There are so many hotels in the Williamsburg area but I'm so glad we ended up choosing this one! The room was very clean and well kept, the front desk staff was so friendly and it was even pet friendly! Usually we don't swim in indoor pools but this one was so clean and well kept we ended up taking a dip! Definitely recommend booking this hotel if you're in town!

Lots of shelves and drawers in the closet.

Great choice in the off season. Stayed two nights right before Christmas. Rooms were clean and modern. Tons of USB ports. Friendly and welcoming staff -- at the desk and housekeeping. Used the fitness center twice. Well stocked with free weights, a treadmill and elliptical.

My husband and I decided on this hotel really after finding out they were now serving the signature HGI breakfast. I noticed there were mixed reviews on this property, but I gotta say we really enjoyed our stay. We started off in a Double room, but was able to change to a King room. Both rooms were really nice. The rooms looked as if they'd recently been updated. Everything looked nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The shower was great. The breakfast was awesome! You had to wear your mask and put on the gloves that were provided to get your food. I can appreciate that. Eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, hashbrowns, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, muffins, juice containers, coffee, water and made to order breakfast. I'm pretty sure there was more, but I just can't remember right now. Everyone was super polite and helpful. When you walk by the swimming pool it smells as if they put ALL of the chlorine in the water. Definitely no rona up in there! Great location. Springhill Suites and the Residence inn are right behind this property. Tons of restaurants and shops close to it and within walking distance. No complaints. We enjoyed our stay

Wonderful stay! The hotel is clean, the room and beds are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a nice indoor pool area that my son enjoyed swimming in. The breakfast is amazing! They serve made to order omelettes, pancakes, and they have scramble eggs, bacon, sausage in the buffet. As a Hilton diamond member, we got the breakfast for free. Otherwise it is $11 person. We will be back next time we go to Williamsburg.

My child bit into this apple , only to find that it was rotten.

Stayed at this hotel for one night, just happened to get ready for the shower and laid out my towel. Only to find BED BUGS within the towels. We then decided to check all of our bed, low and behold BED BUGS in 3 different beds, 3 different rooms. As we went to talk to the managers , it was hard to locate someone who spoke English. Then when presented with the bed bugs, they said they couldn't do anything about it. Further discussing it with the managers who finally showed up, they tried giving us a 25% discount. We now have to fumigate ALL of our belongings that were brought into the establishment to ensure we don't carry these bugs somewhere else. Room 205, 204, and 206 were the rooms that had bed bugs, amount other issues with the rooms (sticky countertops, sticky phone) hygiene in the room was absolutely disgusting.

We stayed at the this hotel for a brief stay in Williamsburg. The hotel staff seemed to be friendly. We had a room with two double beds and a living room area. When we entered the room the door had a sanitary seal on it to tell us it was cleaned. The room seemed clean for the most part. I did notice some stains on the wall like somebody had wasted something and it was not cleaned up. The beds were comfortable. The room did have two large TVs. The room had a fridge, Keurig and microwave. The hotel was serving made to order breakfast and it was really good. I have stayed at other places that I prefer more but I would stay at this hotel again.

    Room 126.

If you like to be woken up by birds chirping at 500AM make sure you book room 126. It's right by the courtyard across from the gym and the birds have some beautiful trees that can reside in and chirp your ass up at 5AM. This might not bother some but it bothers me; just letting you know. The rooms are a bit dated but overall my stay was o.k. besides the fact that I had to move rooms because of the flock of birds. Lol. Gym has two treadmills, an elliptical, dumbbells up to 50lbs, and a functional trainer machine. The room also has a little space to perform any callisthenic/stretches you may need to perform for a warm up. For some reason, the pancakes here are banging compared to other Hilton Garden Inn's. The breakfast is great as usual. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive away, If you are in the area try this place out.

Couple's Getaway Package (Sherri's Berries and card not included)

There are several hotel choices in the Williamsburg area. But, if you are looking for A+ customer service, this should be your selection. The hubby and I were visiting Williamsburg for our anniversary. We booked the "Couple's Getaway" package. When we arrived, our room had been upgraded and our fresh beautiful flowers, chocolates and champaign awaited us. Our package also included a $50 certificate to the Seafare. Excellent food and service! The hotel staff was very professional, helpful and knowledgable. For the few questions and issues we had, the staff immediately and happily addressed them and made our stay a great experience.

