Stayed here for a couple nights while in the area for a basketball tournament. As a Hilton member, I have stayed at Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites, Waldorfs and other properties - but this was my first experience at a Home2 Suites. I booked a suite room, which had two rooms a sofa bed, and a large kitchen area with dishwasher and fridge as well. Two TVs in the room as well. Breakfast was above average - well stocked in a different way than Hampton Inn's I'm used to - had sauces as well in bottles. Staff was friendly and texted checking in on me several times. Clean place - solid room, smaller bed than usual but I would stay at one of these if given the chance. read more

Worst Home2 Suites ever. Staff was nice, room was DIRTY, I had to wipe down everything with a half a canister of Lysol wipes and run the dishes through the dishwasher before we could even use them. We kept our shoes on until we got in bed. We're Hilton Diamond and upgraded to a 2 room suite, which was pointless. But the absolute bottom was the breakfast... Yes, it's a courtesy - but why bother if you're going to penny pinch and cut every corner? They added so much water to the orange juice that it literally became yellow coloured water. Lord knows what they added to the runny waffle mix, but it wouldn't even cook in the waffle maker, instead it came out as some sort of congealed paste - despite awaiting the 2+ minute timer. No fruit, no pastries, no options. This was at 8am.....an hour before breakfast would have ended, nothing was repenished. We grabbed a chocolate milk and left. It is a place to rest your head before moving on, nothing more. read more

They have bugs - NOT lady bugs. They are Japanese invasive beetles They know they have them yet they still put me in a room with them. Chris G was rude in the morning when I asked to be compensated for my room. He barley made eye contact while he tossed a football in his hands. Very dismissive. Told me 10,000 points to my Hilton Rewards is like getting a free room. As I type this, 0 points have been added to my Hilton Rewards. During the week I spoke with Samantha Polite and she said she would be calling me back in an hour with the decisions. She never called back I had to call her back and she said my phone was not picking up after two rings the call was disconnected. I have not had ANY phone problems. read more

Extra friendly staff, spacious rooms, and a wheel of fortune at check-in. I ended up winning the maximum Hilton rewards points listed while my colleagues got Ho-Ho's and Hostess chocolate cupcakes and bottled water all around. My room had a curtain separating the bed/work area from the kitchenette and living room. (Pro-tip: It's a nice backdrop for head-to-toe selfies.) The included breakfast impressed me with a good selection of hot foods, cereal, yogurt, fruit, milk and non-dairy milk, and other beverages. It's also a great opportunity to fill your thermos with coffee which you can actually do all day. This hotel's a good spot for long-term stays. My stay at Home2 Suites was great! I read some reviews and I think what people need to realize is that it is an all-suite, extended stay hotel which is why it included a kitchen area and why the cleaning is different than other hotels. So, to begin the rooms are equipped with a microwave, full fridge & freezer, dishwasher & glass plates, mugs, bowls and silverware. A portable cooktop is available for free by request. There is also a full desk and love seat in the room, with a moveable divider from the bed area. They have a saline pool and a 24 hour gym which has free weights, cardio machines and some cables. Oh, btw they have the washer and dryers right before the gym so you can multitask (50 cents per load). Plus, hotel is pet friendly with a non-refundable $75 per pet for entire stay. They also have 24 hour tea and coffee in the main lobby, board games, computers, free printing, grills and outdoor furniture for when the weather is nice. And great health conscious breakfast choices!! Light touch is provided each day which I agree they do some of the things but not all or are inconsistent in one day doing something and the next not but the concept is that you feel a little more at home and on the 5th day they do a full clean. However, at any time you can call to the front desk and the staff were friendly! Walmart is literally down the road so if you need anything and Aberdeen is also no more than 10 mins away so location is convenient to that. Free parking, free WiFi. read more

First, it is kind of difficult to access the hotel. It's oddly located. It does have a large grass area for walking furbabies but sits facing manufacturing looking buildings. My room had been slept in. I assume they never cleaned it. Had to go downstairs to switch rooms. No one was at the desk so I stood there for awhile at midnight after an 8 hour drive. Breakfast was ok. The door to the pool was broken. My key nor the front desk member's key would unlock it. The hotel is rather outdated. They are renovating per the signs but it clearly hasn't started yet. It's kind of dreary. The room smelled overwhelming like chemicals. Probably the worst Hilton hotel I have stayed at in the last 5 years. read more

