Stayed here as a Hilton Honors member and booked in advance. 1) There's no complimentary coffee nor water dispenser in lobby. 2) As soon as you turn on the tv there's a message about the programs being scrambled. I had to call downstairs to see what I had to do to make it work. They offer no Netflix. 3) The bathtub is rusted out and clogs when I showered 4) The sofa was disgusting and worn out 5) I requested a room looking at the busy street but they said they couldn't accommodate and said because of how I booked a reservation in advance, this was all they had. (When I called Concord Hilton in advance, they said all I had to do was ask the Front Desk when I got in. I asked when I arrived, and they couldn't accommodate) 6) The new plastic laundry bag looked like it had leftover dried caramel on it 7) There was no shoe mitt in the bathroom nor separate soap for shower. It was just one small piece of shampoo, one conditioner, one soap bar. 8) The message chat for service doesn't respond until way later. 9) The wifi connection -- no matter how many different ways we followed instruction, we weren't able to login. 10) The heater wouldn't go on. We were in the Concord area and decided to stay in the city for a night to explore the surrounding area. Checked in the Hilton Concord around 3:30 PM. When you walk inside, you'll notice how big the lobby/waiting area is. The area is super spacious and could fit a ton of people! The exterior of the hotel looks a little bit outdated but once we walked inside it was modern and comfortable. Our room was located on the ninth floor with a view of main street in front of the hotel. There are 11 floors. We noticed how clean our room was and the huge bed in the middle. The room had a bunch of lamps and enough natural lighting to light up the inside. The bathroom was a bit small but very clean with a ton of counter sink space. It came with a standard hair dryer, iron and board, and fridge but no microwave. The bed is super comfortable however the pillows were a bit flat. There is a pool located on the side of the hotel. There is a restaurant located on the ground floor towards the back by the elevators. It was closed when we went however it looked pretty spacious and the menu looked appetizing. The hotel is located just across the street from the veranda which is a huge plaza that contains a ton of amazing restaurants, a movie theater, Dave & Buster's, and some places to shop. Parking at the veranda is huge but can be pretty limited depending on what day you go. I give this hotel a five out of five stars and would definitely recommend it! read more

The dude and I stayed at the Hilton in Concord, Ca as we were in town for Valentines Day weekend to see Jo Koy and visit my loves relatives. Anywho, I am an Hilton's Honors member and by the time we checked in after the show I was totally exhausted and forgot to mention I was a Hilton Honors member. Anywho, the dude booked a King room but by the time we checked in there were none available and they gave us two queens and free parking due to not having the requested reservation. The room was so beautiful and the view was alright. It was clean inside and spacious. This Hilton is pretty and has several amenities and affordable rates! We ended up staying an extra night unplanned due to my dudes window being broken into which they accommodated us with a King this time and free parking. We had a nice view overlooking the shopping center and parking lot so we see my loves car. The Hilton let us get the window fixed on the premises. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They even let me get my Hilton Honors points for both nights! Anywho, we enjoyed our stay here and love how there is a bar on site and a close near by food and shopping center in the area. Close to the highway too. However, the dude who fixed our window reported they get A LOT of car break ins at the his hotel. Please note our window was not broken into at the Hilton and managed to be safe for us overnight. I highly recommend this hotel, very nice, clean and great nightly rates! read more

I'm a Hilton Honors member, have stayed in many Hiltons and this was the worst! Upon check in they don't tell you to use your room key to get the elevator to move. Also don't acknowledge that you're an Honors member. There is no food service delivery allowed, you must go downstairs to get it, referring to DoorDash type services.No microwaves in the room, but they tell you to come downstairs. No free coffee, even though I wouldn't drink it. The Hearing/AC unit was so noisy, you can't sleep with it on. I'd never stay here again, there are much better choices! I'm in hospitality myself, it doesn't exist at this location! The worst 12 day stay ever!There was one pleasant associate, a lovely African American woman who worked mornings. I booked a 3-night stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located to where I'm working. I got one of the newly renovated rooms on the 11th floor. It looks nice, it is comfortable, and I'm sleeping well. I had to take off two stars for two reasons. First, the restaurant is closed for meals except for breakfast which makes no sense to me at all. If it functions, then it should function for all three meals. The second reason is there is no daily housekeeping. I'm here for 3 nights and will get no housekeeping at all which is abhorrent and quite honestly, it pisses me off. read more

