Let me start by saying I am not one to complain much about business especially during a pandemic HOWEVER this was not a pleasant visit my family and I. It started off with my family driving 3 1/2 hours from NYC to come and visit my Uncle for his housewarming. My mother called the hotel HOURS before we arrived and was told that we could check in early and in the occasion that the rooms were not ready we would be allowed to have breakfast until it was ready. Once arriving we were told that we were not allowed to check in until 10 and also wasn't allowed to each breakfast because we were not checked in yet even though they can see our reservation. I might also add that you have to pay for breakfast so we didn't understand. But we then left and said fine we will go eat and then come back. Once coming back again we were told no we have to wait until 1 pm which annoyed us. We were traveling with little kids and just wanted to check in and relax after a long drive. Once we came back to check in the manager at the time who told me her name was MJ ( not sure how true that is) was EXTREMELY RUDE. Not just that day but also the following day. We did not deserve the attitude that was given to us at all. I might also add that a baseball team of young boys were also checked in and was running around all afternoon up and down the hotel and not ONE per swim uttered a word to them but for some reason we were given all the attitude in the world. Hard-working adults. The next morning I wanted to go in the hot tub and saw that the jets were not working so I called the front desk to inquire on how to turn it on. The way "MJ" spoke to me so unprofessionally was disgusting. And I must also add I woke up with bites all over my body from God knows what but it was snowing and 30 degrees so no it wasn't mosquitos. A little bit dated but friendly people working the desk and the ladies cleaning the rooms were kind. I have no complaints it's a quiet property with thick walls. Didn't hear a peep. With some updates would be even better. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Shotgun style layout as far as room is concerned. They do serve a breakfast in the morning. Booked through a third party, never received confirmation. Hotel could see reservation, refused to give me info to get the room canceled despite seeing that I paid for insurance to cancel. Very rude outsourced call center that wouldn't let me talk to the hotel directly or to a manager. Very unfortunate. Bad Service. read more

Fayth was amazing at the front desk. Using this hotel as my block for my wedding and she allowed me to see the rooms and know that I would have everything I need for my big day. She was able to schedule rooms for us near each other and conjoining rooms. She took time to learn about us and really wanting us to be happy during our future stay. read more

First I want to start by saying the room was nice and clean. However the woman at the front desk should not be in hospitality! I booked my reservation .at this hotel through our Company Travel site which is called Concur. I do not normally stay at Hilton properties, I stay at Marriotts, and I had not added my Hilton Honors number to my profile yet. I recently started staying at Hiltons as several people I travel with prefer these hotels. When I checked in at 10:30 pm this evening, I asked the woman at the front desk if she would please add my Hilton Honors number to my reservation since I had not been able to add it to my profile in our Concur site. She said she was not able to because I did not book my reservation through the Hilton website directly. I explained that we are required by our company to book our work travel through the Concur website and it is NOT a 3rd party site. I also told her that I had stayed at another Hilton the night before and asked for the same assistance and they had no problem adding the number for me. She again refused and told me I could bring it up with her manager in the morning. She then told me they did not have any King rooms available which is what I had booked and what was showing as available and put me in a Queen room. As of the time I am writing this, they show them available on the Hilton website! I honestly have no issue with the Queen rooms, but her demeanor is what was the problem. I then asked if she had the waters that they normally provide and she again said that they did not provide them unless the reservation was booked directly through Hilton. I explained again that this is a company travel site and not a 3rd party site and that the Hilton I stayed at the night before had actually offered the waters to me when I checked in. She reluctantly gave me the water and continued to treat me rudely. As I mentioned above, I do not normally stay at Hiltons but I have now added my Hilton Honors number to my profile in Concur so that hopefully this issue, that has never happened with any other reservation I have booked through Concur, happens again. I will consider giving Hilton another try as I have a lot of travel coming up. I am hoping that this is just one bad employee. read more

Bed is hard. Pillows too soft. Small tv. No free breakfast. One of the lower quality Hilton gardens I've seen. Apparently they are renovating but unless the mattresses are replaced it's a total waste of effort. Overpriced for what you get. read more