Pretty nice!! Parking is good. Location is good. Access can be tricky. There is no direct access off of Rt 40. The staff was great helping us check in. This place is used heavily for travel baseball teams, so you can expect them to be at the hotel all through the summer. We stayed in August and they are here in full affect. The hotel is well maintained overall. The rooms were nice and everything seemed to be in good condition. WiFi service is good, even on higher floors. Give it a try. read more

This place has the potential to be great. This is an eco friendly resort which is incredible. Glassware used instead of disposable plastic, lots of recycling - super. But as many of the others said , hotel is not super clean. When we checked in our bed wasn't made, but they did rectify it fast. We were given a handicapped room, and we are not handicapped so no tub. The hallways need vacuuming but it's not terrible. The rooms are nice, very bare but roomy. Bed is very comfy. The breakfast is terrific so that is a 5 star. Great healthy choices. Free parking and that is great. The gym has an elliptical , and a few treadmills and a washer dryer to do your laundry. Pets are 75.00 and non refundable. Hmm. Is this place worth over 150.00 a night in Aberdeen. Wowza. We better go eat more breakfast !!! We would stay here again , because it is close to where we want to be, but hey should throw in some champagne ! read more

Amazing! Hotel was great; every single person we came into contact with was friendly and so nice to be around (except the young man working at the front on Saturday evening 9/23, wearing headphones around his neck. He didn't look up any of the times we passed him and would probably benefit from some refresher training) We loved Peter, Anthony, and the lovely young woman who's name I forget . I recently book a 30 day stay. I was greeted by a pleasant young lady. Unfortunately that was the highlight of my stay. I was in room 124. Upon opening the door the smell of Cat piss was overwhelming. I let the front know of the problem the young lady sprayed some Lysol about the room and left. I was at this hotel for less than 20 hours and charged $403.04. They charged med for two nights because I checked out after 2. Refrigerator was broken, AC unit didn't work as it should couch was ripped. Stay away save yourself the hassle ! read more

I wish I could give this place negative stars. The front desk team is extremely rude and incompetent. The Director of Sales Tracy Brown called me and when I told her I had to call her back because it wasn't a good time, she asked me "why did I pick up the phone?" Are you kidding me? She was extremely rude and unapologetic when I pointed this out. I can answer my phone as I please, especially when someone calls me twice without leaving a message. I thought it may have been an emergency so I answered. This place is filthy honestly and I've seen crackheads nearby. Breakfast is horrendous. I think management needs an update. The sales director and whoever answered the phone on 4/17 around 1:30pm should be FIRED ASAP. Don't spend your hard earned money here. read more

Location was very convenient. Close to highway, stores and restaurants. Quiet area. Housekeeping can be better following guests requests for cleaning the room though. One thing I loved that I haven't seen anywhere else yet is the laundry room takes credit cards! This is very convenient for someone like me that travels a lot on business and doesn't have to worry about carrying quarters or getting change. This hotel was perfect for me. It was truly like a second home. I stayed four months in 2020 and about 6 weeks in 2021 while helping a family member during illness. The staff are not only efficient and professional, but warm, caring, and friendly. They go the extra mile to make sure your stay is nice. Also, it is clean and comfortable. I would choose to stay here anytime I'm in the area and I highly recommend it. We have stayed here one week last year and one week this year. This place could easily be a 5 star experience with improved customer service and hospitality. Small things make a huge difference for us (i.e. an extra desk chair (We were told there was none available. We passed by the storage room, and there is one in plain sight; 4 in the empty lounge); not having to get out to ask for conditioner and lotion; accepting AAA discount regardless of when you remember to ask for it)... Good place to stay off the highway. The rooms were clean, quiet, and relatively spacious. Hard to judge the amenities due to Covid. The three downsides were (1) the area is desolate and completely unattractive (not really an issue if you are just looking to sleep); (2) the staff was a bit lackadaisical about Covid issues, such as wearing their masks properly all the time; and (3) the pet fee - $75 - is exorbitant. read more

This may have been the worst Home2 Suites I have stayed at. Our room was not clean, and the loveseat was filthy. It seems as if the staff doesn't take much care in the upkeep and cleanliness of the hotel. It was close to APG so that was where the two stars came into place for the review. read more

Any day that is not a FRIDAY or a SATURDAY or a SUNDAY, you might actually have a good/ok time here. Have stayed here on and off for a few months and I'm absolutely sick of the baseball teams running this hotel on the weekends. There are dozens of kids free roaming the halls. They're knocking on doors at all hours of the night. They're playing in the hallway. They're screaming at each other from one end of the hallway to the other. Where are their parents? You might find them outside drinking by the fire or the BBQ. I wouldn't even bother asking for a room away from them. They are playing in the stairway and still roam the floors they aren't staying on. Try other nearby hotels. read more