This Hilton has eleven floors with an occupancy rating of 900 people , per the front desk assistant. " Then why do they have NO laundry service? ", I ask. What a dump, not at all what a Hilton has been. I was really disappointed, I try to find positives but not many in this review. Firstly upon entry the main doors were broken, lobby is in ok shape. Checked in, only to find out the restaurant and bar are closed.... That would've been nice to know when reserving, since I will be here for a week. My room is on the 4th floor and the hall and room are very stagnant, with a strange musty smell. - No air flow. 1st Evening and the room will not get Cool!! Seemed like the AC unit was barely blowing. Being a professional home owner, I took the HVAC cover off to find years of dust blocking the inlet. Pulled the filter off to allow air flow, and the room finally cools down. The bed is worn out, sunken in on one side and very springy. Morning, the shower has amazing pressure, although the tub is plastic and barely drains. Went down to the lobby get some coffee, they want $6 for a cup! I asked front desk if they had complimentary coffee, I was told to sign up for gold membership get $15 credited to my account. ‍ nope. Peets coffee was a short walk and 3.50 for a cup of great non-hotel coffee. Tried to use the in room desk, it's a no. Due to the glass top, a mouse will not track... Gayle and I stayed here during 1 week when we had moved out of our Pleasant Hill house and were commuting to and from our new house in Genoa NV. I'm very familiar with this hotel on several levels. I've stayed here before, attended charity auctions, dined at Plate and Vine, and met work friends here for drinks. In pre-COVID times, it's a solid choice. However, let me reluctantly go through the issues with our last stay: 1. Food. Everything was shut down, except for maybe a snack for purchase alcove. No Bar, No Plate and Vine, no breakfast box in the morning (that their Embassy Suites sister facility does provide), and no fresh coffee at the front desk (the nearby Courtyard does that). Need breakfast? Maybe fast food on the way to work or a short walk to Denny's? Dinner? The Veranda and Willows are across the street. There's also a Whole Foods 360, but the room has no fridge or microwave, so your to-go and take it back to the room options are limited. 2. Room. Room service is upon request and coffee machine with packets are available. Additional services require a schlep down to the main desk. I don't mind making my own bed, but I do mind all the trash accumulating within their mini garbage cans. There's not an easy place to put it either if you decide to pack it out. 3. Parking. There's lots of room to park. However, after all these COVID precautions described above, I still have to by $19 a day? 4. Optics. Including closed lobby area, the dark exterior of the building, and the above detail, this place looks sad. 5. Points - You do get more Hilton points during this time. And believe me, I can't wait to use them post COVID. RECOMMENDATION - Take a lesson from the nearby Embassy Suites (also a Hilton property) and add some "lock down" amenities (a closed but more friendly lobby area, an expanded snack alcove, microwave, fridge, breakfast box, and better trash options). Fresh coffee in the Lobby (or behind the front desk) would also be a treat. read more

This hotel is highly recommended. The location is perfect and it's the best venue to celebrate an event. The front desk staff were so friendly and accommodating, especially Will and the tall, long-haired lady. The check in and out was effortless. My only issue during our stay at the Presidential suite, there were so many students and teenagers at that time, pranking us and knocking on our doors and they would run to the fire exit when we opened the door. The security was not able to check the video when we asked for it. Overall, our stay there was lit. We made the right decision choosing Hilton as our venue for my daughter's 18th birthday and we were so lucky to work with Chante Limosnero as the event coordinator. She was so professional, businesslike, straightforward, adept and efficient in doing your job. The planning and preparation seemed seamless and easy because of her assistance. She was available to answer all my questions in an expeditious manner. Having Hilton hotel as our event venue and Chante as the coordinator was highly appreciated and recommended. I've stayed here twice since March; great hotel!! The staff here are all friendly and attentive; rarely on their cell phones. It's a huge deal to me to have great customer service. The rooms are nice, very clean with the exception of the windows; which a quick call to housekeeping fixed. I love to stay on the Executive Level at this hotel because they're one of very few Hilton hotels that have an Executive Lounge; filled with goodies in the afternoon, and a lovely spread for breakfast. It's open 24 hours for coffee and water as well. The pool is ICE cold, and the hot tub is very small; but both are refreshing and get the job done. When I got in the pool, I felt like I was wrapped in an ice pack from head to toe, and it helped heal my pain, a quick jaunt over to the hot tub for a few moments of warmth and I was done. The area surrounding the pool is very clean, and has great lounge furniture, and an abundance of towels. Great place to stay if you're flying out of Concord, or even for a staycation and a day at the water park. read more

Super rude! Not only am I am diamond member, I spend a lot of money at Hilton hotels and it's affiliates to be treated so rude, lack of consideration, respect, and discrimination I have ever had. First off I had a doctors note not to wear a mask. April said not good enough because it's for work. Guess what I am here on work. Called my doctor to tell her the problem. New note sent in less than an hour. I left the hotel for this time, in the meantime one of the clients that I work with showed up. The hotel staff proceeded to tell my clients my medical information and issues with mask. Again, my privacy completely ripped away from me. April carries this fight on my e-mail for hours by e-mail telling me to wear a different type of mask. Again, I clarified note because of first one (that I have had no problems with over last 3 months). My doctor already filed with ADA for discrimination and mental abuse I had to deal with while I am here for one night. CDC is very clear, health issues don't wear a mask!!! Figure it out you will be sued for the damages and stress for why you have done. April should not have a job, I don't believe she liked being told it's a fact and didn't think I could change it that fast. However, I have 3 solid doctors and mental health providers that support this. Now Hilton and I have a problem. read more