I was so disappointed with this hotel. There are many hotels in the area that don't have a pool and are less than half the price. I specifically chose this hotel because I had surgery and had been in a car for 3 days and needed a pool to stretch my back. When we went to the room the king size bed was a queen, so I figured no problem I m getting a pool. When I went to their very small pool with terrible acoustic, I found 10 year old boys screaming and jumping in the pool. Really this could be a problem if any of these kids get hurt and I'm sure if it hasn't happened it will. So I decide to get back upstairs and wait until 9:15, the pool closes at 10. When I reached the pool the next round of boys came in the 14 and 15 year olds. I wasn't going Let this stop me so I started to get in the pool. It was like ice water. Now I have been in many pools, cold pools, warm pools etc. I could get in. I had remembered that I had asked at the front desk if it was heated and the checkout woman had said yes. I proceeded to get out of the pool and go upstairs where I met another patron that told me he couldn't swim either because it was too cold. I went to complain to management but they were not in until Monday, it was Saturday night. They said they would call me on Monday. They didn't. I called and was told there was nothing they could do. Had I been advised of the Pool was freezing I would of saved about 110 dollars. I asked the hotel for a 100 dollar refund. This place is great for young boys who swim but if you have any problems they sweep them under the table. I would never visit this hotel again. I stayed at this location for a week, and had no real trouble during my stay. The staff was very accommodating to my needs, as I had a couple of large packages shipped overnight that arrived before me. They brought them out for me when I checked in and had someone bring them up to my room for me. The room was a decent size, with the door opening into an office area containing a large desk, a couch with a coffee table, and a flat screen TV on a dresser. In the corner was a microwave and refrigerator stand with countertop. Then there is a small hallway with the bathroom through a door, and the other end of the hallway opens into the bedroom, with the king bed, two nightstands, and another dresser with another flat screen TV. The restaurant downstairs is open for breakfast and offers a variety of grab-and-go options like cereal, fruit and yogurt. There is also a menu that you can order from, and your selection is cooked to order and brought out for you. If you are of at least Gold standing in the Hilton HHonors program (with your benefits selected accordingly), the meal is free of charge, otherwise I believe there is a flat charge of around $10. There is an indoor pool and hot tub. I went once or twice, and while the water was clean, the pool and hot tub surfaces were somewhat stained, making them LOOK unclean. If it hasn't been done already since my stay, they should hire some professionals to get those underwater surfaces restored. read more

I stayed here for two nights for a business trip and it was pretty good! The room was clean, came with good amenities, and was more spacious than I was expecting! I thought I had just booked a standard room, but to my surprise I walked into a two-room suite with a king bed and living room area! The fitness room and office center were also great. My only reasons for four stars would be that the breakfast was not that great for the price. That is the type of breakfast that should be just be included. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive though! And also I got back after working all day and saw that the front desk staff were sitting on the couches watching TV... a little unprofessional. But not a big deal. I'd stay here again! I always know what to expect when staying at a Hilton Garden Inn and this place was great for that. read more

Place socks ass. Left ro meet up with family for the day came back k.and was locked out. Had to visit the fro t desk to get card reactivated only to find out once we got inside the room the TV re.ote was missing. Called the desk numerous times and no one answered. Had to get dressed and go back downstairs to speak with someone about the situation. Not a good experience at all. Find a different place to stay. read more

Not a bad place to stay in the area though some may feel the view from the room is not so glamorous (tractor supply place right next door.) This didn't bother me though. A few small things missing from the coffee station in the room but were refilled the next day. Bathroom was well stocked and plenty of towels. Staff were friendly. Didn't eat or drink here so can't comment there. Room was clean and they provided mints which was cute...didn't think hotels still did that kinda thing? read more

This was the right place for us to stay. We came up here for work. We stayed here for 2 months. The staff was so nice, and made us feel like family. I will actually miss them. They took care of us. The beds are comfy. I stayed in the suite, and it had 2 large tv's in it. I loved having a seperate bedroom. It made the stay feel like it was an apartment, and not a hotel room. The maid service does a great job. They have new menus in the resatuarant, and have a good selection. The food is good! Nice bar to drink at. Breakfast is great. You have your regular selection of breads and pastries, and included in the price is cooked to order eggs, however you want them. Waffles, etc... I will miss the breakfast. The gym is clean. We didn't use the pool, but I always saw people going in there to clean it. I do like that they keep a good eye at night on the parking lot. It makes you feel safe. I have no complaints. I stayed here for two nights. The staff was incredibly nice. MJ, the assistant general manager was a delight! She took it upon herself to arrange a car service to and from my business meeting. T My room was very clean and the bed was great! They have a bars downstairs, which is very convenient after a long day of meetings. The wine selection could be a little better . They also have breakfast (which was very good) and dinner. I had the burger and fries. Both also good. I had dinner delivered to my room. Fries were a little on the cold side. Front people were nice and we liked the room but they woke us up at 8:45 with the vacuum right outside our room and since they were slow they ended breakfast early and we walked down a minute to late. Next time we travel we will skip this place and go to the next town. read more

I like the Hilton Garden Inn chain because you know what you're getting, a clean and comfortable hotel stay. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside was that the hot tub jets seemed to either be incredibly weak, or they were out of order. Otherwise a nice stay overall. read more

Very nice hotel and we got rates through a wedding block that were very affordable. We stayed two nights and had no complaints. Everything was nice and clean, housekeeping was attentive and thorough. The only issue we had was that there was over an hour wait for breakfast on Saturday morning which was a bummer but it was a busy wedding weekend so we totally understood. There are a ton of hotels in the area but I'd confidently recommend this Hilton! read more

