Extra friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a wheel of fortune at check-in. I ended up winning the maximum Hilton rewards points listed while my colleagues got Ho-Ho's and Hostess chocolate cupcakes and bottled water all around. My room had a curtain separating the bed/work area from the kitchenette and living room. (Pro-tip: It's a nice backdrop for head-to-toe selfies.) The included breakfast impressed me with a good selection of hot foods, cereal, yogurt, fruit, milk and non-dairy milk, and other beverages. It's also a great opportunity to fill your thermos with coffee which you can actually do all day. This hotel's a good spot for long-term stays. How suite! ;) NOTES/TIPS: **This hotel is among several others and 6 miles away from the main entrance of the U.S. Army's Aberdeen Proving Ground and about 40 minutes to Baltimore. **Pool, 24-hour gym, and coin-operated washer/dryers inside (50 cents/load). **Rooms have a microwave, full-size fridge, dishwasher, dishes, glassware, and utensils. **Wheelchair-accessible, free parking and WiFi.

My stay at Home2 Suites was great! I read some reviews and I think what people need to realize is that it is an all-suite, extended stay hotel which is why it included a kitchen area and why the cleaning is different than other hotels. So, to begin the rooms are equipped with a microwave, full fridge & freezer, dishwasher & glass plates, mugs, bowls and silverware. A portable cooktop is available for free by request. There is also a full desk and love seat in the room, with a moveable divider from the bed area. They have a saline pool and a 24 hour gym which has free weights, cardio machines and some cables. Oh, btw they have the washer and dryers right before the gym so you can multitask (50 cents per load). Plus, hotel is pet friendly with a non-refundable $75 per pet for entire stay. They also have 24 hour tea and coffee in the main lobby, board games, computers, free printing, grills and outdoor furniture for when the weather is nice. And great health conscious breakfast choices!! Light touch is provided each day which I agree they do some of the things but not all or are inconsistent in one day doing something and the next not but the concept is that you feel a little more at home and on the 5th day they do a full clean. However, at any time you can call to the front desk and the staff were friendly! Walmart is literally down the road so if you need anything and Aberdeen is also no more than 10 mins away so location is convenient to that. Free parking, free WiFi.

This is what I walked into when I first got to my room.

First, it is kind of difficult to access the hotel. It's oddly located. It does have a large grass area for walking furbabies but sits facing manufacturing looking buildings. My room had been slept in. I assume they never cleaned it. Had to go downstairs to switch rooms. No one was at the desk so I stood there for awhile at midnight after an 8 hour drive. Breakfast was ok. The door to the pool was broken. My key nor the front desk member's key would unlock it. The hotel is rather outdated. They are renovating per the signs but it clearly hasn't started yet. It's kind of dreary. The room smelled overwhelming like chemicals. Probably the worst Hilton hotel I have stayed at in the last 5 years.

Pretty nice!! Parking is good. Location is good. Access can be tricky. There is no direct access off of Rt 40. The staff was great helping us check in. This place is used heavily for travel baseball teams, so you can expect them to be at the hotel all through the summer. We stayed in August and they are here in full affect. The hotel is well maintained overall. The rooms were nice and everything seemed to be in good condition. WiFi service is good, even on higher floors. Give it a try.

5 stars for the staff. They are amazing. Summer, Connie and Joey always there day and night with smiles on their faces and ready to assist no matter. The hotel has lots of breakfast options, fresh good tasting coffee, and juices. Someone is there to help l. Hotel is clean, bed comfortable. We definitely recommend and will stay again when back in the area

*Update* I stay here once a year and I love my stay everytime! The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the breakfast bar is always amazing. I highly commend this hotel because I had written before about the lack of dairy free options; low and behold one year later during my next stay there are dairy free options! I was extremely ecstatic and grateful! Thank you x1000!