Price per night was very reasonable. Parking was $10/ night, quite pricey for concord. Across from the willows shopping center. This was my first time staying there. Due to the price and location I choose this hotel. This is my second hotel staying during Covid. When we walked in the lights were very dim. There were signs placed on all of the seating that it was closed. I checked in online, which was advised due to covid, but they didn't say that you also had to check in at the front desk if you drove a car, due to you need a room key to use the parking both in and out. I suggest they update this as they really advertise the ease of checking in online and it's ease. The elevators had hand sanitizer, but the one I choose was empty. When I arrived at our room it looked clean, but unlike other hotels I've stayed at, there was no sign that it was cleaned. Even prior to Covid, many rooms stated they had been cleaned and sanitized. I was really disappointed they didn't put a new roll of toilet paper on the roll, to show it was new, it would have been a nice touch. Ice Machine- I followed the map on the door to the ice machine at the end of the hall. It was broken and the sign was torn. I was on the 2nd floor. Figuring it was due to covid I went to the lobby. They told me to go to the 3rd floor. I went back in the elevator and went up. I passed a garage can labeled pillow cases. I passed 2 rooms with dirty linens the floor outside there door. I then made a uturn and went back to my room. I don't know why they had linens outside there room in the early evening, best guess is they were sick and put them out there. Due to that experience, an experience I haven't witnesses in other hotels at that hour. I will not return due to health and safety. read more

Our stay here recently at this popular Hilton hotel in the bustling area of Concord nice. It's been recently renovated so the rooms look really nice, but you can still see places where it still needs minor work. The plug on the work area in the lobby had a plug plate sticking out which could cause a lawsuit if someone gets electrocuted and there are a few areas where you can tell a cart of some sort ran into parts of the wall. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions. The highlight of my experience was the exceptional customer service. The hotel staff was incredibly welcoming, accommodating, and always ready to assist. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made my stay memorable. Im taking away one star because they don't have any free coffee in the lobby for guest which really should be a standard like other hotels I've been in. Other than that I highly recommend this Hilton hotel for its excellent service and comfortable accommodations. read more

