Beautiful property and large building. Plenty of free onsite parking. Even with at least two wedding parties here, I heard no noise at night. My room was spacious and nice looking. Everything was clean and appeared to be new or newly freshened. The bathroom was small but well organized. The king bed was comfortably firm and accompanying blankets and sheets soft. At first I thought there were no outlets near the bed, but I found super convenient plugs on the side of each bed on the adjacent tables. Very nice. Pillows were nice and squishy/firm. The television was large and looked new though I did not turn it on. There was a small room safe. A nice addition would be a small room fridge especially given it's 95° today. I attended a breakfast one morning for the wedding guests. An impressive selection of hot foods and morning bread products. Coffee was very good. Staff were uniformly friendly and helpful. If in the area again, it would be an easy choice to stay here again. read more

I wouldn't say amazing but very nice. I showed up on a Thursday night no reservation and paid $300 for the night. I thought that was a little steep BUT there aren't nice, safe, SAFE hotels on this area. Although Pearl River is beautiful, after/during COVID many hotels/motels became housing and still are. Safety is a major priority for me as a solo woman traveler. This place is safe, you feel it the minute you walk in. Staff were very friendly, a security officer was seen walking and greeting guests, building was redone several years ago so it was immaculate and well decorated. Two issues--wowthe heat was loud when it turned on the bedroom. I sleep with a fan app and even then I woke up a few times. The room was warm cozy, bed was great comforter super soft otherwise. Coffee maker. So maybe I'm a snob. I need my coffee to function. The coffee maker didn't match the quality of the hotel. I was filling lines up with water, I'd burn my thumb then get a cup with 3 tablespoons of water. I called the front desk and asked if a hot cup of water could be sent up (no microwave or other means of heating) and they sent a very polite woman who wanted to help me fix the machine but I kindly told her, please let me just have some coffee and maybe you can check it out after we I'm gone. She laughed and was very understanding. Coffee shouldn't be so hard to make when your already in an unknown place. Imho. Overall, I felt safe, slept well and eventually got my hot cup of Joe. I would stay here again, absolutely. I'd probably try book in to reduce the price rather than just showing up...if I was smarter. Your hotel is ridiculous , we are coming from out of state for a wedding on 9/13 that starts at 4pm, a wedding mind you that is being held inside your hotel. I recently stayed at the property for a wedding celebration. The staff at the Hilton Pearl River are all very friendly and accommodating. I felt both pampered and welcome. The room, towels and linens were impeccably clean. The double queen bed room was spacious. The public interior areas and the immediate exterior grounds are very well maintained. There is a dining room with a continental or full buffet breakfast. The full buffet includes continental options and adds oatmeal with toppings, scrambled real eggs ( not powdered) with toppings, sausage and bacon. The bed was comfortable and the amenities of Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo & shower gel, the makeup wipes and shower cap were appreciated. There is a very well maintained indoor heated pool and whirlpool with lifeguard and a small fitness center. There is not a sundry shop at this property but the limited items available at the front desk like bottled water and Advil were much appreciated. A CVS pharmacy is a short drive away if you need more. Downtown is about a 3 mile walk. There is both a regular Mall and an Outlet Mall within a 10 - 15 minute drive from the property. The limited immediate vicinity access to most things will necessitate having some ground transportation. Surrounding the parking lot is a wooded area with flowing creek. It is a shame that ill mannered guests feel this is a trash disposal area. The property would be well advised to send a clean up crew out there regularly. I recommend the property for a clean, comfortable stay and would return here if in the area again. read more

Terrible sleep experience. The radiator runs all night (it powers on and off in 8 minute cycles). The noise level is indescribable it's so bad and it's impossible to turn off. Even turning off the thermostat doesn't help. I'm surprise a hotel of this level still runs a radiator like this. I couldn't sleep all night bc of how loud it was. Do not recommend. read more

