We love staying here for a staycation and visiting our friends in Preston Hollow and going out for a dinner date nearby. The staff here are very friendly and down to earth. We had a great stay at Park Cities Hilton. I ran into the GM in the elevator and shared a couple room details that needed attention - Ruben showed up 15m layer and fixed everything! I cannot say enough about tge entire valet team - thank you for everything you do! The waitresses were professional and pleasant. I wish I got both of their names - they were gems. Breakfast was exceptional everyday. Four Points as the Hilton app gave me the option of checking into the 10th floor which I jumped on. Upon arrival the front desk moved me to the 9th which was a regular size room. I tried to explain the oversight but ultimately had to make due with what I was given. Hilton may want to review their check-in algorithm on the App. I would have gladly paid for a suite or larger room. read more

The room stinks of BO and TV remote is dated with no internet connection. the heater control is difficult to use. When I called maintenance they were rude and impatient. Bad Management and staff-we had checked online for two rooms for three nights and had been given room numbers via the app. When we arrived at 7 pm, they said the hotel was overbooked but that they made a reservation for us on the other side of town. We could return tomorrow night when they had rooms. Desk clerk was rude and unapologetic and said it was a system error. Hotel has really gone down hill since I stayed there last. read more

Absolutely amazing, though we are only here for one night the staff are extremely polite and the rooms are very nice. The restaurant also had VERY good food. We ordered the loaded nachos, 1/2 smoked chicken, classic burger, bread pudding, and I can confidently say that none of those disappointed. The beds are also very comfortable and if you're wondering what kind of pillows they use they are Down Dreams Classic Firm. I only know because I looked after realizing how comfortable they were. If we are back in the Dallas area and need a hotel again we will absolutely come back here! read more

Lovely accessible room. Good breakfast. It was unseasonably cold during our stay. I couldn't get the room temperature above 71 degrees using the thermostat. Over a four day stay, I called every day to have maintenance fix this. Three times a maintenance person came and adjusted the thermostat. Each time the thermostat returned to 71 degrees which was too cold. It made for an uncomfortable stay! read more

I was there to take care of someone recovering from surgery. Huge TV but it wasn't smart - truly unbelievable . I couldn't even buy a firestick for it b/c it's secured to wall. First night was $250. Second night was $400??? Booked lounge floor which means bags of pretzels, granola bars and lemon water. Called room service. Voicemail full. Called front desk. Rang and rang. No daily housekeeping unless requested. Finally got room service and it was brought up in a bag. I spent $860 for two night. Totally not worth it. First in person business meeting since 2/2020. 13 of us for 2 nights. Outstanding stay in so many ways!! -safety precautions- masks required- in place and even though I am vaccinated I truly appreciate their stand in regards to CO-19. -incredible staff and very helpful. Accommodated my request: no printer & I needed to email some documents. Was able to email the front desk manager, she printed them, I signed them, she scanned back to me and was able to send them. -wonderful rooms! Comfortable beds. TV remote secured in plastic. Yay! Normally the most germ-laden item in the room. Crabtree & Evelyn soap/lotion/shampoo. Very nice!! -best location. Safe. Walked to numerous restaurants & shops. -bar is OPEN!! enjoyed cold Modelo Especial and bartender was friendly & always busy handling many drink requests. -decor is welcoming & contemporary. -excellent fitness center! Updated treadmill models. Plenty of free weights. Needed to work off the cupcakes from Crumbl !! I would definitely stay here again. Just a fantastic stay. read more

Stayed here for a conference last week and opted for an executive room on the 10th floor. Upon entering my room I heard the distinct sounds of running water in the walls. It was like the spin cycle of a washing machine where the water is flowing through the washer. I notified the front desk assuming it was due to the rain outside and maybe drainage was between the two rooms. Upon my return however it was still running and continued through the entire two night stay. I spoke to the front desk twice after having a rough night of sleep and i could hear the water through my earplugs. When I heard the adjoining room had a similar problem I deduced the pool above was the culprit but I was amazed Hilton would have preferential rooms with such a glaring flaw. I enjoy this area in Dallas but had a tough stay, I was less than satisfied at the outcome and felt like I had to press the issue which isn't enjoyable as the customer. read more