This place has the potential to be great. This is an eco friendly resort which is incredible. Glassware used instead of disposable plastic, lots of recycling - super. But as many of the others said , hotel is not super clean. When we checked in our bed wasn't made, but they did rectify it fast. We were given a handicapped room, and we are not handicapped so no tub. The hallways need vacuuming but it's not terrible. The rooms are nice, very bare but roomy. Bed is very comfy. The breakfast is terrific so that is a 5 star. Great healthy choices. Free parking and that is great. The gym has an elliptical , and a few treadmills and a washer dryer to do your laundry. Pets are 75.00 and non refundable. Hmm. Is this place worth over 150.00 a night in Aberdeen. Wowza. We better go eat more breakfast !!! We would stay here again , because it is close to where we want to be, but hey should throw in some champagne !

They would ask and offer to help even when you did not ask. They were friendly at the breakfast area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. (The pool area is nice and large. The pool water was cold for me but the kids enjoyed it without a problem. We had gotten a king suite and the room was quite spacious. the manager Thomas went above and beyond to help me extend my room reservation at the last minute. He was extremely kind to my children and the other guests in our group. I also met the owner briefly on our last morning and he seemed very kind and attentive. The hotel was in a perfect location 5 minutes from the baseball tournament. And a handful of restaurants nearby. Also a ShopRite grocery store & target just a few minutes away. I will definitely stay here and recommend it to others.

Unfortunately, the biggest issue has been the large groups of traveling baseball teams. The children have been extremely loud and disruptive throughout our stay, with yelling, running, banging, and knocking on doors. The pool area has also been chaotic, while many of the parents seem to make little effort to supervise them. I understand that Aberdeen hosts a lot of youth baseball, and I certainly don't blame the hotel for the behavior of other guests. This is ultimately a parenting and supervision issue. However, it has made what should have been a comfortable hotel stay much more stressful and difficult to enjoy. The water does just stop while you're showering, major water pressure problems.

We are a travel sports family (not this time) and we could not believe that this hotel allowed the children and parents to act like they did. The kids were running through the hotel at all hours and the front desk just watched. Parents were screaming at the kids as they walked out of the pool area, where people had rooms at. Two young kids got left in the common area to watch TV without any adult supervision while their parents drank and smoked outside and you could hear the youngest one screaming "mommy" and "daddy" looking for someone. This happened until 11/12 at night. The front desk just didn't seem to care.

The staff all know me and I get an awesome greeting when I arrive. It feels almost like walking into my own front door. So welcoming! Tonight was different. No desk clerk. I stood around for a few minutes saying "hello, hello". No response. I tried a bit louder, but friendly, almost embarrassed at raising my voice where people I consider 'friends' work. Finally, Melissa showed up. Couldn't hear me I guess because of the 'headsets' she was wearing, not EarPods, full-on ear covers. Really snide tone to her voice. Kept referring to me as ' my friend'. I check in on-line, but require a physical key card because of tight security settings on my corporate phone. She demanded my ID and credit card. Ok , ID I understand and produced it. Demanded I swipe my credit card even though I already paid and had an email from card provider to prove it. She got angry with me when I pointed out she was trying to charge me $40 more than the rate I paid. She told me at least six times that she 'has me on camera and is recording everything'! When I asked her to remove the headset so she could hear me she played the disability AND the senior citizen card. Told me I am violating the Disability Act. I told her I would speak to the manager in the morning, and her response was , "now you are threatening me! I will call 911!" The situation devolved from there! She began calling me 'Gary' . I told her that's not my name( she saw my ID). She got pretty angry when I took her picture so I would remember her name! Now, remember, she had repeatedly told me she is recording our encounter. More "I'm calling the police" threats to which I said "please do!" She stomped off and went behind the wall and hid. I could see her reflection in the front window. Pretty childish. I called her again several times, without response, so I slapped an open palm on the counter 3-4 times. She came back out and reminded me I'm on camera and am being reported. I stepped back and pulled out my personal phone and managed to get room key to transfer to it. You have an amazing staff, pleasant, really awesome people. Summer is a personal favorite and there are several others who really know how to make a desk encounter delightful. Melissa misses the mark horribly! That said, your hotel is clean, always a nice room, and extremely convenient for me as I cover nine mid-Atlantic states from Long Island to North Carolina. I highly recommend this hotel. I'll rate it five stars, and not ding y'all for Melissa's rude behavior. Y'all have honestly earned all five of those stars!