This is a terrific venue for a formal! We decided to turn a family event into a staycation -- on the occasion of my grand niece' cotillion. This charming Hilton property was pleasantly luxurious and spacious for this ball -- attended by over 600 -- made all the more so by an inviting and professional staff. Newly remodeled in a stately manor style -- at check in we were upgraded gratis to one of their 8 executive suites -- featuring a LR, BR and huge tiled/marbled bath/shower. The pastoral view overlooking a golf course from our 4th floor perch at the rear of the hotel was terrific, especially at sunrise, and especially with plenty of room to host family and friends after the event. Nice. Food wise - institutional catering for a crowd can be disappointing -- but not at this Hilton. For dinner we ate petite filet mignon alongside sea bass over a caramelized onion tart. This was not "surf and turf" folks. It was as rounded and as well balanced a meal as you will get from the best professional kitchen. The steak was perfectly medium rare for everyone at our table of 10 -- brightened just enough by a rich Demi glacé. The sea bass was seared until just done -- like butter this was -- adorned simply with grilled asparagus spears with the right amount of residual crunch, served over creamy horseradish flavored mashed. All the textural and flavor elements of this dish worked seamlessly with one another. It takes considerable talent, kitchen logistics and hospitality to get this level of food quality and consistency for hundreds of sit down diners. Even the starter mushrooms in puff pastry with greens dressed in a simple vinaigrette with crumbled goat cheese ate as impressively as any small plate I've eaten recently. Dessert featured tiramisu, raspberry cheese cake and apple crumble, served over chocolate painted plates with berries and a chocolate gaufrette. I would have preferred just fruit -- but for the dessertarians in the crowd -- it was well received. The bar served very generous pours of premium everything. I was in a Negroni kind of mood -- and they mixed my Campari with Bombay Sapphire and Dolin vermouth. Relaxing space -- this dimly lit saloon is an easy place to chill during your party and retreat from the crowds. Sweetie patiently collected me from this oasis between sets of ballroom dancing. ;) Top Tip: Book the executive suite if available -- especially if you will be hosting a crowd after your event. For a modest upcharge, the hotel will supply a refrigerator and plenty of glassware for your "after party." read more

What a beautiful property. Truly enjoyed myself at Hilton Pearl River on my stay last week. Connor welcomed me imperially upon arriving. Not only did Connor acknowledge my tier status, he made sure my requests upon arrival were met. I was assigned room 514 that was overlooking the back part of the property, beautiful landscape. Upon entering my room, I immediately noticed how spacious it was. Room came with two double beds, only needed one bed, but not a big deal. Bed itself was comfortable. Had a good night sleep for sure. The bathroom has a wooded sliding door that I loved so much. Toiletries were half Peter Thomas Roth, which I really enjoy his products, especially the lotion. The other half were Crabtree and Evelyn, odd, as I normally see one or the other. In the morning I did go downstairs to get breakfast. It was Buffett style, and it was delicious. Eggs, made to order... with sides provided on the actual buffet line. Good assortment of breads and bagels, as well as the fruit and yogurt. And the coffee was superb. Overall, I truly enjoyed. Would stay here again, and would absolutely recommend. read more

How can the air conditioning in 2 rooms not work properly on a Saturday during a heat wave??? I am a Rewards Card Member with Hilton Hotels and I cannot believe we were moved twice out of rooms because the air conditioning did not work properly. So the positive first. The bed was very comfortable. Now the bad.... the room service we ordered was expensive and was not prepared properly and also the food was missing items listed on the menu. We called Down to have it corrected and the staff said there was nothing they could do, 10 min later we received a call from the manager of the restaurant saying they would discount our meal by 5 dollars, making a 60 dollar meal 55. Not really helpful. We also visited the pool which required a sign in, no Big deal but when we went to sign in the lifeguard was incredibly rude. My rating is 2 stars. We stayed at this property for two weekday nights in mid-July. Upon arrival there were few cars in the parking lot, but the lobby was jammed as there was an ongoing women's conference going on. We determined later that few of the attendees were actually staying at the hotel. I should note that we are Hilton Honors members and have been members for a number of years. Our reservation was made 30 days in advance. Our standing requests are for a room on the top or an upper floor away from the elevators, additionally when possible we request a non-pet room with extra towels. When checking in we were assigned a room on the second floor. I questioned this, and as has happened in the past at this property any request for a change was denied. The lady checking us in did not say the hotel was full or offer any type of reason when I advised I was an Honors member. She simply said sorry, that was our room. So it appears once a room is assigned the hotel personnel are powerless to make changes. Our room was comfortable and clean and appeared to have been renovated fairly recently. The bathroom amenities/products are high quality. When checking out I mentioned my Honors Club membership, the request for a room on a high floor and the inability of this property to fulfill requests. The polite employee stated she would note our account so this request would be fulfilled in the future. Well, this same promise was made when checking out of this hotel in the past, on at least two separate occasions. This should be a four star rating, but the lack of attention given to Hilton Honors Club members makes me question why the club exists and that this hotel absolutely does not truly welcome Hilton Honors Club members, which is a corporate program. read more

Stayed here two nights for a golf outing at neighboring Blue Hill CC. Requested a room switch after discovering I was too close to the ice maker, forgot something in the room of course but the staff retrieved it. One of the guys in my golfing party forgot his wallet in the bar and Lucy the bartender called to return it. None of his cash was missing! Great experience and I'll be back. read more

Stayed here for a few days while on a business trip. Overall service was great and the rooms were very nice. The hotel it self is old and not updated when you compare them to other Hiltons. I love the fitness area. They have a gym with machines and free weights. Also a pool with hot tub that works and a sauna. They also have a lifeguard on duty. We met two lifeguards and they were Courteous and nice. We did not really do much else at the hotel. We will definitely be going back. The staff was very helpful read more