I like this hotel in general but something has happened each time I stay. And I try it again and it's something else. This trip, the bartender whom I ordered a drink and food from, was so damn rude. Snippy too. It was loud in the bar area and he first cut me off from my order then walked away and expected me to yell an order at him. And I could not hear him either. It's just plain rude. And the last time I was here I tipped him really well. Not today. I ordered and taking my food and drink with me. Everyone else has been super friendly, valet and front desk. Second stay at the Hilton Dallas Park Cities. Typical comfortable standard Hilton rooms. Disappointed that our King room was only equipped with a shower and not a bath tub (as I requested) which would have been nice for a long soak after a long day of travel. Lobby was dressed up and very cute for the holidays with a tree, fireplace and a mailbox for letter to Santa. Loved vibe of the cowboy themed bar. Valet, the only parking option, was $32 per night which is expensive for a hotel where the room rate is about $100. Glad that we got 2,000 airline miles from Southwest Airlines for our stay. If you book on line, the AAA rate would have given a 5% discount on parking. Valet was also so SL-O-O-O-O-W. Sent my husband to get the car while I literally hopped in the shower, changed, brought my luggage down, waited in line to check out with two people in front of me in line at 11 AM on a Sunday morning. After I checked out, we still waited another 5 minutes for the car. Not too surprised, because we had the same experience last year, but definitely not what we expect as Hilton Honors members. Only two other families were waiting for their cars according to my husband, which is not that busy in my opinion. Hotel is walking distance to a lot of cute shops and restaurants. This hotel is another pampas, pretentious property, using the Hilton brand to populate it. The location is wonderful in spite of traffic congestion and back up at valet. My gripe is that you are "required" to use Valet Parking if you have a vehicle at $30 per day + tip. They tell you there is no parking on the street, or your vehicle will be towed, however, our vehicle was left parked on the street adjacent to the front of the hotel all night long - Outright theft and guest manipulation. I could have simply parked in the same spot for free. The room was a typical stripped down minimal Hilton, clean with no fridge or microwave, and minimal WiFi. Old, rattly elevator. The pool is outdoors and too cold for mid February. read more

Hey Yelpers!!! So, we just left this property today. We stayed 4 days for a wedding. First off, the customer service at the front desk did a great job. We stayed in room 621, and it was quiet. The room seemed a little run down, it needs freshening up. The bathroom shower was a walk-in shower and hot water wasn't an issue. Overall, no problem with the room, it was clean and the tv worked. Happy there. The restaurant was mediocre, at best. The food tasted like McDonald's quality, and service was a hit or miss. Now, the snack shop was a problem. If you are diabetic, with the exception of bottled water, there wasn't anything available to snack on. All they had was items that contained sugar, and the drinks, too. They really need to make improvements there. The location of the hotel was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants, and such, also a safe area to walk around. Overall, I had an enjoyable experience at this particular Hilton location. Didn't check out the pool or gym, so I couldn't tell you what I thought. Thanks for reading this honest review. Over my lifetime, I've spent over a thousand nights in various hotels, but have never experienced housekeeping as poor as at the Park Cities Hilton. From not making up our room , to not re-stocking bathroom items, to even having various items missing, they have tremendous issues. Because of its location, and thinking the Pandemic was the root of their problems, I kept going back to try it one more time and have spent over 40 nights there since July. Finally, returning to our room on Sunday evening at 9:00 and finding the attached scene was the final straw. At least until they get this cleared up, you can do a lot better. read more