My wife spilled water on the kitchen floor when we first got there and wiped it up. The towel was black afterwards. The room was dirty we found hairs all over that where not our own, there where stains on the bed spread. When we stayed this past weekend, there was a kids travel baseball team staying there with their parents. The parents would all drink at night taking up all the common areas and making huge messes. While all the kids ran around the hotel unsupervised like lord of the flies. I tried taking my kids to he pool and it was filled with wild unsupervised kids. The pool was gross when we did finally get in it. On the plus side the people that worked there where very nice and accommodating. I probably wouldn't have written this based on how nice they where, but the charged us on 3 separate cards for the same room. When i asked them to void 2 of the charges so my funds did not get tied up they said i would have to wait for the manager tomorrow. This place is a new hotel but a total dump !! It's a pretty nice hotel and quiet. They have been improving some things therefore I give it a 3 star. Although the rooms smell like feet and you can smell it in the hallways. They need to do something about that because it's pretty nasty and will only get worse. I don't think they vacuum well either due to the fact I found hair on the floor. read more

Compared to the Hilton standard, this property is sub par. I have been staying here a few days - with several more ahead. However, my daily room cleaning has consisted of 1/2 of it being completed. Like today my bathroom was cleaned, but the main living area the trash was still full and the bed wasn't made. Yesterday the bed was made and the bathroom went untouched, towels and all was left behind. Budget hotel at full price rate. Shame on Hilton. Negative aspects: - Only HALF the regular points of other hiltons - 5 per dollar as opposed to the regular 10. - No housekeeping on weekends - make your own bed. The materials state "Deep clean" on 5th day of stay, but I was there for 7 and no deep clean happened - same sheets/towels the entire week. - Poor water pressure in shower. - Institutional style soap dispensers in the shower made it seem more like a truck stop than a Hilton. - Thermostat goes off when you are not in the room. It was always a muggy 74'F when I got in on an evening and took more than 2 hours to get down to normal temps. - No coffee packet left for entire trip. - Breakfast that makes gas station alternatives look good. The location to the base was great! But the staff and my experience failed to make this a "must stay for me." Let's just say a horrendous stay for one of the two weeks I stayed there was enough. Let's start with I am a Hilton Honors member. Was NOT greeted as such! The front desk personnel "Brittany" was so rude, I wanted to slap her! But that's unprofessional. The rooms however were beautiful. LOOKED CLEAN! I say looked considering I left with a multitude of BED BUG bites all over me (which I reported and was told they were not although I caught one on my face and turned it in to the front desk). Yes, they did move me but the damage was done. My debit card was charged erroneously and it took 5 days to get it fixed!!! Was it a front desk person that did it NO, found out it was a security person. OMG! What is security doing behind the desk, let alone waiting on a guest! Look, it's taken me well over a month to do this review and I waited to calm down so I could be fair. If I would have written this then I would have given NO STARS! The housekeeping is atrocious! As the other reviewer stated, don't expect housekeeping. I asked for towels on my second day and was given a bag of popcorn and a note about how I don't get cleaning services except on the third day I believe! WTF??? Yes, they moved me, yes the adjusted my rate for my stay but what still BUGS me (no pun intended) I stayed in that room well 10 days with bugs and what not and I got a CRAPPY gift certificate for ONE night in another HOME2SUITES! That's not what I am use to with HILTON. The guarantee is not we will reduce your rate and give you a sucky certificate! At the least I expected a free weekend certificate and an offer to pay my doctor's bills!! Yes, I verified upon my return home that it was BED BUGS! We messed up check in...somehow we booked the wrong date, and we almost didn't get a room. It would not have been a disaster, we would have gone to another hotel, but the gentleman behind the desk, Beasley, helped us out tremendously. Not only did he fix our mistake, but he was super funny, and engaging along the way. While Beasley was working his magic, pulling a room out of his hat, another hotel employee, Nick, was also extremely helpful. Nick, who apparently has been with the hotel since it opened, is very clearly a skilled employee, as he was not only upstairs fixing the AC in a particular room, but he was very patient with what appeared to be an extremely flustered guest. Both Beasley and Nick jumped through hoops to make sure our experience was pleasant and comfortable. Really, I'm not rating the hotel, which is also very nice, I'm rating its employees. We aren't really in this area very much, or really ever, but we would certainly come back. Excellent experience overall read more