We arrived around 6:30 PM to check in on a Friday and were promptly greeted. Desk attendant acknowledged my Platinum Status and was very friendly. We were given a room on the 1st floor. Room was a two queen bedroom suite with a sofa. Room was a fair size, one tv, bed was comfortable and everything appeared clean. Breakfast each morning was good. Eggs, hash browns, a meat or apples, waffles. A very good selection. Sunday there was a large group of students. Everything was pretty good. They have a game room present with an arcade. My youngest son spent almost an hour in here on 10.00. We used the pool which had a tepid temperature and the hot tub was so so. Location is outstanding. I think that part of the problem is that they have a number of long-stay residents, as I've learned from talking to fellow guests. Yes, I know that Residence Inn is generally targeted for longer hotel stays, but these are people staying months at a time for a temporary job. There is nothing inherently wrong with those types of guests, but it leads to a downgrade in level of service from that of a hotel to that of an apartment building. Also, as a pet-friendly hotel, the hotel has turned into a de facto unattended kennel during the day. While their owners are at work, or vacation travelers go to places where dogs are not welcome, the dogs are left alone in rooms all day, barking and whining...all day long. And once one starts, they all start. The constant din is really unbearable during the day. In the last year or so, signs have gone up around the hotel about Quiet Hours being from 10:00pm to 8:00am. The fact that the hotel management felt it necessary to put those signs up portends the type of behavior that you can expect from some of their current clientele. Garbage cans/piles sitting outside rooms will be there all day long. The walls in the hallways are all marked up. The internet was squirrelly and, according to the staff, it has been that way for over a month due to a power outage. On our most recent visit, we were in our room for less than an hour when the door pops open with another guest walking in that had been assigned the same room...assigned by the same person at the front desk that assigned us that room. When we queried the lady at the front desk about it later, she said that's been happening since the power outage a month or so ago. The lack of concern on the part of the lady at the front desk was alarming. It's really a shame. It is a great location, right on the strip. Many of the staff are friendly and trying to do their jobs, and the complimentary breakfast is pretty good. However, this hotel is not operating anywhere NEAR the Marriott level, and it is damaging the Marriott brand.

First of all, there was an instruction card that came with the reservation however while it did indicate that there is a backdoor, it did not inform that this was the 'main' entrance. There is very limited parking and if you want to park across at the church on or the street, you are at risk of towing. They have no passes for parking in these locations. The beds are their own issue. If you are vertically challenged, you will have great difficulty getting into the main beds. We stayed in a 'suite' (I use this term laughingly as it was just two connecting rooms) that had another room with twin beds. While the main bed seemed to have a mattress from the last century, the twin beds were ancient. The "pillows" that they give you are quite literally flatter than a pancake they would serve you for breakfast. The suite we stayed in was in the front of the house and there is no insulation to cancel ANY of the traffic noises from outside. It was very very stuffy inside and I wasn't able to open a window. We asked for a step stool and were given one that wasn't even as high as a normal step on a staircase. It was still very difficult to get in to the bed. At no time while I was there did I see, hear or meet the host/hostess of the B&B. The only time we met any employee was in the morning during breakfast. These ladies were AMAZING. They almost made up for the lack of any other service or greeting in their friendliness. The breakfast was late the day I was there. There are signs everywhere stating that it would be served at 8:30 but it was closer to 9:30. I'm an early riser so this was a bit of an inconvenience. At least the coffee was available. They had eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, toast, cereal etc. It was set up as a buffet style in a very stylish area of the serving area. The dining room table is gorgeous but there are no placemats to put your plates on, I felt very worried about scratching this gorgeous table. The non guest rooms were fit with comfy areas to just relax and chill after a day of being a tourist. The furniture may not have been the most comfortable, but given how cozy each area was this was easily forgiven. I really enjoyed that each room had a Christmas tree already set up. This is not very handicapped friendly as no matter which way you enter, there are very old steps. The front steps were especially bad. To sum up; Parking; F Comfort; B Room Comfort: C+ Breakfast: A Location: A- Price: C (for our experience it was really really pricey)
