peoples safety. "Meanwhile I start having symptoms of chemical burns in a very sensitive place" I went to the front desk a few different times and asked to have a manager contact me and telling them that I have a chemical injury from their hot tub, and I was repeatedly told I would be contacted the next day around 6. That was supposed to be today and It is past 10:30pm and I never heard from anyone. Most of the people who I spoke to during our stay were dismissive, one of the front desk workers even rolled their eyes at me when I was explaining that I had a burn (except Madeline at checkout, she actually acted like she cared) The total disregard for their guests health and safety is disturbing for the fact that they didn't shut down the hot tub right away and then the total disregard for our belongings that were ruined and injury to my body was infuriating. There was not one offer for help or be of any assistance. Other things that stood out to me were - my niece went to the snack bar to purchase a snack and there was a moldy roll for sale. - the outlet the coffee maker was plugged into didn't work, and this isn't the first time I have noticed that outlets don't work at this hotel. -only one ice maker in the entire hotel is working. All the other ones are out of order. (Why don't you put some money back into your facility) -the pillows were old and flat. Worse ones than I've seen in a long time. -the plaster in the hot tub is old and worn out and needs to be redone so it is very scratchy to sit on. Needless to say we will not be returning to this hotel and they are a disgrace to the entire chain. Clean and fine for a night's stay. Staff is nice, bed is comfortable and room is pretty decent. Not thrilled with the traffic noise, but I keep my window open even though all they allow is about an inch or so with the window locks. They offer complimentary coffee and water, always appreciated. One star off for the maid walking into my room while I was in there still. We extended our check out time by an hour and apparently she didn't get the memo, luckily I was decent. Beautiful hotel and room is spacious with day bed and coffee table along the standard desk, bed, dresser and tv. There's coffee maker, mini fridge, and safe as well. Their trash can looks like a book rack(skinny) and it doesn't hold much. Then I found out late on my second day that they don't come clean the room daily unless I request it. They should have told me that at the check in... of course I'd want room cleaned daily! That's the point of staying in a hotel so you're not responsible for doing those household chores. My trash can was full so I pulled out the bag and it's now full too and I haven't been refilled on my cups so I couldn't make my morning soup nor coffee. I'm here attending the conference and so far I ate lunch and two dinners and I'm not impressed. The restaurant has an overpriced food... had some Asian shrimp noodle that had way too much sauce, little noodle and entirely not enough for a meal for $37. For conference lunch we were served a sandwich in a huge French roll... I'm trying to not eat too much carbs so ate only the slice of ham and cheese with mini (shot glass size) cup of fruits and left the macaroni salad. Dinner last night was a huge mound of mashed potatoes, big piece of very tender meat but was quickly disappointed that it was mostly big bones and fat. Not much edible parts to it. Few slices of sautéed red peppers and two bok choy. I was glad I went on a Trader Joe's run yesterday as I had a full bowl of salad after the dinner gala. If d known the food situation, I'd have eaten out on my own. There is a courtyard in the middle that's a good space for a little cocktail gathering. I have not checked out the pool nor workout room. I was in town for a wedding and the bride reserved blocked rooms at this hotel. I was not satisfied or impressed with my stay. Pros: - close to the freeway - various restaurants and shops within walking distance, there's even a large mall about a mile away - good breakfast buffet at the restaurant on the weekends for $22 (staff was friendly and prompt) Cons: - poor seal around the window resulting in air and outside noise coming through - poor renovation of the room with chipped wood around the cabinet, dirty carpet, stains on the bedsheets, and minimal room amenities (only got 2 towels in the bathroom, no cups, and no body lotion) - walls are thin and you can hear EVERYTHING in the hallway - they charge a ridiculous $19 per night to park in the outdoor, uncovered lot in front of the hotel - overpriced rooms even with the group rate (paid $179 per night but with tax and additional fees it was $200 per night) - it's hard to reach someone at the front desk (the phone often rang and rang with nobody picking up the line) - shady people coming in and out of the hotel, did not feel safe walking around by myself Despite being a Hilton honors member, I would not stay here again. read more