Checked in this weekend with my bf for a little weekend getaway. Valet was fast and cordial. We had a room on the executive floor, (fun fact: Trump stayed in the presidential suite next to our room last September!) and the room was rather pretty. High ceilings and very comfy king bed. Bathroom had a walk in shower. I also want to give housekeeping a shout out for being awesome and giving me extra bed sheets! I am a HiltonHonors member at the tier where my room was supposed to come with water bottles. None to be seen, so that was disappointing. I've had water bottles given to me at even lesser Hilton brand hotels. Then, the executive lounge was extremely understocked. There was overflowing trash and very old fruit in the bowl. However in the morning, there was a sign saying that they were doing work on the lounge so no breakfast option up there, but it also mentioned that breakfast would be comped at The Grain downstairs. That was nice, but we just did not have the time. This is a gorgeous hotel close to North Park and Galleria, away from all the bustle of downtown. However, I feel they should try to improve on some of the member/executive lounge benefits. read more

The hotel is very run down and not maintained at all. The lobby is the only updated part of the hotel. The photos are definitely photoshopped to make the hotel look more enticing as well as the room photos. I reserved a king suite only to find out when I got there that it had a queen bed. This could have been corrected very easily except when I went to the front desk they kept telling me that it was a king bed and I was incorrect. I measured the bed and sure enough it was a queen bed. I called Hilton Diamond customer service to complain that the front desk was ignoring my concerns. They called down to the front desk and the manager said I could choose another room, but I had a king bed. The manager sent hotel security up to my room to have the security guard show me other room options as if I had committed some crime. They showed me a two queen bed room but those had twin beds in them. It shows you the level of integrity the ownership of this hotel has when they will purchase smaller beds to save money and charge you for a larger bed. I would highly recommend finding another hotel. We left and booked a room at the Statler hotel downtown and we're very satisfied there. read more

The Hilton Dallas/Park City is perfectly located for any traveler coming to Dallas, wanting to stay close to SMU, Park Cities and/or Highland Park. We were in town for a wedding at SMU, so staying here made our back and forth ubers super simple. That being said, we ran into some cons while staying. The street leading to the valet is under construction, which bottlenecks folks coming in. (That will of course eventually be fixed but was a problem for us) When we got to the valet area, there were about a half dozen cars waiting on the valet. We sat in our car for about fifteen minutes. My wife got out and checked us in while I waited in the car, and once she was back in the car still waiting on the valet, I decided to grab a cart and get our own luggage. The valet appeared out of nowhere and scolded me for grabbing the cart myself, saying that he handles that. (Still hasn't gotten to our car yet...) Whole process took forever and was just a sour start to our stay there. The hotel is undergoing construction, renovating their rooms, floor by floor. I'm sure it will look great once done, but it was a disappointment to be staying in a room just below the construction floor. Also, they didn't give us the heads up about construction. All day long we heard hammers banging on concrete right above us. Killer post wedding reception, early morning wake up. The hotel has a restaurant and bar in their lobby and offered complementary breakfast which was nice. Also, after hours, they have a snack bar where you can purchase sodas, chips, etc at the front desk. Overall, the hotel is located in a great spot for traveling to the area and eventually construction will be finished so their rooms will look great. In the meantime, double check our room isn't close to the jackhammers and hopefully valet will be more on point for your visit. read more

I did not have a great experience. The hotel is mediocre- feels a bit run down. But that was not the problem. I left my phone charger in the room when i left in am and then i realized in the middle of the afternoon. they said the lost and found was closed by the cleaning crew and nobody had access to it. they said they were going to call me the day after but never did. i would expect better service from the hotel. i bought another charger, no big deal. the issue was how unwilling to help and the lack of follow through from the staff. won't be back there when in dallas. plenty of other great options. read more