YIKES!!!! Stay away, folks. Not only is it exorbitantly expensive given it's location, it is dirty, loud and the management is hostile and belligerent (Rose or Rosie, the manager). In addition, to having a terrible night, I just noticed that they charged me twice!!! Yes, twice. I have travelled extensively my entire life, both professionally and for leisure and I have never been charged two times. I just called and they told me that when I checked in they added $50 to my rate for incidentals, which means if I broke or took something, I guess. They, of course, never informed me of this and told me that the card I had given them when I made the reservation had already gone through. The second charge of $303+ will be removed by Monday or Tuesday. Our stay was on Friday and thus the delay. This is unbelievable. No disclosure of double+ billing, no nothing. BTW, this location is in the middle of nowhere and we only stayed there as it was halfway to our destination and we needed to rest. I will never stay at a Hilton again as they are now much more interested in recouping their Covid losses than in being a quality establishment. I have been a Hilton member since the 80's and found this experience appalling on every level. Did I say it was dirty? Yes, I did, but did not detail the extent of the dirt: filthy air vents in both the bedroom and the bathroom, the coffee maker had to be washed by me prior to using and it and the tray it was on produced black soot, a very dirty telephone, no soap in the shower which meant I had to come out to grab the bar of soap at the sink (potential accident, anyone?), an unsealed door so that every single sound was heard as we tried to sleep, and air conditioning that went off every 15 minutes and sounded like a truck backfiring. Wow!!! Stay away. read more

A Hilton is a Hilton, right? well this location is really nice. I was in the area for a corporate meeting and they booked us here. We arrived very late and were able to hang out at the bar and talk to Arthur for a while, he was quite funny.. and put up with our antics and magic tricks. The front desk staff was great and made everything a breeze for us. The room I was in was super clean and the bed was really comfortable. All the linens smelled great and were soft and light. I hate scratchy nasty linen - these were very nice and I slept great here. The decor is up to date and the bathroom is not cramped. Good size flat screen tv and a desk with outlets etc. I always work when I am traveling, so a good desk with adequate lighting etc is a must. The views are pretty of the river, all the trees and such. I never knew NJ was so lush and woody... no wonder they call it The Garden State. I guess I was only thinking of Jersey Shore... We had 33 relatives fly in from Ireland, Scotland and Norway, to attend, and surprise my dad for his 80th Birthday! They all stayed at the Pearl River Hilton and our party for 55 was held in the Conservatory. I can not say enough about the catering person Jaime and her staff. Every single detail was perfect from start to finish. Connor in reservations was just amazing as he dealt with confusion on reservations made via Booking.com. He went above and beyond to solve the confusion that had nothing to do with the Hilton. The room was stunning, the food delicious and all our little specific requests were met with a smile! My dad and family are still raving about their experience and how gorgeous the accommodations were. Deborah at the front desk was amazing and attentive and they were all as excited as we were for dads surprise! Jacque went above and beyond all night going with the flow as the order of things changed! We were in the area last weekend, and decided to stop by for a cocktail and dessert. We had heard good things about the bar and food. The place is magnificent -- beautifully appointed! The bartender, Kans, made us delicious cucumber mint cocktails that were exquisite! One of the dining room servers gave us good tip(s) on which dessert to order, and we proceeded to order the Tuxedo Bomb -- chocolate mousses with a ganache coating -- which did NOT disappoint. My niece held her wedding at Hilton Pearl River this past November for 300 guests. Abbey Rochford, Gerry Burns and the entire events team took magnificent care of them from sales process through planning and execution. They were accommodating and positive when other teams they were considering proved more of a challenge. Out-of-town guests were thrilled with the hotel (some even had a relaxing swim with grandkids in the heated pool after brunch in the atrium the next day). While I write this review as the uncle of the bride, I also happen to own H&H Photographers, an established photography and video studio that has deep roots in the region. There are a handful of elegant rooms in the area for 300-guest lovely wedding. Hilton Pearl River is one you should visit. read more

I attended a New Year's Eve wedding at Hilton Pearl River and had a wonderful experience from beginning to end! The check in was a breeze and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and spacious for a queen room. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is for the lack of pizazz in the rooms. The building from the outside is incredibly beautiful - castle-like even. Inside the room you could be in any 'ol Hilton. But no true complaints about anything! The staff that worked the wedding was so attentive. Water glasses were always filled, dirty plates were cleared quickly and everyone was very cordial. I'm not 100% sure who was responsible for the catering but the plated dinner was your standard so-so wedding food. However, the cocktail hour appetizer stations were to DIE FOR! There were so many option and all were incredibly delicious. Again - not sure if it was Hilton to thank, but they were all so good. It was a like a tour around the work - sushi station, falafel station, sliders, fruit & veggie station, chicken & waffles...all DELICIOUS! The ballroom was beautifully decorated and the staff seemed very knowledgeable and experienced when it came to running a wedding. I am recently married and could feel the organization in the room. Overall, great experience. Would certainly return if ever in Pearl River, NY again. read more