Never ever in a million years did I think the Hilton where I am paying $1400 for a 5 night stay would be the worst hotel/motel experience ever ! Ever ! Besides the room being small although I said I'd pay more for a better room- the room sizes are all the same! Wtf ! The hotel smells like stale cigarette and honestly the rooms are not clean. The shower curtain and counter had a woman's makeup foundation baked in them. Btw there's a hole in the wall the size of a quarter that I noticed this evening while unpacking. Our family is moving into a home that is under construction and not ready. I thought booking Hilton meant "well life is shit now but at least you can sit back and relax" - no! We pay $20 a night to park in not a garage but controlled parking lot. There's no microwave in the room and for $200 a night. We have a room on the second floor of the building looking at cooling systems. The BEST part no working wifi! Yeah ! I don't get to work remote ! And ! My 8 year old no iPad in the this small ass room that's supposed to for 4 adults and was provided 2 towels. Wtf ! The staff here too, probably the only ones left that have learned not to react to upset customers for a fucking rip off of an experience, or embody totally disconnect in order to keep a job still work here. They tell you they don't give a fuck in a very nice I don't give a fuck a way. Poor kids !!! When I made the reservation I didn't even think twice with the name Hilton. I laughed after a long stressful day of moving our life into a garage when my son looked at me and said - mom even motels have working lamps and wifi. Right !!!! Do not stay here. They charge $19 a night for parking and due to their incompetence, i had major damage to my car. They refuse to pay for the damage. If you look at the picture, the spike that anchors the concrete block is sticking up 4-5 inches. This caused major damage to my front end. Very unsettling event happened at this Hotel. I seems that management can enter rented hotel rooms without knocking and walk in on people getting ready and still undressed. The hotel front desk called to apologize and promised a room to be comped. We were told to stop at the front desk on our way out and they would gladly comp us a room for the inconvenience of this embarrassing situation. When we stopped when leaving the next am the hotel manager at that time was very rude and told us nobody told us that and that we would not be compensated for being barged in on while half naked. Just imagine the horror of that unfolding. We then called corporate Hilton to be told that since we booked through Priceline they cant help us. We may never stay at a Hilton again. Front desk staff treated us like trash. We didn't seem to be getting the customer service that others we witnessed were getting. We stay here at least 3 times a year and are Hilton honor members. However we have never received our free bottled water when we check in although we witnessed others getting theirs. My digital check in and digital key on the App never works. And To enter the hotel Is a turning round about automatic door. The last time we stayed my 3 year old daughter got stuck and pinned in between the revolving door. She was traumatized. This time the elevator doors were not working and wouldn't close. Front desk staff refused to help us and told us to try a different elevator. Which we did and My same 3 year old daughter almost got stuck in between the closing elevator Door. She was screaming and crying. She then refused To get into the elevator. When we asked the staff where the staircase was they told us it was for emergency use only and we were not allowed to use them. When we finally were able to calm our 2 daughters down and into the elevator and to our room we found huge dark spots all over the cushions of the sofa which looked like blood to me. When we opened up the sofa we found no sheet, blanket or any bedding on the mattress of the sofa sleeper. My husband went downstairs to ask about that and they handed over the front desk to him an armful of bedding that apparently we were to make the bed ourselves. Also, I requested at time of making my room reservation months ago, for a microwave but when we checked in we were told there wasn't any more available. Even though we were checking in an hour before regular check in time. This is the very last time we will be wasting our money here. The Hilton in Walnut Creek only 10 minutes from here obviously is a better option as we've never had these type of horrid and traumatic experiences over there. It's a damn shame. I literally came for the pool and at least that was great. Rooms extremely outdated, dirty, and out of my comfort zone. Not sure why they put the sticker on the room door as it has been some kind of Sanitizing.There possibly can not be any sort of sanitizing going on when you see cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, walls and hair on the floor... Don't even bother calling the front desk. They are not taking calls. We called housekeeping to see if we could get extra towels in the room but no one picked up the phone line. The next day I asked house keeping if we can get extra towels in the room, but she had to come up with a lame excuse that they can only give out one per guest. I stayed at this hotel over five months ago, but I think that this is actually a very useful way to write a review, because the only things that I can remember are the...well, the memorable things. 1. They have a free shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off anywhere within a certain radius (three miles perhaps?) from early morning to late night. That alone is almost priceless. 2. The front desk did not have any umbrellas to lend during a rainstorm. 3. There is a charming courtyard event space with two raised fire pits. I attended a small wedding ceremony there and it was very nice. 4. The reception was held in one of the indoor event rooms, which was perfectly fine except for the drinks situation. The bartender accepted cash only, and, according to some guests' compared notes, did not charge consistently for the same drink. Also, the selection was limited. Also, he was kind of a stiff. 5. However, anyone willing to walk 30 seconds to the main lobby bar could choose from a much wider selection, and pay with credit card or charge it to one's room. Plus the guy was a lot cooler and more generous. Kudos to the lobby bar setup and bartender. 6. The room was very handsome, except for the 80's-era phone (see photo). I understand the dilemma of the modern hotel--the rooms need a phone for wakeup calls and such, but hardly anybody uses them to call out. It is probably too expensive to replace them all, but meanwhile the phones are aging very poorly. This phone was grimy and beaten up, not to mention ancient. Strange detail in an otherwise modern, classy room. 7. You can walk across the street to some cool eateries, or around the corner and about a mile away to several others plus a grocery store. The WORST!!! Whatever you do, DO NOT BOOK with HILTON CONCORD!! Traveled from SoCal (6-7 hours road trip) arriving around 5am with my family, keep in mind, we're exhausted. The Front desk guy (BALD, BROWN SKIN & MAYBE ASIAN BACKGROUND) is a DICK!! He had a long line forming of about 4-5 guests checking in/out. Based off my observations, those receiving assistance before me, his interaction was very minimal. It was then my turn, DID NOT GREET ME NOR WELCOME MY STAY. After checking me in, handed me, my key room and that was that. DID NOT share with me the location of elevators, cafe, pool rules etc. the usual amenities policies they typically go over with you when you stay at any Hotel, really. Thankfully I had a short stay. That said, advice to the management staff for this specific location: 1970 Diamond Blvd, Concord, CA 94520 IF YOU HIRE ANYONE TO WORK FRONT DESK, MAKE SURE THEY HAVE REAL CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & ACTUALLY LOOK HAPPY TO DO THEIR JOB!! Great customer service from Shani. Had the pleasure of her checking us in and out. We stayed 3 days and had a great time. Room was cool enough as it was really hot this past weekend. Sat at the pool early morning and had the pool to myself win win. I will stay her again. read more

I'm a huge Hilton customer and fan and am almost to Diamond level so I try to stay at main Hilton's specifically for the executive lounge privilege. I usually don't even have to find a place for dinner because the lounge is just enough for my evening meal. When I arrived at was told the lounge was closed (Gold and Diamond members should be texted or emailed this information) and was given a free drink coupon. Sorry but I didn't even use it and that is no way equal to having dinner in the lounge. Disappointed in you Hilton. read more