I always try to be fair. checked in the day before thanksgiving. all ok. On the day of thanksgiving no one cleaned the room and no towels. went down stairs and the front desk said their executive house keeper has decided not to have any services today, and I am like who. I finally said but we do shower thanksgiving or not. My husband ended paying the lady cash on the side and she tiday the room and brought us towel. The next day we left the room and came back five hours later and the room was not done. I went downstairs and the same girl said they will get to it when they will get to it. And this is when the "executive house keeper" a young guy interrupted my convo and said he will decide whose room gets cleaned today and mine wont. Meanwhile another girl keeps padding his arm as in keep cool. I am standing there in awe. The young girl staring me, and he leaves. I looked at her and said i am staying here and paying for the room, I don't even believe this and she says she can't do anything about it once the EXCUTIVE HEAD OF HOUSE KEEPER decides. My husband comes into the picture and asked for supervisor and no one available. My husband is very calm. He said please email me and explain the today and yesterday my room was not cleaned please this gentleman had decided. We left our room. Come back 6 hours later. NO EMAIL. Another supervisor and he was professional, older and changed our room. I do have names of the front desk girl and the executive house keeper as well should Hilton want to peruse this matter. Another Lady who was checking in next to me met back in the elevators and she was beyond believing what she heard at the front desk. Stayed here for one night before a family member had surgery nearby early the next morning. The front desk staff was polite and the lobby was very clean. They have a good selection of snacks and toiletry items if you forget something. The rooms are modern and clean, and the bed was decently comfortable. I am primarily giving the hotel 3 stars because of the valet service, which is painfully slow and inefficient. The night before we had to wake up early, we asked the valet what time we should ask for the car if we had to be at the surgery at 7am. We followed his recommendation but waited for the car for 25 minutes, almost making us late! My family member has stayed there before and mentioned they have the same issue every time. The convenient location makes this a good place to stay and it really was clean, but just be prepared for the valet issues. read more

I really wanted to give this hotel 5 stars. Everything was fine until I checked out. I called the front desk to ask for help with my luggage. I had 4 suitcases and I'm 5'0 so I needed some help. After waiting and having nobody call or come to my room I found a cart and rolled it down myself. When I approached the front desk to checkout I mentioned to the employee who took my phone call that I had been waiting for help, my ride to the airport had been waiting for me and I had a $20 tip going to waste now. The employee (African American) working at 4:45pm May 9th, didn't apologize OR offer to roll it outside to my ride. There was also a young lady working the desk so he could have left for 3 minutes to help. Nobody else was in the lobby or checking in. I have only good things to say about the Hilton Dallas at Park cities. The entire staff was warm friendly courteous and professional the lobby and the hallways were clean and well appointed. I was once at a Hard rock where they didn't vacuum the carpets in the hallways and almost checked out...The entire hotel needs to be spotless and this place was... dug the fireplace in the lobby..the hipster books to read...and the lemon infused water cooler as well... A total plus there's actually a Starbucks right off the lobby !!! There is also a heated swimming pool on the roof it's more like a huge giant bath tub as it's only 3 feet deep: Which was excellent because I was there splashing around every day like a 12 year old... I used it every day I was there: if you could just heat it 10° warmer (please) I think I would've stayed another few days,,, I ordered room service for breakfast one day: they nailed the order perfectly - the oatmeal was spot on and delicious with all the extras that I asked for... I used the in room coffee maker as well and that also worked perfectly and the coffee was definitely passable but totally welcomed on your first morning in a new place where you dont know where anything is...in or around the Hotel... The bathroom was well designed with a soft lighting options yeah people DO notice things like that...ever walked into a strange bathroom in the middle of the night to be blinded by some horrible fluorescent lights and a whirling bad fan ?? Yeah not here...soft serene well thought out... There is a nice shower massage showered and I tried and used all three settings...nothing worse than a shower head in a hotel where they haven't fixed it and you get one stream that blows water all over the entire bathroom...not here... the provided soaps Crabtree smelled so good I didn't want to get out of the shower.... I also used the gym: once again clean, quiet and spot on...no hassle to go in....everything I needed...I was under a high pressure work situation and really needed to work out to clear my head... Theres free bottled water and fresh fruit on every floor with no charge.... things like that...are what make a stay so comfortable and pleasant... I was in the hotel industry for nearly ten years...so I notice all the details...trust me...If one thing is not right or well maintained its a total drag and you dont return... I needed some actual writing paper and a pen and asked the front desk if they had any laying around: yep here ya go...everything was excellent... Actually all in all this Hilton was top drawer and I'd like to say thank you to the staff for taking such good care of me and my service dog!! Special mentions: the barista at the Starbucks, the Front desk staff, the Valet guys ultra cool and professional, and the housekeeping as well...so friendly... So often we are so quick to complain so I definitely wanted to say that this Hilton hit all the right notes: I will be sure to ask my client to book me here again in the spring... If you read some of my other reviews I rake places over the coals when things aren't right....Iam no pushover...and Iam a seasoned traveler... oh yes... ps also totally enjoyed the huge brand new TV with cable.... oh yes forgot to mention: its located near a shopping mall within walking distance you've got everything you need for me it was a barber shop, some clothing stores, a CVS and yeah even a "recovery" meeting half a block away... I honestly despise staying at hotels and would rather rent an RV due to cleanliness and nasty popcorn ceilings at major hotel chains. X Well I'm glad to report this hotel has NO Popcorn ceilings. I tried to google this and called the office to verify as this type of ceiling texture grosses me out!!! X When it comes to what also counts for me is cleanliness. In this area I would give this hotel 4 stars. The room was sanitized, but the carpeting does smell of just being worn out and used... The only complaint I had were with the sheets. They were clean, but had a slight mildew smell and that means their washer machine probably hasn't had a chlorine wash in their machine... Over all I would stay again, but I would probably purchase my own sheets. X Other cons are the revolting programs at this Hotel and Dallas in general. They just throw plastic with the landfill and don't separate compostables. Coming from California, I understand the importance of recycling... I guess Texas doesn't know the importance of reducing or eliminating plastics... Plastics end up in the ocean and you end up eating it in seafood. It's called micro plastics!! At any rate I would highly recommend this hotel due to the fact they have no popcorn ceilings and is close to a ton of restaurants in walking distance. read more