This hotel is safe, the rooms are fine, and it's near NYC and the Tappan Zee bridge. Beyond that it has some issues. Front desk service is good, but services offered by the website (like Request upon Arrival orders) are both not in place when you enter the room and then turn out to be entirely out of stock (I just wanted a Saranac or 2), and when there was an attempt to fill my order through the restaurant rather than room service, the communication between room service and the restaurant was nonexistent, as the restaurant had no idea what I was talking about (they didn't charge me for it in the end, so that's good, but what I thought would be pretty cool turned out to be an absolute mess). The hotel itself is fine, though I do wish housekeeping/the hotel would reset the alarm clocks as well (I didn't check the clock and was going to try to get a little extra sleep, only to find out the previous guest had set the alarm clock for 5:30 AM). In general, if you want a safe, convenient hotel this place is fine. read more

The furnishings inside the building could use a refresh and the carpets could almost certainly stand to be replaced. The hotel has an east-coast-old-money feel that reminds me of childhood gatherings and visits with my grandparents. I attended a wedding reception here a few weeks ago. The reservation process was simple, and there was a discount offered for wedding guests, which was nice. The hotel itself is a beautiful sight. It looks like no Hilton I've ever seen; more like a chateau nestled in the trees. There was plenty of self-parking available for free. The check in and out process was simple and painless. The elevators were seriously awful - the doors would close no matter if you were in its way or not. Scary. The rooms for the cocktail hour and reception were lovely and spacious. All staff I encountered were pleasant. The cosmopolitans at the cocktail hour were especially delicious. We loved the cocktail hour food, as well as the reception food. The hotel rooms were very nice, with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms, as well as lovely products in the bathroom. This is definitely a great hotel for events, and I would stay here again if ever necessary. read more

I love this hotel! It is absolutely gorgeous and stunning. I had my senior prom here many moons ago and just over the weekend my best friend tied the knot here. It was an amazinlgy gorgeous wedding. The catering hall was perfect, the food was yummy, the drinks were flowing, the staff was helpful, the hotel rooms were clean and so much more. The Hilton went above and beyond my expectation and I truly have nothing negative to say about this wedding location. Usually you can always leave a wedding and say... the set up was bad, the meat was tough, the staff sucked, the room was cold... something, but I am speechless after this past wedding weekend. Really this hotel deserves three and a half stars but there ARE no three and a half stars on yelp so...there you go. For the most part, this hotel accommodated the needs of the guest. Beds were firm, bathrooms clean, well stocked, everything worked, there was enough room for things, staff was friendly, price was eh, mildly overpriced but whatever it's a hotel in New York/NJ border, whattayagonnado. #sopranos WHY do I pay 200 dollars for a hotel room and there is nothing even remotely close to breakfast offerings? I like waking up early, going downstairs while everyone is sleeping, and getting coffee, granola bars, yogurt, fruit, whatever the hell for my sleeping companions. It makes everyone wake up smiling and then they're nice to me for at least a few hours unless I do something pretty messed up, which, like, never happens. The breakfast HAS to be purchased (for damn near $20, um, please no thanks) and you pretty much have to sit there to eat to get your money's worth as well. I'm not asking for like eggs and sausages buffet for free by the coffee stand. I'm literally asking for red delicious apples, bananas, and some granola bars. EVERY hotel, even hotels not near as classy as this one, offers some sort of sustenance for guests. What's the deal here exactly? It's not that hard. Granola bars don't go bad either if it's like a perishable thing, which it shouldn't be, since you still have a kitchen using food. Come on. Let's go. read more

First off, it look way nicer on the photos, but it is not bad. The gardens are pretty, but you cannot go beyond the creek because it's a golf course and "trespassers are prosecuted" Like many Hiltons, the rooms are old and tired, but this hotel is not particularly well kept on top of that. Be careful with the Windows, they may fall! Breakfast is nothing worth mentioning. Not the worst ever, but definitely not among the best within the Hilton family. Mind yourself with the Business Center, if you need to print, they will charge you. I had never seen this before... So, overall, just OK. If this hotel is convenient because of the location, go ahead. If you are looking for a nicer hotel/experience, this may not be the place. read more

Best Hotel Bed/ Bedding Ever! I wish some hotels let you check-out at 3pm for a fee. I would've went back to sleep after breakfast for sure if I could've. Didn't love the shower, wish I got a bathtub but I hate to change rooms, so really it's my fault. I was here for a wedding, it was beautiful and done very well.