I was the only person in the place. Was told they close at 845, so I asked for a coffee and a burger, figuring easy. It's unfortunate that there have been a couple of bad reviews to make this rating so low because I had a great experience. I grew up in Walnut Creek and we hold the California speech and debate state tournament for college at this so very familiar with it. This time I wanted to get a room because I didn't wanna drive back-and-forth where I live now to judge both days and honestly, it was a great experience. First of all how they accommodate all of these college students who do the competition in the rooms is quite challenging and things went so well. Secondly, when I decided I wanted a room at the last minute they were so accommodating. Camille at the front desk was not only quick and efficient but a great conversation list and so much fun. She made sure that I got a room, did her best to get it cleaned and ready early for me, it was super quick at follow up and follow through. I wanted to love this place due to it's great location. However, this hotel is not up to Hilton standards. My family and I booked a pair of connecting rooms while visiting the area over the Thanksgiving holiday. We were greeted by friendly staff upon arrival. That's where the good experience ended. Both rooms were filthy. I spend 30+ nights a years in hotels and these rooms were some of the worst I've seen. The sheets were stained (see photo). The chaise in one of the rooms was covered in stains and what appeared to be animal hairs. It was too dirty to sit on. Had to use a bath towel as a seat cover. The rooms have very few amenities. A few small, thin towels were provided for each room. Not much else. We did not have a chance to visit the restaurant or bar. Both were closed every time we passed them. (Understandable considering that it was a holiday weekend and the hotel was barely occupied). Despite the friendly staff and the great location, we would not stay here again. this hotel used to be a nice staycation spot for me and my family, we recently stayed here and were saddened by the decline in quality and costumer service. our first issue was the ice machines, out of 11 floors only 1 ice machine on the 11th floor was working when we stayed. Among other issues the worst problem was on our first night we went to the hot tub, after spending about an hour in the water we discovered that mine and my husband's blue swimsuits were now bleached pink (pictured below) from the shear amount of chlorine in the water (incase you like the employ of the hotel seemed to not know, that's not supposed to happen) and another member of our party was chemically burned after time spent in the hot tub. After informing the staff of this safety hazard they were dismissive, claiming that there was no manager on duty that night (or somehow any of the nights we were staying) and were overall ambivalent about the whole situation. they claimed that they would "handle it", next morning comes around and the hazard tub is still open for business! Where do I begin? - No front door to the hotel (apparently the revolving door was broken some time ago and it's been under construction for a while). They re-route you to a side entrance. - WiFi did not work in the room. Tried on 3 different devices...none of them worked. I'm not a rookie...I know how to get WiFi in a hotel room. The error message said my name didn't match the room number. Front desk solution was for me to call Hilton IT! Ha! When I finally got through to someone in Hyderabad, he had to white-list my IP addresses to get the devices to connect. I later found out the front desk listed my name as some other random guest (Rajesh?) so that's why the name didn't match the room. - Toilet handle completely broken. Only way to flush the toilet was to re-engineer it myself. Was broken the entire time....and probably has been for years. - No housekeeping service the next day. Sometimes a hotel will tell you that they don't service your room unless you request it. This hotel did NOT tell me that. And when I came back from being gone all day to the room being untouched, I asked the front desk about it. They said "housekeeping doesn't usually come during your stay." Ahhhh...I see...something that would have been helpful to know upon check in. So I had to get fresh towels from the front desk. - The pool was kept to a balmy 10°F. Was sitting outside and two people stepped in and nearly jumped out almost as quickly. Two kids wanted to swim but it was too cold for them (while it was 90° outside). All in all, a very poor Hilton experience. If you have to be in Concord, CA, I would recommend staying anywhere else. read more

I've stayed here many times but the last time has let me know I won't be staying here again Nooo time soon. So 1st room (220) had the biggest black spider after being in the room for a couple hours. Then I looked up in 2 corners were spider webs that must have been there for a long while because they were blacker than the spider. So got a different room about 11PM. 2nd room (816) tv remote didn't work and maintenance said it was because the internet was out. Then went to flush the toilet and it didn't work, water just went up and down never flushing! When I checked out the next morning I tried to tell the guy at the front desk but he just blew me off like ok Shame on you Hilton! read more

She helped he deal with not so friendly, very rude customer service rep who worked for Priceline.com. The room itself was alright although it had a bathtub so that was a huge plus for me. Omg they had a fire alarm to evaluate the building, which was called off after I panicked. I couldn't find the stairs. I was on the 6th fl. I called the front desk and they were very rude. They acted like it was no big deal. When you lose your only sibling in a house fire it's a big deal when you feel like you can't get to the bottom floor.