This hotel is incredibly unsafe. I was given a key to a room and allowed to charge a snack to that room without even verifying the guest's last name on the room or providing any ID for myself. All I did was say the room number to the front desk attendant and I received snacks and two room keys to the room. Women should not travel here alone and anyone else should also be extremely wary! They do not care about their guests. I will never be back and will travel with personal door locks to all hotels in the future. read more

Stayed here for a two day business conference. I wasn't impressed. COVID protocols are not taken seriously, people are walking around in the lobby and other areas without masks. The air conditioner was loud and kept me up all night. Although the Hotel bills itself as a 4 star basic 4 star amenities such as robes and high end surfaces were lacking. Much of the furniture is dated and stained. The Internet is a joke. The open network makes it difficult to run program safely. There are no quiet work areas for the traveling business person, as the work area provided is open to the lobby. I came in on a redeye and asked if there was a room I could use to change and shower as I have been traveling since 4 AM, none was offered. The rooms are dark as Brown is the primary color used to decorate the rooms, these rooms are dark and depressing. The hotel failed to clean my room between the two nights I stayed, when I asked the front desk, they sent someone up, but it displaced me from my work area during peak meeting times. My Verizon wireless connection was almost non - existent which made the terrible Internet, that much worse. This hotel is comparable to your average 2-3 star, it tries to be upscale, but fails on many levels. read more

We had a great trip to the Park Cities Hotel. We were greeted by a great valet (Jackson) and front desk staff welcomed us professionally and friendly. Kevin and Chrystal at the Front Desk were awesome. Chrystal helped us several times- check in, printing our boarding and SMU parking passes, and then again finding a place for dinner and late night snack runs. The rooms were nice, clean and it was a great location for our visit to SMU. The pool on the roof was comfortable and clean. There was someone at the front desk the was somewhat short with us (Tamara), but Kevin helped us out. The hotel bar and restaurant is convenient and welcoming. I had high hopes for this Hilton. Sadly, it fell a tad short. Let's start with what was good: -Check-in was a breeze as I did the mobile check-in. I just had to pick up my hotel key. -The lobby is gorgeous. I spent a few hours there before for my flight. Loved the decor. -Bell staff went above and beyond every time. They were always greeting me when I returned to the hotel. Sadly, there were a few issues: -There was no hotel remote when I checked in. Someone was sent eventually to give me one, but it took a bit. -This was the first Hilton in quite some time when I've had issues with the Wi-Fi. -Apart from the bell staff, I felt that the hotel desk staff could've been a bit nicer. read more