The only reason I'm giving this Hilton 2 stars is due to the amazing sleep number beds they've just added that we unfortunately don't have on the west coast and the cleaning crew who did an exceptional job. The room service, which btw they don't have, they make you go downstairs and pick it up yourself, was terrible. Front desk people look like they hate their jobs and don't know how to at the proper greeting of the day, or a simple thank you, please hold. I have stayed at many Hilton's due to lots of traveling with work, but this one was is at the bottom of the list. The general manager never returns calls or picks up his phone. We stayed at this hotel for our daughter's wedding (at Top of the Bay) and also held the rehearsal dinner at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff is eager to assist and provide guest satisfaction. We stayed in a suite with a small living room - it was great for welcoming guests. The rehearsal dinner was wonderful. We held it in the Baltimore room, which was large enough for our 29 guests, but there are smaller and larger options. The decor looked new and accomodated different color schemes. The food was excellent and enjoyed by everyone. The bartender was friendly and everyone had a great time. Roxanne, the event planner, was flexible and helpful in preparing the menu. At the last minute, I decided we needed some flowers. She called her florist to set it up and even went to get them herself! I couldn't have asked for better service or a better event set-up. The next day, Roxanne called to ask how the event was and ask for feedback. I highly recommend this hotel for a place to stay and to hold an event. read more

Worst experience hotel experience ever. While the room was clean, the phone charging outlets on the night stand apparently wore out years ago. There's no alarm clock in the room, and my phone didn't charge draining the battery and causing us to be late. One member of our party was locked out of their room for hours while the incompetent staff attempted break back in. This caused them to be extremely late for a once-in-a-lifetime family event. The real kicker came this morning when they decided to double charge us for the room. The front desk staff was again no help as expected. I was repeatedly transferred to a non-existent manager and disconnected. If you need a room for the night sleep in your car. You're guaranteed to have a better experience than the Hilton Garden Inn at Aberdeen. read more

I stayed here a lot as a Diamond HHonors member before I moved to the area. Restaurant can be busy at times, but I have always enjoyed my food, and they were always prepared in accordance with my instructions. Workout facilities use the Precor equipment - no problems. Only downside is the crummy location. read more

We have been treated royally by the staff at this lovely hotel. Everyone has been accommodating to our every need, and I would certainly stay here again. The king one bedroom suite is spacious and also has room for a twin bed in the living room area. Granted, the pull out sofa is not very comfortable to sleep on, but the hotel has real twin beds that can be wheeled into the room with a proper mattress. We also needed a bath mat inside the bathtub so it wasn't so slippery, and the front desk provided one immediately (and said if they didn't have run,they'd run over to Target to give us one). Their philosophy is to provide for anything we may need and to let them know if we weren't satisfied. Well, we are grateful for everyone here bending over backwards to make us feel comfortable and at home! read more

Recently spent the weekend at the Hilton Garden Inn in Aberdeen, MD. It appears that it was a sports weekend, and the sports goers (mainly teenagers) took over the hotel with NO regard to other paying customers. We were unable to use the pool because a group (about 2 dozen) cheerleaders were in the pool doing their routines (throwing themselves in the air, etc) in this extremely small indoor pool. They ended up breaking the pool light and it was floating in the pool ~ the front desk manager's response "Good thing the electric to the pool was OFF" ~ later when I made another complaint about this I was told by the front desk manager that others who have rented rooms are allowed to use the pool too BUT that she had banned the cheerleaders ~ not so, when we attempted once again to use the pool they were back and doing the same things they had done before. So we returned to our room for a peaceful afternoon ~ that was not to be had either ~ the ones that weren't using the pool for their practice sessions were using the hallways for that purposed ~ we had to turn the TV up so loud just to hear it. You'd think management would have done something about this ~ but NOPE not a thing was done ~ this continued with them running up and down the halls, slamming doors, yelling and carrying on until after 11 pm. This should NOT have been allowed all day and up until after 11 pm. When I complained AGAIN I was basically told NOT to rent a room on weekends this time of year because they would always have sports teams filling the hotel, OK that's fine, but management needs to make sure these sports team do not disturb other paying guests. Their posted "satisfaction guaranteed" ~ you know the one that says not satisfied don't pay ~ WHAT A JOKE ~ the front desk manager was fully aware of all the problems with this particular sports team in residence but was not willing to listen to complaints (I had spoken with others on the elevator and at breakfast who said they had complained but the noise never stopped) so it appears management wasn't willing to correct the problems OR issue refunds for the HORRIBLE day/night we spent at this hotel. We will NEVER use this hotel again. If the majority of their business is from sports teams that run the hotel and have no respect for other paying guests, then perhaps the hotel should advertise itself as being a very LOUD sports hotel, so potential guests are aware ahead of time. read more
